Finn stumbled along even further, trying to ignore the voice that, like his mothers before, seemed to become more persistent, louder, more obnoxious, and in a way, more frightening as he went. He wanted to tell it to leave him alone, but he knew that wouldn't get him anywhere.
In the distance, he could see a little bit of light.
He was almost home free.

Maybe she was thinking too soon that it was going quickly... She started to slow as she walked. A new voice was talking and it was growing louder and louder as she walked. This time it was her though, this voice was one that was so familiar that she couldn't handle it. She paused and stared trying to figure out if it really was her... and turns out it was.
He's right you know her voice hissed in her mind, no know this wasn't going to be good. you aren't worth any of this. You're doing so horrible, there are people that could be in your place and doing so much better She gritted her teeth as she walked
Don't listen keep walking Neci encouraged, and Harlow nodded. She swallowed and attempted to sound out the voice hounding her.

"We're not gonna die, idiot," Piper snapped a little too quickly. Indicating them to follow with a few brisk snaps of her fingers, she turned around, opened the door, and headed on through. She kept telling herself she could do this all the while, her shoulders relaxing only slightly; the voices would haunt her for a few moments yet.
But pretending she could lord over the boils helped a little.

As he traveled, Milo began to wonder if Koume could hear the voices that persisted all around him. She made no mention of their annoyance or the things that they said, didn't question the personal information his sister's seemed to spout out or comment on details. The only detested things she mentioned was how slow his progress was and how much she wanted to get out of this place.
"You don't hear those, do you...." He muttered softly as he walked. And then basically ran into a wall straight on. Aa, ******** a dead end.
< Watch where you're going, aho. And no, I don't know what you're talking about....>

And she probably didn't hear the new one. That sounded like Allan-taichou. Huh. He always sounded so chipper, always spoke of nakama and now he was speaking so ill of everyone. How weird....

Harlow's head was starting to hurt, her ankle ached from one of the monsters she fought and she was just starting to feel generally frustrated with the situation that she found herself in at the moment. She wanted to get out of here. As her voice taunted her she started to move faster, hopefully approaching the end of this whole thing faster and faster.

There were four voices whispering in his ear. He had a crowd, a company. In some retrospects he had a Ranger Team is he included himself in the mix. All different personalities - wait, did this make him clinically crazy? What was the right term for this though? Not split personalities.
Well, maybe he could call it that when the fifth one joined in after a turn. Because now he was hearing himself tell him off. He was saying such unkind things to himself! They all were now! They were all saying the same thing now! (Except for Koume, but she sounded like she was getting close to it, frustrated and everything).
"Think they'll go away when I get out of here?" He asked her.
< Dunno what you're talking about, but you said the other stuff went away when you left them...>
Maybe. Urg! There were so many! And his tone sounded so pointed right now, accusing him of giving up on his dream, giving in so easily to the whole Deus thing and making such bad life choices.
His sister chimed in and agreed, that other random voice grunted. And Allan added his own opinion, which was pretty much the same. He sounded more chipper though as he berated his subordinate.

Harlow continued to walk as quickly as she could. It almost seemed like the idea of getting out of here quickly was becoming distant, she had a small fear that she was going to be stuck here forever. She lifted her head though and continued to walk, trying to focus on the end instead of the voices.

It was her lucky day it appeared, as she slid along the wall she found herself at the end. Thank god. She pushed her way through the way and then let out a nice sigh. She was so thankful that she was done. The voices started to fade and she felt like a weight was lifted.

If there was anything that five voices could have been doing, it would have been breaking out into song or something. He wished they would break out into song but they weren't going to from the sound of it. Just be angry with him, now even his partner but less so .. or at least it was typical of her to.
Milo kept moving, trying to tune them out as best as he could, adding in his own voice as he hummed through several Power Ranger songs. Loudly. He barely noticed as his hand brushed up against something oddly shaped - not wall like at all - and disappeared into it apparently. He stopped for a moment as it tingled though, looked down at it but then realized he couldn't very well see his hand.
He got back to humming and walking.

Milo was now the collector of voices - save for one, so close to having them all (thankfully he didn't know that). Another joined in, another filled with malice. A voice he had not heard in a very long time. One that he wouldn't say he was afraid of, per say but one that he had hated to hear, one that filled him with dread. The disappointed tone of his father, speaking low and even but that sort of voice where you know you can never make up for what you had done wrong. It didn't have to be strong or aggressive, just just. And that was what he heard add into the collective.
And it was the worst one.

The second attempt did literally about as well as the first. One, two turns, and he was back in the same area. Or, he suspected it was. It was a little hard to tell with this lighting.
