Nahm followed the reaper mascot's retreat, not letting it get out of his reach, and landed a solid punch to its chest as it slashed at him again.

All the mascots smelled the same. That made sense, because they were all made of shadows. Chaya launched herself at one of them, her claws gathering a bloody red glow, and hit it with a snarl. She didn't mind that it bit back; this was a fight, after all.

The next smack sent her skidding away again. Chaya growled, frustrated. She could get more solid so she didn't go flying so easily, but if she did that it would be easier for the monster to hit her.

She struggled with the shadow-chimera, clawing at the paws holding her down. She could feel her solidity wavering. If she couldn't get out from under its claws, she was going to dissipate.

It wouldn't take many more steps for the tatzel to come face to face with West again. The boil clearly emitted the same happy (or the equivalent) expression of Levi; the battle must've gone well. Arms folded at her back, the ghoul's tail came up and swirled by her right shoulder where she patted at some specks of dirt left over from her rolling around on the ground. It was more of a confident grooming than one of care for personal appearance. Eyes went from her task back to West with a nonchalant demeanor and tone for her greeting. So no dissipatin' I see. Reckon that's a good sign. No nicks 'er nudges on ya?Left hand reaching out, the tatzel loosely took up West's left, turning it over as if to inspect damages before moving to release it. As expected, boil. The words she said herself would break her own attempt at being devil-may-care; a smile appeared on her face right then.

Sin was pretty miffed at this entire ordeal, she had the lingering suspicion that the administration had somehow devised this entire event just to take demon pride down a peg. Well she was still proud, she was just pissed and proud, how could the demons, the best of the best be in...last? It was utterly humiliating and to add insult to injury she stood in the battle arena eager and ready to kick a** on one of the other teams mascots only to have the demon mascot swoop in and attack her! Jack damn it!
She cringed as it raked her arm and then raised her other hand to drag her own growing nails along it's wing. Maybe that would hamper it a little, or not...she rolled out of the way as it came swooping back.

She might have been prouder of the speed and viciousness of her mascot, had she not been the one under it's onslaught of attacks. The wings beat against her and she finally scrambled up from her roll. She grinned and shoved the ground with her hands flipping her legs up to horse kick the mascot grinning as hr kick landed solidly. She swung around and stood at the ready for it's next move.
