Adrian chuckled. "Don't worry.. though I can say I'm no angel like that other guy who looks after the witch sisters," referring to the television series that was really big at that time. He lightly touched the scratches and saw them heal though the thin trickles of blood were left behind.

Looking down at her arms as she listened to Adrian talking. "I guess, though you're still really amazing." she said as she watched the scratches fade away. "I'll just wash my arms off and then no one will know about this little thing happening. Well, we will, but no one else will." she said as she went to wash her arms off. 'I am going to need to use the bathroom... So would it be all right if you go? A girl needs her privacy... I hope you understand?' she thought, looking Adrian right in his eyes.

Adrian shrugged one shoulder as he half turned towards the door. "Don't worry," he said with a small smile as he walked out of the bathroom, closing the door behind him as he didn't seem to mind at all.

Lillian nodded at Adrian as she saw him closing the door behind him. She took a quick shower, washing her hair with her favorite cherry blossom scented shampoo. She wondered if she could talk to Adrian for a while before she went to bed, so she rung as much water from her hair as she could, got dressed in a t-shirt and shorts before wrapping her fuzzy lavendar colored bathrobe around her before heading to Adrian's room; however, she made sure that no one saw her or there might be a problem if someone saw her going to a guy's room dressed in what looked like only a bathrobe and cute bunny slippers. "Adrian, you awake?" she asked as she knocked softly at the door.

Adrian was wearing black sweat pants that were fixed with bandages that held them closed to his calves and was shirtless, balanced on his hands before he spoke. "Yeah; sometimes it's tough for me to get to sleep at night, so I try to burn off as much energy as possible," he said as he shifted his weight and twisted from the handstand into a cartwheel before landing on the balls of his bare feet.

Hearing that Adrian was still awake Lillian took that as the OK to walk into the room. "I know how that is, though I usually just read or think about my swim meets that I am going to be going to, though I don't do that as much anymore. I tend to get onto my laptop and talk to the friends that I have. Although they're always the ones doing the talking and I end up passing out while they blab about their lives..." she said, laughing at how dumb she realised it was for her to talk to those so called friends that bore her to the point of passing out. She walked to the bed and she sat down and she asked if there was anything that Adrian might want to talk about to pass the time until the both of them got tired.

Adrian tilted his head thoughtfully. "I haven't read many books, to be honest. I have found some interesting animals in the woods not too far from where we met Ivory and her husband earlier... there's a family of foxes that are an unusual pale silver color that are remarkably friendly," he said with a faint smile.

Lillian looked at Adrian and patted the bed beside where she was sitting, offering him a place beside her. "I like foxes, though I don't know if they'd be all that friendly to me. I know that you say that they are, though I'd be strange to them... I wouldn't want to get them angry by trying to touch them or something crazy like that. I may be worrying over nothing, though I just had to say that... But if it's all right could I see them some time? And if you take me to see them I promise to keep them secret from anyone else. Since I don't think that it'd be a good idea to say that there are some rare sounding foxes. I wouldn't want to jeopardize their lives or anything." she said, rambling as if she'd known Adrian for years rather than the very short time that she'd actually known him.

Adrian cocked an eyebrow. "They're common if you know where to look," he said with a chuckle as he sat on the bed before he tapped his chin as if thinking. "Now that I think about it... there's a way to contact me if I'm not around," he said as he shifted his weight fluidly, rolling over to land on the other side of the bed as he half turned to the window which was cracked open. He whistled softly though it built to a sharp high tone before warbling slightly as it ended. It was silent for several minutes afterward before a low sound like wings flapping followed. The eagle landed on the windowsill, its deep amber-gold feathers flickering in the moonlight while its sapphire eyes seemed to glow in the dim light.

