Evelyn snickered. "Or... you could watch me in action." She tilted her head slightly at him. "Try not to get too intimidated spirit boy, unlike a lot of demons I'm in control of my true form." She said vaguely as suddenly her body started to shift shape. Her whole body grew larger and her clothes seeped through acid turning her whole body black she sunk onto four gooey claws and more eyes claimed ownership of her head as she seeped putrid acid out of her fanged mouth. "Now then.." She spoke gruffly. "Shall we get this welcoming party started?"
Xenia understood all that he was saying however after seeing all that he was putting on his plate she got anxious again and put exactly the same things on her own plate. "I don't know.." She sighed as she looked to all the food. "It's all so overwhelming."

Ruji. Stepped back, " interesring.. and intimidating. " he nodded following her lead staying hidden Along the stone walls at first waiting his chance to enter with a killing blow.
Theodor laughed , " copying me?" He. Sat down and for once in his life he tried to be sivle and eat without maintenance a mess l. " anything you may have heard abuot here you wanna tried after lunch? I'd be happy to take or show you. Or we can hit the gun store on the way back to the training feild. By the way that place is a secrate don't tell anyone."

Xenia nodded with a smile. "That's okay.. I can keep a secret." She went and carefully sat down with her food. "I would love to go to the gun shop. You must have different guns here. We don't like to import them from where I live so I've always used Russian guns. I'd love to use guns from different countries and lands, that'd be really fun." She smiled more.
Evelyn snickered. "Watch and learn, doofus." Evelyn casually strolled her massive limbs through the tunnels until she came to a massive opening into a giant draining system on the floor where a hoard of Demons swarmed around a dead body, ripping limb from limb, blood splattering everywhere. "Afternoon boys." Evelyn growled as they all suddenly turned, scepticism and fear in their eyes as they looked at her shape. To her they were nothing, skinny shrivelled tortured creatures and behind them stood a few bulkier Demons with morphing bodies and all for characterisation they had two floating red eyes. "You do realise eating flesh does nothing for your power." One of the bulkier demons hissed. "Ssstay away from here.. human pet... this is our feast.." Evelyn's expression contorted. "I am no humans pet." Acid flew everywhere as she roared. "Not my feast? All right then... I guess you all will have to substitute for me.." She pounced right into the middle of them and started ripping them all apart. Some tried to flee however the acid caught them and made them sizzle to the floor.

*Theador nodded, "Oh we got all sorts of imported stuff allover the world. Since we're located almost center of all the countrys, it's really easy for us to be a trade rout between them all." He started to cut up his chicken, "I think our countrys biggest thing is food though. Like it used to be Americas, but even they started to run low on food so we really supply a lot to all areas to keep them helthy. In return they trade all sorts of things, like weapons, or well, whatever they have a abundance of I guess." He was trying to explain to her everything, so she would see this side of there little war instead of just the side of her fathers. "There are more smithing shops latly though, Yokai have this rule where a blade give the user Honer like the japs. Most prefer not to use firearms. They feel that anyone can use a gun properly, but it takes true skill from the user to use a blade. If they user isn't good enough on battle, then at least they went down in honer of not taking the easy way." He chuckled, "kind odd that my family uses both way though now that I think about it."
Ruji stood there with a stunned, but serious of course, look. It was... rather amazing but he regained himself and came around the corner to stop some runners that were smaller. With a flick of the rist, a blade made entirely of water flew across the room, cutting them into pieces and disappearing. A few flung here and there, and the room was cleared out. Ruji finally turned, "I... am vary impressed. I've never seen Demons clash before. However I do not understand why they call you a Human Pet? Perhaps a rumor they started for a title?"

Evelyn scowled as she slowly started to shift back into her human form. "They call me that to mock me. It's not the first time. They think that I serve humans because I am friends with one primarily. However that is not the case." She looked to the remains with a frown. "It's used as a slur. To be under a humans command... is the worst kind of fate for a demon. Unthinkable. You'd be a mockery of Demons." She suddenly chuckled, lightening the mood. "I guess they all don't like me so much because I'm killing them off and getting more powerful for it."
Xenia nodded, interested. "So this kingdom is like.. a trading standpoint for other kingdoms? I see, I see. That's cool. Means this kingdom is pretty wealthy then huh." She looked down to her food. "Russia isn't really good for much other than firepower. We make really good weapons. Not so sure on the blades thing though. I mean humans don't really have amazing abilities to go with certain weapons." She giggled innocently.

