He pulled away from the hugs, and knelt by Rep. "Rep, I did something terrible to you... And the guilt is eating me up..."He sucked in a breath, blue eyes looking pleadingly at the red head, "I was the one that drew the picture of you as a Hutt. It was childish. You're right about me, yanno? I am a child. I'm so sorry, Rep."His eyes ducked down, a frown on his lips. "If it means anything.. I spent the most time drawing you. It had to be perfect, after all... I even stole one of Mark's books to get it right and..."

The Rep slug of sadness looked up at Otto with forlorn eyes.
"That picture really hurt my feelings. Because sometimes I feel like I'm really like, old and fat and unattractive, its why I make fun of people so relentlessly who ******** are good looking. But its ok. I understand, I don't think it was childish, it was just what you had to do. It was necessary."
He sniffed. "It was a very well done drawing. And like, I appreciate accuracy in a Star Wars drawing. I am a terrible ******** person I make fun of the geeks and then I watch the s**t they like and just feel superior to them."
He slumped back on the floor. "It's ok Otto. It's ok. You are still a good guy. Still a better guy than me."

"Yes," the D word lead said very seriously to Gale, "I will never K word again, as long as I live."
Caelius managed to give Lucky another extremely sensitive hug - the latter having professed a touching 'no, you' - when his cell phone went off. He somehow managed to hold Lucky, pat Gale's head fondly, and read the cell phone text. A second later, with a very deepset frown, his full attention was on the phone, trying to figure out how to deeply and meaningfully send a text message that would express the full range of his gratitude for them taking time out of their day to send him such an important but touching text in one tiny message box (the word space was limited because his cell phone screen was very small and could only fit so many words on it without becoming unreadable) when a second message pinged through. And a third.
Five minutes later, after checking to make sure all punctuation and spelling was correct, he hit send and just stood there anxiously waiting for a reply. When none came, it came to his very sensitive conclusion that he should probably go help them. With a portal. Of friendship. Wow everything Allan was saying was finally making sense.
As everyone continued ignoring him for their own group drama (except Lucky and a few stragglers), he had somehow managed to summon his weapon and quietly and very carefully start drawing a friendship portal on the floor, which was basically like carving a square portal into the ground like he usually did, but spelling out the words friendship portal instead of a square that would not nearly represent all the sensitive feelings he had. He got as far as the portal-shaped 'F', written rather impressively large and in perfectly straight typography, when the portal went ahead and sucked everyone in because even Circe had her limits to patience.

The landed on firm grass and not sand, though it was extremely foggy and dark, making it hard to pinpoint exactly where they were. In the not-so-far distance, were signs of a terrible, gruesome battle: several Hunters had tried to approach the monstrosity alone and had suffered terribly, sprawled over the ground in mostly unconscious and maybe dead piles. But it was better to pretend they were sleeping.
And there, in the very, very center of the mess of fallen Hunters was nothing other than-
A giant killer pumpkin. To be fair, it was rather giant. It it was also very killer, which is demonstrated by grabbing a hapless Hunter by the ankles, wrapping it around in many twisted thick vines, and shaking the stuffing and suffering out of them. Said Hunter went flying, never to be seen again, until the mission ended of course.
It was then that the giant killer pumpkin spotted the fresh meat in the form of new arrivals. Several vine tendrils buried into the ground, and it smiled long and terribly and with extreme prejudice grabbed at Rin, Kostya and Sherry and pulled the three towards it closer and closer, slamming them repeatedly against the ground as it did. Its eyes glowed a deep yellow and the inside of its mouth seem to burn with hellfire, the sound of a thousand tortured souls emitting from its hollows.
It was probably very dangerous. BOSS FIGHT GIANT INSANITY PUMPKIN REDUX HP: ???/??? STATUS EFFECT: The sensitivity status effect still carries over. That poor pumpkin. What did it ever do to have to put up with them? (Once again this only applies if you were quoted in the first post @ character) otherwise HAVE AT IT Attacks: Players can attack 3 times this round. You can rp unlimited turns. You take - 5 auto damage from the thick and painful vines. SaIiru The boss must take 30 damage for this turn for it to let her go! GrnGriff The boss must take 50 damage for this turn for it to let her go! astrazilla The boss must take 75 damage for this turn for it to let him go!

Amongst the thumps against the ground as Kostya was dragged--literally kicking and screaming like an injured rabbit-- the following could be heard throughout the field.

Otto wailed at the sight of the fallen. His heart pained, until he caught sight of the Great Pumpkin. "DON'T FIGHT IT! HE JUST WANTS FRIENDS!"

He yanked Rep up too, summoning B0nez in a flash of pink.

Leon had to agree with the Otto and his purdy mouth. "It probably is just tormented and needs companionship." he called out and went to to its side.
The eternal life intermediate held no worries as he opened his arms and gave it a chest hug.
With all the Pec power he could muster.

