Can an upgrade rp happen on a homeworld?
Also, just a idea to explore - what if there is an secret order of Senshi based on a certain or several ancient cultures of the Earth?
An upgrade RP is able to happen anywhere you'd like it to! However, if the character is a senshi they will have to have a guardian cat to upgrade them! Or for a Knight they just have to show they are in need of more power or they can complete a ritual to upgrade on their wonder!
As far as your idea for secret order of senshi - this would be better submitted as a player driven plot if you wish to form a court around this idea. Please keep in mind that would have to be a modern day secret order / an order from the past being revived in present day since all senshi are awakened by the same rules!

Can Bonded Senshi and guardian cats senshi each other when powered up?
If they can, what is the range?
If the cat and senshi are bonded, they would have a more impactful bond and be able to sense each other for up to about two miles apart. However, if the bonded partner is in danger the other might be able feel a strange pull in the direction they are in.

What's the current policy about posting for other people's front page icon updates? I don't mean 'this art just dropped', i mean 'character has been played at X stage with X art, but player has never posted for icon update, so they're shown as Y stage with Y art' or 'character's icon is updated but in the wrong location'. We welcome players letting Staff know about discrepancies both on the front page and in the Master Character List. We rely heavily on players to inform us when a character has reached a certain stage and if it is not posted for an Icon, it can be missed when updating the front page.
Before submitting anything, please do double check that the player of said character has not posted for an Icon. However, if you notice a wrong link, an icon that hasn't been updated or is in the wrong place, please do let us know by sending a PM to the mule with the updated information or corrected link!
For the Master List, we welcome anyone to post using This thread. We just ask that you please double check that the player has not already done so or that the growth was not recently acquired

As youma hate senshi, even corrupted ones, does this property extend to half-youma or full youma (i.e. Cinnabar, Wolfeite, Bazzite, Iolanthe)?
A Half-Youma still retains the mind of the human they were before, so it is up to the player to choose how powerful the youma urges might be. Some half-youma may choose to have their character heavily influenced by the will of the youma but this is up to the player. Otherwise, it should be expected that half-youma are unaffected by the youma bias against senshi.
For Full PC Owned Youma, this is up to the player as well. Officially acquired, PC owned youma traditionally have some form of a plot behind their transformation. They are far more susceptible to they youma bias of senshi than a half-youma, but PC youma are more powerful than the general youma populace. The player is expected to understand that youma have a bias against senshi, but the plot that youmafied their character may have their character feeling slightly differently than is normally expected.
The general npc youma populace/disposable youma will all have a bias against senshi.

If an officer has a youma implant (like a youma eye for example) and then purifies, what happens to the implant? Does it remain or keep its unique properties?
Should an Officer purify, they will completely lose any youma implants and the properties or abilities that came with the implants. Think of these as Nega-specific prosthetics; they are given to an Agent and work in tandem with the Chaos inside of them. Without the Chaos, there is no bond to hold them together and the magic from a fourth stage during a purification would completely burn out the youma.
This method only works for implants/'prosthetics'—if an Agent has partially youmafied, it means that their starseed has been affected and the bond is too powerful to remove. If an Agent has a small youma implant designed to replace a missing organ or limb, such as an eye or a hand, the purification simply burns all traces, leaving the then-purified agent with only their natural body.