*Theador shrugged, "We see humans using blades of all kinds. They outclass Yokai sometimes~" he nodded, "And yea sort of wealthy, but also there's the fact we spend a lot too. See having a country made up of different types and people... well sometimes it creates problems and conflictions and there's a lot of damage in our own boarders. Like this city, it get rebuilt a lot." He chuckled sipping his drink, " I'm not trying to just up talk us or anything. Just letting you understand there's too sides the coin. As I said, I read up a little on Russia. From being from there you know how there sees things, but on the other side now, you can see how this side is too. Can sort of help you see that's there's really not much point in the war in the first place in my option. There's always a solution of some kind. Course I say that, but it's not like I'll ever be a king." He laughed, "they would love it too much~"
Meanwhile Ruji nodded, "I see. Most of the Youkai Nature (spelt right for a reason not Yokai, with a U in there) do see humans on the lower side of things when it comes to power and control. But they are mostly always after power and control too. On another note though some need the humans to exsist and rely on them wether they know it or not. So frankly it seems they do not know the balance of that of how they mock you." He checked one squatting down, "Tell me... after you aquire all this power, what do you plan on doing with it?" Ah yes, now that was a fearful question as he looked to her as if begging for the right answer.

Evelyn scratched her head as she puzzled over it. "You know what, I never actually thought about that. All this time I've been working toward gaining more power and I don't actually have a purpose for it in the end. To be honest I was only doing this for Shortstraw so I don't know what I'm doing now. I don't need all this power, it's not like I'm going to use it for anything particularly malicious or benevolent." She looked down as she became lost in thought. "I don't actually have a purpose in life, now that I think about it." She chuckled awkwardly. "Wow, that got depressing fast."
Xenia thought about this for a moment as she brought her finger to her lips. "Yeah, I suppose I see that. All the buildings look so new here and yet this an old city." She sighed. "You know I didn't even know Yokai existed until my father told me a year ago. In Russia... I was so sheltered from the rest of the world. I didn't know what was happening at all. And here I am, sharing a meal with one of them." She giggled. "Kind of funny."

*Theador blushed, "actually... I'm only half Yokai. Sure my last name is Yokai, but I mean I'm half Human too." He pointed, "but see some of them are Yokai. Like Rob, he's a vegitable." He laughed, "no I mean litarly he's a plant like creature. They have really green thumbs, can grow just about anything if they plant it." He shrugged making his point, "the best thing I can say about being here, is what you can learn. I mean good or bad, there's billions of different things out there, and you learn more and more about each type everyday. Like just when you arrived and that big event happened and all that, I learned what a Litch King was... and a Shade... kinda." He shrugged, "it's really cool to friend different things and learn a but them. Solfora is a Vampire doughter of Dracula himself, did you know that when you met her? Kinda a big deal when my Uncle met her I guess. I don't really know I was really really small." He chuckled.
Meanwhile Ruji stood, "as far as the purpose you seem to be like me. With many things you can do, but nothing in perticullar as to reason to do it." He shrugged, "this is life for some. The answer comes in time they say, some longer then others." He blinked, "However I'll admit my fascination of you thus far... this Shortstraw person, tell me more of how you and him are connected in this life. How did you meet, what and why did you assit him aswell?" He was full of questions, mostly about Evelyn. Seems she was the spark of conversation for him as they headed down the halls again.

