Lloyd sighed, unsure of what to say to that. Her touch however was comforting and he held her a bit closer. "I'm nervous, worried about you and the child. Besides the obvious, I want to be a good father. I don't want our child to grow up like I did."

"And you have every reason to be nervous." Lilith replies, giving Lloyd a quick kiss.
"Its not every day you knock up a high ranking paladin..." She adds jokingly.

He began to blush and turned away for a moment. "Not everyday I get anyone pregnant. I wonder what they are, a girl, a boy? A girl and a boy?" He said with awe and wonder. Heavens forbid she had both in there, one child would be enough!
"I'm glad if it was anyone, it was you, Lilith."

"As am I." Lilith stated, pausing for another quick but passionate kiss.
"Lets hope its just one for now. I don't think I could handle twins." Lilith rolled up her shirt to expose the bare skin of her plump middle. "Even with the crash course in baby handling we're getting thanks to Scarlett and Roxanne."

Lloyd couldn't help but kiss her sweet lips. For a Paladin, Lilith was a great kisser. "I can agree with you there, Lilith. I wouldn't know how to manage twins." He said as he watched the pregnant paladin reveal her bare belly to him. Every time he saw it, it made it a whole lot easier to accept the fact that he was now a father. He wrapped his arms around her, with one of them reaching for their unborn child.
"Hello in there, child of ours. Feels so strange to say that."

Lilith shrugs. "Talk all you like, I don't think babies form working ears until the fifth or sixth month."
She never quite understood why people did the baby voice when talking to children or pets but it brought the biggest smile to her face to see a full grown man and feared warrior talk in that voice to the unborn child growing in her belly.

Lloyd couldn't explain the feelings, but seeing her so happy made him happy. It also made him feel that this was all okay, that he didn't ruin Lilith's life by connecting her with his. She loved him, loved him enough to do this.
"You don't mind? It's silly, talking to your belly like that. And to be honest, I have no idea where that voice change came from..."
When did he start changing like this? It was practically overnight! He didn't even want to touch Scarlett in fear of hurting her by accident, but perhaps the calmness and blessings that surrounded Lilith with a Paladin's Light was all the difference.

"Of course its silly, thats what makes it entertaining." Lilith said, tousling Lloyd's hair as he pressed his cheek against her belly. Catching Scarlett's smile of approval over the blood kngiht's shoulder, Lilith gave the alchemist a nod.
"Trust me, that voice is in all of us and it will turn up again once the baby is born."

Lloyd was unaware that the two women in his life were grooming him to be a wonderful father behind his back. Heck, he didn't even notice the alchemist behind his back. He'd thank them eventually if he had known, for now he sighed happily at Lilith's touch. She soothed this once savage beast well.
"Yeah, lets hope you don't swell up to be as big as a house like Scarlett. The longer we can conceal this kid, the better in the long run." He replied as he patted her belly. Fighting in her condition, it would be up for debate soon.

"Oh come on, she wasn't that big..." Lilith said coming to the alchemist's defense. "Besides the bigger the belly the more healthy the baby will be." She didn't know if that was 100% true, but it made sense to her after seeing Scarlett through the final paces of her pregnancy.

"Yeah, that's what you think. At first she wouldn't stop reminding me about how much rounder she was getting. How was she going to push such a big child though a small space. If Roxanne was getting too big for her to do it." Lloyd began to chuckle, remembering the times Scarlett could be worrier. It was one of the traits he liked about her the most, mainly because it balanced out his inability to not worry when it came to most decisions in life.
"It was when I started making jokes did she stop worrying. Perhaps your right, and it was her being shorter to the ground than I am that made the apple seem bigger than she really was." He added, least Scarlett being the sweethart that she was made it easy for him to care for her, be it before, during and after her pregnancy.
"But if that's case Lilith, get as big as you can! Only strong children from the both of us are to be born! And I believe you could bear only but strong children." Said Lloyd to Lilith in his usual warrior tone and gave her a kiss on the cheek and a slap on the other kind of cheek.

Lilith laughed as Lloyd got into the moment and slapped her on the butt.
"We'll have to see how this one turns out before we start planning more." She replies, rubbing a hand up and down the surface of her belly. "And then there is going to be the temple to deal with. For all I know, their holy fury could burn me to a crisp before we get the chance at another."
Poking her belly button where it had begun to warp she added. "As long as the child is healthy and I remain semi-mobile, I don't care how big I get."

"Yeah, tell me about it." Lloyd sat down on the floor in front of Lilith with a sigh, her laughter did cheer him up some. Lilith seem to be okay with his more, perverse style of play now than when they first met. "They are not going to like this pregnancy business at all. More so if they ever found out you're carrying the child of the blood knight that ravaged armies."
His tilted some in the interest of her navel. Did that already begin so soon? That was quick. "I can agree to those terms. By then though, I don't think they make armor in that size. If possible, I'd like for us to stay here while you carry the child."

"Your origin and heritage shouldn't be a problem as long as you maintain your guise of being my squire." Lilith answered, slowly lowering herself to the ground before plopping herself in Lloyd's lap.
Lilith shrugs in indifference. "Eh, I'll be find without my armor for a couple months. The real trick will be fitting back into it once the baby is born... I mean just look how much Scarlett's breasts have grown in the past few months."
