“Well, a fake king showed up and took the Black King’s heart.” A pause. “But then he got it back…” Silent displeasure that he tried to hide behind Poke’s head. “The Red King and Violet King wanted me to put it back, so I did. Reluctantly.” Wilson muttered the last part to his queen before calmly smiling at Zephyr. “Other than what I said earlier, you didn’t miss much. I promise.”

He narrowed his eyes at the newcomers. Taking in her animal ears, he said slowly, “You are…from green…?”

Needing to take a breather, Wyng decided it would be better to return to the ruins.

"...!" Moon's expression lit up as those cold blue eyed opened. Relief flooded through her, but she resisted any further actions due to pure emotion. They weren't needed here. "The False King stole your heart, my Lord, for challenging him. Someone reclaimed it and another gave it back to you." She summed up for him as simply as she could, her claws tightening on his for a brief moment. "I'm afraid I can't tell you who returned it to your body though...not unless you ask me to give you a name, anyway." There, White King, she was half-keeping the promise she never really made in the first place.

If anyone else ratted him out though, well, that wasn't her problem.

Ryan snorted. "You sound really torn up about it too." He added. Sarcasm evident in his tone. Ryan personally didn't know the black king, but what he did know was that Wilson didn't get along with him. The fact that he ended up helping him almost made Ryan laugh at him. But a quick punch to the arm and he sobered up.

"Definitely, I'm glad to see everyone is doing well and--"

"--Mmph!" Was the first thing he said when Eva squished his cheeks.

He remembered her alright. Though it looked as though she had yet to learn personal boundaries. Oh well, she was kind enough that he let it slide. "I remember you too. Been well, I trust?" He asked, pulling her hands from his cheeks so that he could speak better.

She didn't remove her hands from Ryan's cheeks even when the King addressed her, simply glancing over at him and grinning. "That's right! Pleasure to see you, your highness~"

When Eva finally did let go, it was only because the boy had grabbed her hands and pulled them back. Laughing, she bobbed her head in a nod, lips spreading into a wide grin. "Yes! Or, er...pretty well, I suppose! I didn't expect to see all this upon walking in here, but besides that..."

Letting her hands drop, she propped them up on her hips and leaned forward. "So? How have you been?"

Xiu stared at Ryan for a brief moment, and then turned to look at Wilson with a grin.

"I like him."

He was at least sitting up by this point, and relatively out of the way of the rampaging dragon, though now and again someone flew overhead from the sweep of its tail. It wasn't particularly out of the ordinary background activity for a King. With his free hand he patted at the place that he could have sworn had been nothing but a clawed-up crater the last time he'd seen (and felt) it. It seemed to have smoothed over. Whatever someone had done, they'd done it right... Still... "No matter."

"My vengeance and my crown are at stake. I must return to the battle," he explained to Moon, dutifully. "But..."

"Thank you." With one hand he leaned her face in close to his, and pressed his lips to hers behind the curtain of her hair. A few murmured words as they parted, an echo of the times before when he had whispered much the same to her. "What would I do without you?"

He made a motion as if to get up, but leaned heavily on his Queen instead. He didn't have the strength left. The colorful buzzards moved in for the kill.

"Why don't you come a little closer and say that again," he growled at the small gathering of enemy kings and courts, with his eyes particularly upon Ryan.

The White King snickered, covering it with his fist and obviously fake coughing.
