Travis stared concernedly at the catgirl after helping her onto the sofa. "You're definitely one of the biggest out of all of us," he said. "We might not have any shortage of kittens here--well, if that's what they turn out to be." He laughed, but thought to himself that it might not be so bad. The mother was cute, after all.

Sharon sighed as she walked down one of the paths a small frown on her face she was already holding a little girl in her arms and her stomach was bulging with obvious signs of pregnancy she sighed as she sat down in front of her so called home and rocked her little baby softly as she started to sing a lullaby

Lana hear the note of frustration and frowned. Did she offend him? She didn't men to....
"The foods good and I guess having a tails not so bad. Though, even though the tubs big, it's still not a place to swim..." she trailed off. "About the tank thing." she stated abruptly. "It's not that it's a bad idea. I just don't want a bunch of strangers to stare at me little I'm some animal in a zoo.... It was a good idea.... Maybe if you covered it with curtains...." she trailed of trying to make him feel better. She wanted to please him oddly enough.

"Only 4? I thought for sure there were more..." Alfina remarked, settling her hands on her belly. "Well... I don't think I'll be getting much larger than this before I give birth..." She said, wondering when or if she would even give birth.

Travis shrugged. "Maybe some are hiding in there. You do look really full..." He reached out and lightly rubbed her belly. "I couldn't imagine having even four. Glad I never got one of those rocks dropped down my pouch."

"Lana..." he sighed one of his fingers playing with the water a little. "To be honest I don't want to put you in a tank..but what other choice do we have? I mean you can't really walk with fins, and your body probably needs to stay in some kind of water to survive. I've been racking my brain but I can't come up with anything..I feel like I've failed you.." He said letting out another deep sad sigh.
"I can't even help the girl I have a crush on. I've just stood by and watched you transform..I just don't want you see you unhappy..You've had so much pain in your life..I'm just trying to not bring you anymore sadness..I love you Lana. It pains me to see you upset.." he said not careing if he revealed his true feelings for her.

Lana went extremely red. Habitually she sunk down so only her eyes were seen above the water. Her eyes seemed a litte moist. She looked away. Noone had ever said anyting close to that before.
There was silence for a long moment.
He loved her? He barely knew her. How could he possibly love her? And why was it making her cry? She was glad she was already wet so it was unnoticable. It took her a minute to make her voice steady.
"You didn't. There was nothing you could do. There was nothing anyone could do the day I touched those rocks. You..." she coughed. "are very kind to me...." she sunk down again, looking away and holding her belly.

"That's because I still see you as who you really are Lana. I don't care that you've become a mermaid! You have a beautiful heart..it really shows. I think...a person's transformation depends on their personality. That's why you changed into something as beautiful and graceful as a mermaid because you have a very kind personality." he said smiling at her blushing a deep red.
"Only an idiot would not fall in love with you. I know we don't know each other too well..but from the moment our eyes met there was something there..I-I don't know if you felt the same way though. Lana I like you just how you are, fins and all. I want to at least be here to help take care of the kids you have, it's the least I could do." he said smiling warmly.

Alfina giggled at the thought and a mischievous smile appeared on her lips. "Maybe it would make you change again. Or maybe you would grow even bigger. I think we should try it." She declared, trying to get up, but failing. She gave one final effort before crossing her arms under her chest and pouting. "Man... The only bad thing about being this big is I can't even get up." She complained.

Lana shook her head. "Your a really good friend. I don't think it more.. I mean..." She didn't right? But why did she cry as she said this? She looked down trying to think. "I don't know Matt. I'm just... you... I'm so confused!" she said, rubbing angrily at her eyes.
This was sily. She should be sure of herself. She should KNOW right? Both how did you really know anyway? She'd never felt toward anyone like she did to him. Did that mean she loved him? Maybe she was just over thinking this. She didn't think she was thinking straight.

He gently touched her cheek. "Shhhh...it's ok..take all the time you need to Lana. For now we're just friends..I won't push you into anything." He smiled moving his hand to her belly feeling some light movement. "It looks like your child is satisfied from the stew." he smiled happily.
"Can you swim around? I mean it must be kind of hard to wake up with a tail. I bet that's got to be rough for you." Matthew said with compassion. Pulling out his guitar he began to play a light comfortable song. "I'll probably set up a sleeping bag or something in here so that if you need me you can wake me."

Lana nodded, comforted slightly. However she could ignore this. It would alway be there in the back of her mind. But perhaps she should listen to her heart. Which is harder than she thought.
Lana sighed listening to his music. She loved when he played. It was like he was showing the world a piece of his soul. She slowly relaxed, despite her worries.
"I wonder what everyone else is doing. I keep hearing conversation in there. I can;t help but wonder what I'm missing here.... Stuck in a tub." She sighed. "Maybe if I was out of water I could make my body change to legs again..." She said them pulled the remains of her jeans out of the water. "Starting to wonder if that's a good idea."

"I'm sure they're just talking about how much they're changing, or worring on what they're going to do." Matthew replied still playing. "Still..I've been wondering where those meteorites came from." he said looking back at her when she pulled her jeans out, they slopped down on his face. Blushing a little because of what she said next.
"I don't think you'd want everyone to see your naked butt if you tried that." Matthew said removing her jeans from his face. "Don't worry you won't be in a tub forever..I'm sure of it!" he smiled.

Lana was absolutely horrified when they hit his face. "Om gy gosh! I'm so sorry!" she said, trying to wipe off his wet face and only dripping more water over him. She pulled back with a blush.
"Oops." she said, sunking down in embarressment again.

Matthew laughed. "Hey come back!" He said poking the top of her head gently. Resting his arms on the edge of the tub he looked down at her. He still couldn't belive she transformed into a mermaid. Dipping his hand into the water he poked her cheek. "Boop!" he said with a giggle. "I'm not upset silly. I could never get upset at you Lana!"