Evelyn sighed with a small smile. "That's a long story in itself." She nodded. "But I guess we have time. You see back when I was a regular demon I made a deal with Amelie. I did things from babysitting Kiera as a child to destroying her enemies. When Kiera grew up I soon became her demon too for her entertainment. When Shortstraw came into the picture with her I met him and instantly hated him for what he was. I tested him a lot. And I even managed to get him and Kiera together." She giggled. "Funny to think that we're eternally connected now. I made a deal with him so that I was able to stay alive and not be sent back to hell or worse, purgatory. When I detached from the demon circle he hired me up to hunt demons with him in his organisation. Of course I was still sceptical about this and his relationship with Kiera but I did anyway. And we did this for years. Him and Kiera got married. Everything worked out no matter the struggle. And now we're left like this." She sighed. "Kind of sad, really."
Xenia scratched her head. "Dracula? Really? From the stories?" She sighed. "Wow. I didn't think he actually existed." "You'll come to find kid that all those mythological beings you were told to scare you as a child actually existed or did at one point." Hana giggled. "Sorry, ignore me. Just passing through." She went and sat in a booth nearby, cooing on the shoulder of some handsome man. Xenia frowned. "Isn't that your... aunt was it?"

*Ruji shrugged, "seems to me he needs you more then you let on to be willing to do such a thing. However in the same sense he seems like a good guy, really attached to Keria." he remember seeing them one time before, but not for long at all. "Seems you are ready to move on, perhaps with that Colin Guy. Maybe with him your find your true purpose perhaps." Finally they reached topside, "hmmm seems we still have daylight to waste. Perhaps another hunt?"
Meanwhile Theador frowned, "yea that my Aunt Hanna." He put a hand up and whispered, "the family really doesn't seem to like her, but she's really been helpful to my sister and I even though the rest don't know it." He shrugged and put his hand back to the table, "she sorta... has a issue with drinking... and... stuff with guys." He didn't wanna say the real word infront of a girl he liked. He was already turning red as he noticed she was finished, or close to it and stood up, "come on lets get going already~"

Evelyn shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. Colin is like-" "Evelyn!" Kiiro suddenly appeared out of nowhere with a scared expression. "You need to come now! He just appeared and- and I don't know.. I don't know what to do.. You need to come quick.." Evelyn's eyes widened, almost like she knew what was happening. "Take us to it." Kiiro nodded as she teleported them all back to the castle kitchen where to Evelyn's horror Colin laid on the table with mortal wounds through his chest and head. Celia, the other bounty hunter stood next to him with a concerned expression as she tried to stop the bleeding. He spluttered out a small smile with some blood. "Ev.. I'..ve got myself... into a bit.. of.. a state.." He coughed out some more blood which now layered the floor in a sticky mess. Evelyn rushed over to him and shook violently as she carefully took his head in her arms. "Colin! Colin oh my god.. Colin what happened?!" She was too gobsmacked to make out any other words. Colin just opened his eyes weakly and gave her a desperate smile. "This contract we had, it was too much for us. More like a suicide mission. We had to go against this psychotic man. I don't even know what he was.. but he did this.. I got out of there as soon as I could. But this is fatal." She looked to Evelyn seriously. "He's going to die." Evelyn knew those words were coming but she still couldn't stomach it. She looked down to Colin slowly and tenderly as she cradled him in her arms. "I'm.. sorry Ev.. I can't... keep our promise.." Evelyn smiled through silvery tears. "Oh... shut up you knumskull... You'll tire yourself out.."
Xenia nodded as she stood up to walk with him. "Are we going to the gun shop now?" She asked excitedly. "Your aunt doesn't seem like a bad woman. I mean if she helps out a lot then it doesn't matter what she does right?" She smiled sweetly to him. "I thought your family didn't like judging people."

*Theador shrugged, "They don't, but lets just say my Aunt pushes that boundry abit sometimes." He looked down with a shie and finally said it, "she's a whore and proud. Drinks a lot, and is rude to everyone, even in really serious or sad moments. It's like she don't care sometimes. But yea she helped me and Evlein get two items when we were kids. The first one was really... embaricing... she ended up naked infront of the entire city, and waved It off as a good thing. Truth was though she was being controlled by our teacher at the time with a item." He relized something he looked to her, "oh yea I forgot to mention that huh. Evelin and I are taking up the original family business of finding the items that down belong in the world, or to make sure they are only in the right hands. A lot of times end up in odd places sometimes. We catalog everything too, kept a few incase they are needed. Nothing major yet, we're sorta on vacation from it right now." He nodded. Was that something hot to a girl? Probably... or at least he would like to think so.
Meanwhile Ruji stood there to watch, unsure what to say or do at this point. It was out of his hands. he could try his healing methods though his water... but it was a fatal wound it looked, his were manly for minor stuff and that about it. He dicided to just wait it out. He's seem many deaths, and sad things in his time. But again he didn't understand the emotion. Sadness. Loss for Love. And here he relized once again that it wasn't really effecting him, but to evelyn it wasn't looking good.