When and where was it that Cosmos lost her humanity/traces of her human self? That she no longer lived on earth?
It's been stated that no one can live off earth and as Cosmos would still be subjected to that as powering up does not change the physiology of the senshi, how is she surviving without food/water/social interaction?
Cosmos is not an ordinary Senshi; she is a Meta character and a Phenomenal Cosmic Power so she is not restricted by the rules that traditional senshi are held to. Her major priority and duty is to protect the Galaxy Cauldron. Unlike other Senshi, she does not have a homeworld or Wonder that he draws her power from. Instead, she receives her energy directly from the Cauldron—the source of all life. While Cosmos' title is 'Sailor Cosmos', she is not a typical senshi and has the incredibly important, one of a kind role as protector of the Cauldron.
Because she is the Guardian of the Cauldron, she needs to be at the Cauldron to perform her duty. Additionally, she is simply too powerful to remain on Earth for extended periods of time. If she stayed on Earth, this would severely impact the story—including the importance of Knights and Senshi defending Earth while also unfairly crippling the forces of Chaos.
While she used to be Sidra Winters, Sidra was Sailor Nova/Senshi of Stars. That identity was abandoned when the powers of Cosmos were thrust upon her. OOCly, Sidra was a personal character, but Cosmos is an NPC. ICly, Cosmos is a cosmic entity, not a human. She does not have normal human needs: she does not eat or sleep, and her body will not get sick or age for as long as she and the Cauldron are connected.
Since Cosmos awakened, she has been living at the Cauldron for several years now.

I am wondering about the Emblem thread, in the OOC thread. Is anyone running it? People are using it like there is no tomorrow, however the front page hasn't been updated for about a year or more. If help is needed, I couldn't create, but I could help organize, store and put up?
Thank you for the offer, but we may revise the thread soon! The thread is a few years old and was originally set up by a player for the shop; previously the staff did not have an extensive hand in managing it, but we may make a new thread with updated icons and task someone to keep it updated!

Is the sphere of Falcons different enough from Falconry to be legal?
I have an accepted character name Kakure Mae, who had a negaverse alias; the mineral name was claimed (accepted and received art for) before I could. If I wanted to use her accepted human quest and decided I want to make her a Sailor Scout instead, what would I do?
Unless the sphere is listed on the Locked List or Master List, players are welcome to present nearly anything as a quest so long as it meets the guidelines. However, Staff does reserve the right to deem something too close or unavailable as a sphere/power source during the stamping or critting process. There are many factors that come into play when determining the feasibility of a Sphere and each quest is taken on a case-by-case bases. In the specific instance of Falcons, this sphere should focus on the bird rather than the hunting of wild prey using a trained bird—so as long as it doesn't come too close to Falconry's attacks, or any other bird senshi's attacks, it should be usable!
If you have questions on specifics, then please feel free to PM the mule. We will be happy to help you!
For your quest, to switch from the character profile to a different powered faction, you will need to submit a new powered profile for Crit/Stamp. You will not need to resubmit her Civilian form so long as she fits the guidelines for being a senshi already (mainly, her age must be between 14 to 20 years).

Is it possible for a past life species to have had functional wings/etc. in the past, but for them to have been bred out/lost in evolution/etc. well before the last past life of our characters? For example, would it have been possible for the past life race of Senshi Doofus to have had wings long ago, but they were lost through evolution or became non-fuctional centuries before the most recent life of Senshi Doofus before their modern one?
It would be possible that in the very distant past, the species of the past life could have had functional tails and wings. However, it wold be so long ago that the more current past life characters would not have been affected by them. For example, your character could have a legend passed down of a time when their ancestors could fly or swing by their tails, however there would not be a way for the character to do this anymore. Evolution, breeding, changes in the planet, or any number of reason you may like has made those features long obsolete.

As there are Knights that awaken outside of Destiny City (who are almost immediately corrupted or killed, I believe), does this involve Knights for PC Royals?
i.e: Outside of Destiny City, do Castor and Polaris Knights ever awaken, or is it the proximity to their Royal that wakes them up?
It is possible for Knights and Senshi to be awakened outside of Destiny City, though the awakening process remains the same: a knight's weapon appears to them and they awaken themselves, and a senshi needs to be awakened by a cat. PC Royals can have knights that awaken outside of Destiny City, but the Negaverse has a tight hold of the world outside of Destiny City so any new powered characters would immediately be targeted as a quick and easy kill.
However, as it is possible for your character to awaken outside of Destiny City, provided you have a plot you send to the mule so we can go over it or give you any additional information you may need to know. It is important to remember that powered characters cannot be actively played outside of Destiny City without a plot, and your character cannot awaken more than two weeks before arriving at Destiny City. You have a two week window to backdate RPs ICly from when you start playing the character/receive their art, but after that they must be a permanent resident of Destiny City. They should not enter DC knowing much of the powered world outside of the city and so should arrive almost entirely fresh/new to the war!

