Gertrude didn't feel comfortable taking any more miasma flowers. The five that she had were already doing a number to her body. Holding these flowers was like holding hot coals, but she didn't see any external effects on her body. It was weird. She felt it would be best to get the hell out of dodge, so she headed to Sector D.

There, she received another jolt of pain. "s**t, s**t, s**t, that hurts!" She panicked and tossed the flowers above her. Then, she freaked out and did a mad dash to grab them all up again. After she caught her breath, she sighed in relief and said, "Thank goodness."

This place looked safe. Safe in comparison to the last sectors, at least. There were some weird, colorful creatures around. Were they dragons or something? But they didn't pay her any mind. They just went on their way. Maybe they were the late King's pets? She had heard of stories of pets staying loyal to their master even after s/he died. They'd go to meet her/him and wait patiently for her/his return.
