Merrick groaned, his eyelids fluttering.
Kasumi sighed, but nodded. "True, fortunately I have plenty of experience to pass on," she said with a half smile; she knew if Amelia knew she was much older than she appeared, that she'd never be able to get the cunning witch elder to leave her alone. She was also well aware that her words would interest the other two witch elders as she hefted Merrick's arm over her shoulder and half dragged him to where Merida, Carolyn, and Constance were. "I know several that are old sensory spells that will come in handy, and a couple that can be used for communication needs," she said thoughtfully; she knew her return had complicated things, among other things as well.
Lorcán exhaled slowly as he stood, turning his back to Cassandra as he sensed a sudden burst of magical energy that sent a chill down his spine before he pulled off the loose shirt before stripping off his jeans; he knew it would likely surprise Cassandra to know he went commando more often than not.

"Good," Merida said with a nod as she watched Kasumi pick up her son. Merida moved to Constance, easily picking her up. "Let's get these two to rest and then the three of us should be able to handle the spells, right? If we need the others we'll get them. But I still don't think that Cassandra is up for it."~~~~ Cassandra's eyes widened slightly as Lorcan undressed to get into the tub. She was unaware that she was blushing even more. She had never seen a man naked before. She smiled a little as she looked away and rubbed some bubbles over her arms. It felt nice and it distracted her from her thoughts for a moment.

Kasumi giggled as she tilted her head. She exhaled, focusing her energy for a pulse of movement. She knew this method of transport, especially the first time, was disorienting and somewhat nauseating. The instant she released it, herself, Merida, and Carolyn as well as Constance and Merrick, vanished. They materialized in Constance's room, apparently having teleported there, which actually wasn't far off from the truth.
Lorcán shrugged as he slipped into the tub carefully. "It's funny how precious those close to us become, usually without even realizing it. You and I are one example, while Constance and Merida have a daughter-mother relationship even though I know neither of them would admit it out loud," he said wryly as he shivered slightly, feeling his muscles relaxing as he ran the soft washcloth down her arm.

Merida stumbled a little, nausea going through her before she caught herself. "Ugh, thanks Kasumi." She muttered as she gently lay Constance down on the bed. She had not expected that to happen and her head spun for a moment. She looked over to Carolyn who was bracing herself against a wall and she couldn't help but chuckle a little. She was glad she wasn't the only one feeling terrible. ~~~~~~ Cassandra smiled as Lorcan ran the washcloth over her arm. It also amazed her how quickly someone could become precious to you. She had seen the bond between Merida and Constance. Ever since she and Lorcan had admitted to each other how they felt, even though it hadn't been that long ago, she felt that he had become more precious to her. She reached forward and gently touched his face. "You..are very precious to me," she said softly. "I don't know what I would do if anything happened to you."

Kasumi shifted, sighing. "Sorry for the lack of warning, but once you get used to it, it's easier to manage; if you want, I can teach you an easier form of it that'll come in handy for striking at demons swiftly," she said sheepishly with a smile.
Lorcán exhaled slowly, tilting his head slightly against Cassandra's hand. "The demons will find it difficult to sneak up on me most of all, since even if they were able to cloak themselves from physical sight, there are some things that can't be hidden regardless of a physical cloak or disguise," he said with amusement as he gently ran the cloth back up her arm, shifting it under her arm and moving it along the underside of her arm before he spoke. "Frankly, I'll admit, 'Damon' had good taste in women to choose you, though he's pretty stupid when it comes to a method of getting them. Kidnapping only succeeds in pissing someone off... if you're lucky," he said quietly.

"I think that would be a good idea," Merida said with a nod. She turned her gaze to Carolyn. "You okay over there Carolyn?"
"Oh yeah, just peachy," Carolyn murmured as she looked up at them. ~~~~~~~~ Cassandra shifted her arm as Lorcan cleaned underneath her arm. "Yeah his methods do suck," she said softly as she watched Lorcan with a small smile still on her face. She really liked how close they were at the moment, that they were able to have an easy conversation. "Yeah, being the son of the oldest demon around obviously didnt help him in the smarts department," she chuckled.

Kasumi giggled as she tilted her head, flickering out of sight before she materialized just behind Carolyn. "Great," she said right next to her deliberately to startle her. She glanced to the side, noticing the bathroom door was open just in case they needed it for... other reasons.
Lorcán chuckled. "He probably inherited his ego and probably a certain 'small' problem," he said wryly, half teasing her as he ran the soft cloth down her side beneath the water, not-so-subtly referring to the demon's 'manhood' (or would that be 'demonhood'? lol).

Carolyn jumped and groaned. "Are you trying to make me get sick? Because I promise you'll be the one I will get sick on." She was actually feeling better already, thank goodness. Merida chuckled as she shook her head. "Now wouldnt' that be a sight?"~~~~~ Cassandra laughed softly at Lorcan's not too subtle comment about the demon man's manhood. "I am sure that is only one of his many problems." She jumped a little when Lorcan ran the cloth down her side and she giggled softly. "Sorry, a little ticklish there."