Xenia's eyes glittered. "That's so cool! Can I see some of these items? Or is that top secret? I've never known items to have special powers or abilities before. Ah, the human world is so boring compared to this. I just want to live here." She giggled as they walked into the gun store where she instantly rushed to the counter. "Woah!"
Evelyn held him there for a few minutes longer before he coughed finally. "I love you.. Evelyn.. I'm sorry.. I wasn't able to stay.." Evelyn was on tipping point, her tears clouded her eyes and her sobs became louder. "Don't say that. You protected me for so long. You deserve a rest." Colin smiled weakly. "It's a chore to be... away from you.." Evelyn sank her head to his chest, not even minding that she was covering herself in his blood. "Don't be so sappy Colin.. you know I hate it." She said sadly. Colin let out one last strained laugh. "You know I'll keep on.. doing it.. until you appreciate it.." He let out one last breath and shut his eyes as Evelyn looked up to him again. She saw in his eyes that he was gone and she shut her own. Evelyn stayed that way with Colin for several minutes before she gently put his head back on the table and looked to Celia blankly. "Who was this contract you had?" Celia's eyes thinned. "I'm not allowed to disclose-" "WHO THE ******** WAS IT?!" Evelyn had her up against a wall holding her by her shirt and her eyes were ablaze with fury. "I'll give you the ******** documents jesus christ woman." Celia said defensively as Evelyn slowly let her down. She reached into her back and handed Evelyn a file.

*Meanwhile Shortstraw suddenly felt a sharp shock, almost like a bullet through his chest and leaped out of bed. He didn't have time to remember what he had done with keria now, he raced out the room with his cloak to cover him and ran down the railing of the stares, then leaped and used the chandler to swing into the kitchen, "Evelyn whats wro..." he stopped mid sentince and slowed up seeing Colin there on the table. Blood everywhere, and Evelyn putting that other bounty hunter down before a paper was handed out umong them. Shortstraw slowly walked closer for a better look, "awww s**t..." he replied in a mumble as he looked to Evelyn. He knew the feeling. He was sure she was capable of going unstable at this point. "Evelyn..." he started. but he knew he wouldn't have the chance to finish. But he could guess by Colins wound what was going on.
Meanwhile Ruji glared as he watched. A demon with feeling was about to be be released to the world. Somehow the fellow he met only this morning was no more, that reason he spoke of was now going to go straight to vengeance in the demon, no his recent friend. Evelyn. However he remained quiet for now. The boy, he realized could be shortstraw who had entered...
Meanwhile Theador smiled and walked behind her, "what? you know that one?"

Evelyn opened the file quickly, not even noticing Shortstraw was there. She looked through the details and the picture of the person before finally focusing on the name. "Vergil.." She looked through his other details. "Nephilim?" She didn't know others existed other than Cale and his elder brother that died ages ago. However, this was a challenge. Especially so because he was half angel which wouldn't mix well with her demonic side. She didn't even think about that as a prospect. All she wanted was blood. Retribution. Her sense clouded over as she looked up to see Shortstraw. "I have to go." She started to the door but Kiiro stopped her. "Woah Evelyn no. I know this guy. You can't." Evelyn scowled and pushed her aside. "Immortal guy is about to get a hell of a lot more mortal."
Xenia smiled happily. "I know all of these. I've only seen them in books and on the internet though. I'm actually seeing these in real life!" She exclaimed as she moved to get a better look at some of them. "The craftsmanship is amazing!"