TIME FOR QUESTIONS ABOUT FOURTH-STAGE CHARACTERS HOO BOY
1. Is it possible for fourth-stage characters to swap sides? Could Dark Mirror Princess Leto ever theoretically be purified into Princess Leto, or Prince Castor corrupt into Corrupt Prince Castor? 2. Presuming the above is true, would it require the sideswap to be willing, or would it require Queen Laurelite for a corruption / Sailor Cosmos for a purification? 3. In the Dystopian Future, there were Corrupt Royals; where were they drawing their power from? The same with DM Royals -- where are they obtaining their royal crystal from? 4. AND THIS ISN'T TECHNICALLY RELATED, BUT: if a Transcended was willing to be corrupted, would it be possible, or does Transcendence completely remove the capability of Chaos-aligned characters to touch the starseed?
1. It would be possible for a fourth stage to switch sides. However, this would require both a strong OOC reasoning as well as a strong IC plot. There would also be heavy IC complications resulting from the side swap, and the fourth stage character wouldn't have access to the stage or powers for a while. These could be re-earned, but would require a plot to explain how they earned the power back, as well as a set cooldown time before they could access the stage again. This is not something staff will easily approve and should not be pursued unless the player is very serious about it and is prepared to do massive work to make it happen. There are severe issues with characters who have double side swapped, so if a fourth stage character has swapped sides once already then they may not be able to retain fourth stage at all if they swap again.
2. This is something that would be addressed with the player should a fourth stage side swap ever be requested. Cosmos or Laurelite could be expected to have some involvement, but we'll see what happens if someone ever suggests a plot!
3. A Corrupt Senshi still holds connects to their homeworld, though they are no longer able to visit or gain past life memories. The homeorld will only really die if the Senshi ascends; because of this, they still draw their power from the homeworld's core. For a DMC, their power is also still coming from their homeworld. The coating over their starseed just changes the form they are taking; their planet is not dead. Even when corrupted, a Senshi still has ties to their homeworld, but because the Senshi is corrupted it simply manifests in another manner.
4. At the time, there is no means for a Transcended to corrupt in any form. In general, if you have any hope to corrupt a character, we ask that you do not go forth with a transcendence plot. If a player who has Transcended finds themselves unable to play their character, the staff will work with them as much as possible. We may be able to determine a method for these players, but to even request corruption for a Transcended character, a player must have attempted to play their character as Transcended and have clear reasons for wanting to corrupt them. Though still in a hypothetical stage, in all likelihood, a character would have to be willing to corrupt, as you cannot be forcibly corrupted while Transcended.

When a Crown token link is counted as finished, that means wrapped up, correct? I ask because does that mean complete in that it's over 800 words per player and officially wrapped up, or complete in it's 800 words per player but never officially ended?
If it has to be officially wrapped up, would that mean that you could just go back and dig up old rps just to wrap them up just to get a token for that month?
For an RP to be counted as a finished RP for the month, that RP must be completely finished. This means the claiming player has posted at least five hundred words and that the roleplay has a clear ending post. You may close any roleplay, regardless of how old it is, and use it towards a crown token as long as the ending post occurs in the month you are claiming for.
One of the main goals for Crown Tokens is to encourage RP, and this also includes finishing open roleplays. Even if the roleplay was started a year ago, if the closing post is in this month it could still be claimed.

