Krieg started to laugh and saw the enemy leave "Shishishishi! That just means more for me to rip apart!" He looks at Shira "So what's the plan now? Didn't mean to destroy your place and your partner is gonna hate me for that. Sorry." He takes a slight bow apologizing to Shira "But your partner's family is in danger and an hired assassin known as Ghost is running killing."

==== ☠ ==== The Reaver gave Ellise a smile as he stretched. "Better than being a dumbass, Ellise." He looked over at Shira. "That guy?" He asked. "Is he allied with Death's family in this world too? Huh...ironically I guess that means he's a completely different person. In our world he was adopted by some pretty...."bad guys" I guess you would consider them, and became a pretty bad guy himself. Has a bit of a sadistic streak. Very powerful and influential. There's rumors that he killed his adoptive parents to take over the family fortune. He manages it really well though; managed to get pretty close to Lord Death. I'm guessing it's different here though, huh?" He looked over to Ellise again. "I dunno. What do I look like, the alternate world librarian?" He then looked at Krieg. "Yeah man, just make sure you don't run into the wrong ones."

"Oh yeah!" she looked at The Reaver "Why did you help me when those guys first attacked. For a second there, it seemed you were trying to protect me?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

==== ☠ ==== The Reaver listened to Shira. "I'd tell you to stay out of it but it would probably be pointless," he told her before he heard Ellise. He paused for a moment, which was unusual for him. "Well you'd just healed me so I figured I might as well pay ya back right there. Don't like feeling like I owe someone," he told her with a blank expression before he slipped into a small smile again. "Besides," he added, leaning back into the couch. "I enjoy showing off how my reaction time is so much better than yours."

Ellise didn't seem to be buying what The Reaver said "I healed you after you helped me though..." She told him, putting a hand on her hip. "And my reaction time is good... I sensed those guys coming." she told him.

Krieg stares blankly for a while then blinks again. He mutters to himself "That was weird." He felt his soul go haywire again. He looks around making sure everything was alright. He takes a deep breathe as he sees nothing happened to him yet.

==== ☠ ==== The Reaver paused a second time as he heard Ellise's response. "Well, I knew you were going to heal me. I mean, you'd already put the tag on me. Unlike me you wouldn't do that unless you meant it. Pre-emptive payback. That's what it was." He glanced over at Krieg as he felt his soul go haywire, though the kishin seemed to be okay so The Reaver didn't think much of it. He looked back at Ellise. "Oh yeah?" he asked, trying to steer her away from the difficult questions. "If you sensed those guys coming I'd think you would have tried to avoid becoming a wooden pin-cushion."

"I didn't know you cared." Ellise teased before glancing at Krieg as well. She wasn't sure if she should trust him due to how haywire he was. She groaned in annoyance when The Reaver spoke again "I was going to create a barrier but you grabbed me before I could do that."

Ellise's expression turned serious as she stared at The Reaver, then she frowned. "I don't get you... you seem like you are hiding stuff and then act like this when I try and guess. If you are so annoyed by it, then just tell me what you are hiding then." she said. Shira glanced at them as she sat in a chair and waited for the group that was supposed to pick her up. Obviously the two had quite a past together. She wasn't sure what it was like though.
