Well, the rp's relatively slow right now, so a post here and there will go a long way. If it gets too much though, you know you can always stop and pick back whenever you'd like. whee Just call me Kylan I feel like I just am going to copy the Movie in a way. 'Found you!' The stupid smiles Sif and the Warriors Three gave Thor kill me every time. That's definitely my favorite part of that movie. All of their dopey grins. XD So good. So, for reference, this is Thor's first time on Midgard as well?

I just made a post. I couldn't really resist. My previous posts were made a few days or even weeks before my most recent post in the timeline of the rp. I figured since my character was a few weeks behind in the story line that it would make sense for him to be somewhere else at the present timeline other than where he'd been.

First time in his true God Form. His memories as Donald Blake come few and far between. Everything is basically new to him, give or take a few things here and there. That is now my new signature.

Let me know what you think of that history sample whenever you get the chance.

Fully understood. Mine is a slight re-imagining of Thor's history. I've kind've merged comic origin with Movie origin. Comic book being him being banished more than once, with the first being somewhere in Scandinavia in the older eras, and the last time being as Donald Blake after Frost Giants infiltrated Asgard. It's up to you whether or not Sif had tagged along =p. I have such a hard time with how to word his sentences though lol.

Ya, I have a hard time as well. I haven't had much practice in playing an Asgardian- I'm kinda just winging it. >_>' As for her background and Midgardian affairs, my Sif's been on Asgard for most of her life. I'm sure there were a few rough and tough adventures to Jotunheim among other things, but mostly, she stayed within the confines of the kingdom.

I try to do that too, but then I realize Sif's been adapting to the culture for the past few months, so I've toned it down a slight bit, made her less confused and such. As for the Loki business, the RP right now is going off of a profile someone submitted and played in the old thread. Basically, Loki wasn't banished, he died or has been for quite sometime. He resurrected a year or so ago (I believe) on Midgard as a 13- yrs old boy without knowledge of his past life or even his earthly one*. Kinda like the newer Marvel arc in the comics. He made his way as a pickpocket and scrapped by. *He's recently come back into his shapeshifting abilities, however, and appears to be a 20 something individual, like the movie.Anyway, Odin recently got wind of this through seers, claiming the Trickster's return. Given there was no evidence nor word from Hela, he speculated it was merely a trick. However, at the time, Midgard had some extremely messed up energy spikes and portal activity via Mephstio's realm (that's why Sif teleported to Johnny rather than Hel, because of the unstable energy still lurking about.) Anyway, all this in mind, he sent Sif to investigate. She found him, they talked and she realized he might be telling the truth, and might have afresh start, so rather sending him back to face retribution for his past sins and potentially send him down the same road, she's kept him on Midgard to give him a chance at a new life. However, he evaded her in between the arcs and she's just now found his trail again. I also don't think Sif's had contact in Asgard since then either, so I was under the impression no one really knew Loki was found but that he could potentially be found. Anyway, I just wanted to clear that up since Thor mentioned banishing. I should have brought this up before, but again, he wasn't really my character to play. Stray and I are making him an npc though for the sake of an arc and such, so we just adapted what we had and are rolling with it. XP However, rather than editing or retconning anything, we can just chalk Thor's knowledge of Loki being here to their 'brotherly bond' or something. Six sense of sorts perhaps.

That's not a problem. I can get around to editing the post a bit. And I did read a bit on the older thread. I moreover meant that to go in the direction of Thor recalling his knowledge of not being able to return to Asgard when he was first banished, back with the time just before the Vikings sprung up. Asgardian speech is hard, I just tried to add a layer or two of meaning to the sentence lol. I edit the post so freaking much that I get lost in my own story. I'll take extra time to clean it up. I simply went with the assumption that the Gatekeeper had seen Loki, as that is what Heimdall's talent is, and went from there, Keeping it a secret in order to keep Thor from doing something reckless. Since we all know Thor :3 The whole brotherly bond idea works though. Gods are strange. There's also the fact that, since I don't know how Loki died, I can safely adapt that Thor was merely not told, to save him from suffering and the like.

Like I said, no editing needs to be done at all, I just wanted to clarify for future reference since I assume this will be a focal point of our character. I like the idea of Thor's feelings being spared too. That's a nice angle, especially with his concerns of Odin treating him like a child. This could be why he chose Sif o share in this intel and not Thor. She's not particularly fond of Loki. At all. >.> Ya, this was my own issue. Whenever there's a history between characters, I like to establish it just to help out my own confusion- I'm kinda flighty and forget things so having a reference to fall back on in the ooc or PMs helps out. Sorry to drag ya into it. >_<' Anyway, I'm gonna quit gabbin' here and get to my Sif post. XD'

One of my big flaws with my characters is that I develop their past as I go along, so things change constantly. I could probably sit down and write out an entire post that simply explained his past, but in a week I'll think of something that'll fit better or something along those lines. It's also why I stick to one character in my other RPs.