Kasumi cocked an eyebrow. "You'd be surprised how flexible with movement I can be," she said with a teasing tone in her voice, deliberately making it seem as if she were coming onto the witch elder mainly to see if she'd squirm.
Lorcán ran the cloth over her abdomen, idly noticing that it was fairly toned as he shifted it up towards her breasts. "We all have ticklish spots, trust me," he said with amusement. He gently kissed her as he did so, though he pulled back after a couple of seconds.

Carolyn looked at Kasumi calmly. "Sorry honey, you're not exactly my type." She smiled sweetly at her. She knew that Kasumi was trying to make her squirm, but what the other witch didn't know was that Carolyn swung both ways. Merida laughed softly as she sat down in the chair. She was aware of Carolyn's lifestyle. She wasn't sure if everyone was though. ~~~~ Cassandra's eyes closed as they kissed and when Lorcan pulled away her eyes fluttered back open. She smiled at him, her head tilted to the side slightly. "And where are yours," she asked with amusement as she ran a hand lightly of Lorcan's chest.

Merrick's eyes fluttered before opening slowly. "Anybody get the name on the baseball bat that busted against my chest?" he groaned as he sat up slowly.
Kasumi cocked an eyebrow, a faint smile flashing over her face. "Oh really?" she said with amusement as she heard Merrick groan again. She heard his words and cocked her head as she turned towards him, one of her tails slipping out and moving up Carolyn's back under her shirt.
Lorcán cocked an eyebrow before he shivered slightly, inhaling slowly as her fingers got near his upper abdomen. Few knew that he was ticklish there and he didn't often mention it. "Some places you might not expect," he said quietly, forcing back a slight breathiness to his voice as the soft washcloth slipped from his fingers beneath the water and landed between them.

"Really, now keep your tails to yourself," Carolyn growled as she swatted at Kasumi's tail that was going under her shirt. Merida turned her gaze to Merrick. "Yeah, that baseball bat is burnt to the ground." She grinned at him. "And you need to rest. You and Constance used a lot of magic." She inclined her head over to Constance who was still passed out on the bed. ~~~~~ "Hmm, well I guess I will just have to figure them out over time." Cassandra chuckled as she ran her hand further up his chest, running over his upper abdomen. "So far you are ahead of the game since you already know one of mine." Her eyes twinkled as she watched him.

Merrick blinked, his dark teal eyes widening fractionally as the same symbol flickered in his eyes for a couple of seconds before vanishing. Kasumi snickered as she let her tail slip out as she tilted her head, pouting slightly. "You're no fun," she said in a childlike tone before she laughed on purpose. "I noticed you have a strong lightning affinity and possibly a light based affinity as well, which would make demons vulnerable. I will tell you that every element has its counterpart that it's weak against. Wind, for example, if it's strong enough, can overcome fire, though usually it only amplifies it," she said with a shrug. Lorcán tilted his head, forcing his breathing back under control as well as another part that had started to make itself known. He tilted his head thoughtfully as his hand rose to her breasts before he realized the cloth wasn't in his hand. His eyes dropped for a second as he realized it as his hand palmed her.

Carolyn rolled her eyes when Kasumi said she was no fun. "There are children in the room," she stuck her tongue out at the other witch. "Hmm, so what element is opposed to mine?" She was definitely getting a little less stuffy and a little more playful. "Hey guys," Merida said as she looked between Kasumi and and Carolyn. "Let's let them get some rest, okay?" She moved towards the door. ~~~~~ Cassandra's eyes dropped to Lorcan's hand and then back to his face. She smiled softly at him. "Hey, don't look so shocked," she said softly. "It's okay." And she wasn't just saying that, she really did mean it.

Merrick exhaled as he sat on the bed. "I would think that earth would be, since it's a natural insulator," he said dryly as he laid on the bed, not bothering to move the covers though he took off the scorched shirt he'd been wearing with a slight grimace.
Kasumi tilted her head, surprised Merrick had gotten it right. "He's right about your electrical affinity, though for light it's one of the more obscure and difficult elements to master: chaos. I've only heard of one being that mastered that, and it was a demonic knight that gave his life... strangely enough, to protect humanity," she said quietly as she turned towards the door to let the younger witches get some rest.
Lorcán inhaled slowly, his thumb stroking slowly over her breast. His other hand dipped under the water, managing to find the washcloth he'd accidentally dropped before he stroked it gently over her breasts. "It's just the only other women, frankly, that I'm close to would be Merida and Kasumi, and if I'm being honest, I look at them more like sisters," he said. The unspoken words 'unlike you' echoed between them, though he didn't say them out loud. He could feel his body tightening down low not only at her soft smile, but also at her gentle and friendly personality.