When it appeared Jerry wanted to sit out this show of feelings, Jason sighed and merely waited for something to happen that would either transport them back to the real world or wake them all up. Instead, they were transported to another location and faced with a giant pumpkin. "J-j-j-j-JERRY!" Jason shouted as a vine snaked around his leg, summing his sword to cut at it before it drag him away as well. HP: 45 Damage: 5 Target: Boss b***h Charge: 1/3

The self pitying slug that was Rep found himself lifted aloft whether he liked it or not.
The following reactions were almost seared in instinct, responding to Harrison's tone over all else. He said summon. Rep summoned, Tracey appearing in a slither of jet black serrated blades, twisted up in whip.
Rep eyed the pumpkin in a moment of hesitation, eyeing the big pumpkin. He'd hurt so many giant insanity monsters. They probably had family and friends and it was terrible. And maybe it just wanted to be friends with Rin. It was probably his fault somehow it had Kostya, sometimes bad things just happened to people he didn't like, it was probably psychic.
"But all I do is hurt things. I'm sorry, I'm reformed!" he teetered near Harrison, still not quite running to attack.

Suddenly the feel-good room was replaced with a not-so-feel-good place. Stormy blinked several times to make sure it wasn't just her despair at how utterly awful she was manifesting. Nope, that was a real pumpkin monster. And it was making friends!
"Gale." She eyed him with a small frown as she summoned her weapon, the only reason she felt to do so being that after all the pain she had caused, the least she could do was look useful. Protection was useful, right? That's all she needed to be; maybe it was the only way to redeem herself. "Promise me you won't hurt it, okay? It's just lonely, and very cuddly, too--just like you are!" It was even smiling! Who would want to hurt that?

She was a Moon-sandwich. Stuck between Marcus's strong embrace as he murmured about how he was awful and sorry and sorry and sorry and - it went on for a while as she stroked Abbi's hair and just tried to maintain the status quo that was going on as the Deus Hugfest '14 played out in the room (with Caelius involved. She really hoped someone got that on camera for some reason).
"Hey, hey, hey, babe....I thought we were workin' it out alright....You don't need to apologize again," more she didn't want him to apologize when it wasn't coming from his heart, ok? Still, she leaned into him and sighed. Trapped.
And Caelius was doing something now. Trapped between two chairs she couldn't go snoop, but she did watch until - "Oh for fuc-"
And then the hug-fest was replaced by a being-hugged-by-Moon-sammich-and-death-everywhere fest '14. Great. Just her favorite thing (but not really). Cass sighed deeply as she tried to wiggle out of the hold of the two moons to draw out Nicodemus (the two shared a very awkward silence with each other in her head) and hopefully to hit a giant pumpkin.HP: 55/60 Damage:11 Damage to Pumpkin thus far: 16

It was enough. He was overwhelmed with guilt, self loathing and despair at his actions but he could cling to Harrison despite it all, and Harrison's judgement. He might have forgotten how to ignore guilt, but he hadn't forgotten how to trust. "O-okay. I can do it."
Tracey said in support, calm and level but with just a hint of irritation at Rep's far too emotional present state.
He drew up the axe, sniffed again, still trying to keep the swell of emotions and tears in check, tried not to think about the pumpkin's upset family and pain but of Harrison instead.
But sensitivity didn't swing a big axe, nor did hesitance or concern for the wellbeing of his opponent. His feeble attempt to just "scare it a little bit" resulted in no traction at all and a hiss of annoyance from Tracey.
Tracey found himself turning back to Harrison to give Rep the kick in the rear he could not.

"Caelius," said Gale in exasperation - because he sure as hell wasn't going to say "dad" - "Caelius, what are you..."
"...Caelius."
He wasn't sure what had happened, how it had happened, or why it had happened; all Gale knew was that it most definitely had happened and now there was a giant pumpkin (better than a dragon, he thought, but still), and it was grabbing people and well that was not good.
The sniper rifle appeared in Gale's hand, and he gave Stormy's hand a reassuring squeeze.
"Don't worry," he said soothingly, even as he was pointing the gun towards the pumpkin. "This doesn't hurt it, okay? I'm just going to try and help the people it's trying to hug, okay? You know, er..." He gave a cough. "So other people can have a chance!"

Curling up closer, he nodded, acknowledging everything Sherry said (except maybe for the part where she said it was her fault) and was going to give another blubbery response when they apparently got sucked into a portal, and some giant pumpkin very rudely broke up their touching bonding time.
He only watched blankly as the pumpkin slammed Sherry and two other hunters against that ground. He would have went to help, but, well, the pumpkin probably just wanted her company because she was a very good listener, and comforter.
Instead of doing the sensible thing and coming to her aid, he just kind of... sat. And waited.
It's ok, he could share. Poor pumpkin.