Lillian tilted her head some as she heard it be said that that type of fox was common if one knew where to look; she didn't much believe that, though she would never call Adrian a liar just because she'd not seen them for herself. She looked at Adrian curiously as she saw him tapping his chin before saying there was some way to contact him if he wasn't around. Raising an eyebrow she watched him walking over to the window before whistling. "What on earth..." she said softly in confusion, however, as her eyes stayed glued to the open window she saw a beautiful looking eagle landing on the windowsill. "You mean that if I can whistle like that I could call that there eagle to get a hold of you if you're not here?" she asked, biting her lip nervously, thinking of how long she might have to practice to whistle the same way that Adrian had done to call the eagle. She thought about suggesting that she try calling out to him with her thoughts. Yet she decided against it because she thought it a bit too risky, due the that chance someone else may hear her that might wish to do her harm.

Adrian shrugged one shoulder. "The first part and high note is enough to get Kōrai's attention," he said with a faint smile, well aware the warble was the hardest part of the tone. He had found the eaglet as a chick when it was still very young after a landslide had nearly decimated its home. There had never been any sign of her family, however.

Letting out a sigh of relief Lillian walked over to the window after getting up off the bed; which was way softer than her own. 'Of course that bed's softer than mine...' she thought, mentally grumbling to herself. "I could try, though I wouldn't want to just get her attention and then not really need her to get you for anything. Oh, should I get fish or something if I ask Kōrai for something? I wouldn't want to seem demanding or anything and I definitely don't want to seem ungrateful." She then thought, and very clearly at that, about getting one of those gloves used for eagles and other birds of prey, just in case she called and the eagle decided it wanted to land on her arm or something.

Adrian tilted his head slightly at her mental grumble, a faint smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "If you want to do that, I doubt she'd refuse," he said with amusement, carefully keeping his thoughts about the bed to himself. "She'd probably be very embarrassed at the thought," he sighed, admittedly forgetting momentarily there was a telepathic bond between him and Lillian. "As for the glove, I have a spare thick glove that works just as well; it's layered leather with birch bark in between with a layer of pinecone scales on top," he said with a faint smile.

Lillian looked at the eagle that was still perched on the windowsill and she smiled, thinking about running down to grab a fish, though she knew that even if she did the fish would be missed. Whether it be from the refrigerator or the prized fish pond out in the back yard, she knew that the fish would be missed; however, it suddenly occured to her to not get one of those, in her opinion, nasty Koi from the pond and give it to Kōrai for the simple reason that might encourage her to hunt there and she did not want to be the reason that her father's prized fish pond becomes empty. She happened to hear Adrian's thought as she was musing to herself. "What...???" she asked, the moment she heard his thought. Her face was confused because she only heard something about her being embarrassed at something. "Never mind..." she said, shaking her head before speaking again, "That sounds like it would be a good thing for me to have, though I would have to be sure that Daddy doesn't see it or he'll want to know why I have a glove like that. I couldn't tell him anything able Kōrai or he might try to catch her or something... I swear he's like that when people have certain animals that they shouldn't. Although, there was the time that he almost paid out the rear to get a Bengal Tiger cub... I don't get him sometimes, though that may have been something to do with those two creeps that came earlier..." she said, thinking that her father had acted strangely up until Brendon and Ryan were killed. Outside the room one of the maids, Linda, was listening to, well at least she was trying to listen to the conversation between Lillian and Adrian; for she knew that Lillian was not to be out of her room and in a guest's bedroom in the late hours of the night, especially if said guest was a guy. She took a note down and then scurried off knowing that she'd say something to Mr. Stacey in the morning before he left for work. As she left there was a distinct sound of scuffling feet outside the room as Linda headed away from the door and down the stairs that would probably give her away. "Huh...? Did you hear something out there in the hallway or was it me...?" Lillian asked, thinking that sleep was getting to her head and making her think that she was hearing things.

Adrian chuckled. "I wouldn't worry too much about her; she's a heck of a lot smarter than she often appears, right?" he said idly, glancing towards the golden harpy eagle who bobbed her head as if nodding. "Go on. We'll call if necessary," he said with a half smile. The eagle took flight almost immediately as he exhaled slowly, well aware that it was to hide a yawn. "Maybe you should head to your room... or if you prefer softer beds, you can take this one while I take the harder bed," he said quietly, not having heard anything. He had momentarily sensed something, but didn't comment on it.