The question came up in chat and I thought it would be good to have it somewhere everyone could see it:
How much personal/civilian information does the Negaverse know about it's agents? (such as name, address, next of kin, where they work, etc)
It should be assumed by the player that the Negaverse has access to basic (and some private) information about the character in question. It should be assumed that any information one would have ever filled out on a form would be generally known to the Negaverse—name, address, place of employment, next of kin, SSN, medical records, insurance, income, schooling, tax returns, warrants/arrests/criminal charges, etc.
This information would be stored in the Negaverse database, however this same information should not come into play without the player's consent. For anyone to access this information, they would need proper authorization (ICly) and OOC permission to do so. It should be expected that a General might be able to get access with good reason, but this access would not be commonly shared with a Captain and a Lieutenant would almost never be given access.
ICly, a Negaverse agent might not be aware of how much information about them is collected, and generally the information that is collected never comes into play.

since laurelite became queen and is still available for roleplay, i had a few questions regarding how people can solicit rps with her.
in her npc journal, it states that one should consider if she is the best fit for a roleplay, as many of the general-sovereigns can serve the same purpose, but can you please cite examples of roleplays where it would be acceptable to use laurelite specifically? would these primarily involve conflict resolution between a player character and one of the existing general-sovereigns, or?
These are generally handled on a case-by-case basis and there are no static specifics detailing what and when would be appropriate to request RP with Laurelite. In some current instances, Laurelite was scheduled to be involved in roleplays before she became Queen and due to either an existing relationship or a role in plots, she is still the best candidate.
The major role Laurelite now plays is to ensure that the General Sovereigns remain in-check. She exists to act as a buffer in case the General Sovereigns butt heads or over step boundaries.
Laurelite might also be involved in approved cross-branch programs, large meetings, or over see major activities in the General Operatives Branch.
Rather than say what would be approved, it is easier to say that Laurelite would not be involved in general punishment RPs, battle RPs, civilian RPs, promotion RPs, or basic meet-and-greet or question and answer RPs. If requesting and RP with Laurelite since the time of her promotion, there should be a specific reason why the General Sovereigns cannot be used (as ICly, they are far more accessible to the general body of the Negaverse)

I'm hoping to do my upgrade of Etamin to Super on his homeworld (don't have any details, have requested assistance with plot), this the first time he's gone to his homeworld, but I'm wondering about the people he'll take. He'll need a Cat. He has two really good friends, (a Chibi Super, and a regular Scout) and he has his twin sister that has just reappeared in his life after four years (due to mundane plane accident) and has recently awoken as a Sailor Scout.
I know there is a limit on how many can go to a senshi's homeworld at one time, but I'm confused about the wording of cats 'piggy-backing' ? Could you explain it a llittle clearer?
When traveling to a homeworld or wonder, the easiest way to consider how many people one can bring is to think of it as one person per rank. A Regular stage Senshi or Page would only be able to bring one person with them, where as an Eternal or Knight would be able to bring three before becoming too exhausted. This can vary some from person to person as a character who has traveled often to their homeworld could potentially be able to take an additional character with them as they would know the limits the travel has on their body and have time to become used to the strain of travel.
A cat is unable to travel to worlds or wonders by themselves. Mauvians all share a homeworld (Mau) but cannot access it so the only way that a Mauvian can travel is if they are catching a ride with a senshi or knight visiting their own homeworld/wonder. A Bonded Mauvian may find or create an item that allows them to travel to their Bonded Senshi's homeworld, but can only travel to the Senshi's homeworld and must remain bonded with the Senshi to access that ability. Mauvians do not immediately have the ability to teleport, so they must 'piggyback' on someone else to get a ride. Due to their size, they do not drain as much energy as a human would when being teleported so a character is able to bring a cat along with a guest and not be overly exhausted. However, they would still be more tired than if they only brought a single person with them.
Exceptions to the number of people a person brings are made on a case by case bases and normally have to do with a large scale event open to the shop. Staff is always happy to review plots when someone has a plot that requires a large group to travel to someone's homeworld, but it often needs an explanation. These always need staff approval! The more a character visits their homeworld and establishes a bond, and the higher rank they are, can be key factors when staff is considering approving one of these requests!
