Tripod purrred softly, rubbing his head against the woman's hands. Fish, he wanted fish. He was cute pokemon too! Loook! The luxio meowed again before turning his attention towards the approching wild pokemon. "Luuux....."He backed away slowly until he was behind Heal again.
Said healer wasn't surprise by the behavior before looking over the furret. "Um...hmm...." He hummed softly. "I think a few attacks would chase her off, we don't want her getting too used to human contact if no one is going to catch her..."

Furret sniffed. She could smell food. Food and something that smelled sort of like the human with the food. Hm, that bag, lots of humans kept food in bags. Furret dived in.
"I don't know, I don't want to attack her just for being friendly..." Shina said uncertainly. Then she saw the Furret suddenly dart off to the side and dive into her saddlebags. "Ack! Get out of there!" Shina ran over in time to see a flash of light and the Furret disappear. A moment later the 'Ding!' of a successful pokeball capture emitted from her bag. Shina sweatdropped. "I suppose she's mine now..."

Heal tilted his head slightly to the side, an action that was mimic by his Luxio. "Yeah, well....." He shrugged and shook his head. "that's why we should had scared her off, Shina. If a pokemon becomes too accustom to human interact without proper training, they will start stealing food directly in front of trainers. What would had happen if we weren't us? What if we had been plasma? Or Rockets? They would had attacked her until she couldn't move and leave her or catch her for some of their experiments." The three legged luxio let out a soft meow and pressed closer to Heal as he mention Rockets.
"I am not trying to make you feel guilty for feeding a wild pokemon, because we all do it, just make sure to chase them off if they start losing shyness to human contact if you are not planning to catch them."

Shikari listened to the whole exchange with a mixture of bewilderment and wonder. "Yours? How?"

Flint smiled fondly at Maya as she decided to help. He picked up as many peices of wood as he could then turned and set off back to the camp, Maya scurrying after him. He arrived back at the camp and dropped his load on the pile of wood. Maya chirred happily as she dropped her own bundle of stick's. Flint stood for a moment and looked around the camp, his face fell when he realized Rush was nowhere to be seen. " Oh no..." he looked around more carefully, a sinking feeling in his chest. " hey! has anyone seen my Tauros? hes got a broken horn and three scars on his flank. He was here when i left, but i don't see him now" he called out to the other trainers continuing to scan the camp.

Cetus watch Flint dump the collection of wood and would have figured to fix it into a neat little campfire if she wasn't overcome with a bout of laziness. The kids were young, they could do it! Suddenly hearing that the large bovine owned by the red head was missing, she tilted her head as she dully scratched her knee. "He's missing?" she asked, wondering how such a burly Pokemon could simply wander off with no sign. "Huh. Need help searching for him, Flint dear?"
The grunt found herself on her feet much to her chagrin. She was giving into her guise more and more as the time went on. When was she ever known to be kind? "Deneb Algenubi, mind helping us out?" The Pidgeot ignored her as he had already stuffed his head into the fluff of his back feathers, snoozing lightly. "Ugh, Thanih?" The senior Pokemon slowly creaked up with a steady balance on his bone club. He'd begrudgingly help her this time since she gave him food.

"Well, she's mine now. If she was that bold around humans, it's probably for the best that someone catches her," Shina said. "I do see your point though. And Shikari, the Furret decided to see if there was anything to eat in my saddlebag, and managed to trigger a pokeball while she was in there."
Shina went over to her bag, and dug around until she found the now occupied pokeball. Walking back over, she handed the pokeball to Shikari. "She's inside here now. That's how you catch a pokemon, though normally you throw one of these at a weakened pokemon, and it catches them, rather than one of them accidentally bumping into one and getting caught."
Shina heard Flint and looked over. "We just came from the river, I didn't see him over that way!" Shina called.

Koorie had kept her distance once Flint had left on his firewood gathering 'adventure', moving herself and Ares away from where the camp was being made. There were reasons behind why she hadn't asked if she could join the caravan quite yet, the most important one being that she hadn't fully decided if she wanted to join with them. Granted, traveling in a group had its pluses, but she wasn't a social butterfly and she preferred keeping most social interactions as minimal as possible. The second reason had been Ares. Despite having mostly averted his attention from the other Tauros, Koorie knew that the testosterone-driven pokemon was sure to cause trouble if she didn't keep him in check. That was a nearly full time job when he was out.
So instead of hanging around the camp, she'd taken Ares on a nice, long, cool down walk to help him calm down and recover a bit from his long day of trampling the ground beneath them. As they rounded close to the camp, she could hear a commotion going on and a frown pulled itself over her lips. Grasping part of Ares' mane, she guided him back towards the group that seemed to be the source of the upset.
"What's going on." She addressed to no specific person as she kept a firm grip on her own Tauros' mane.

Heal let Shina go on to explain the pokeball mechanics to Shikari as he heard the scary Flint-eating woman speak up, he arched an eyebrow as he turned towards her. "Ah..um....Some guy's Tauros seems to have wonder off, but i think it might just had to go find a patch of grass to munch on..."

She couldn't take it anymore. With a hand shoved in her pocket, she withdrew a cig, flicked her lighter, and drew a breath as if she had been gasping for air. And thus, her level-headed, tranquil housewife image fluidly leaked down the drain. With a mist of smoke shading her features, Claramay smiled a little and placed a hand to her cheek. "Ahh, Flint-dear's Tauros wandered off. Maybe snacking on some grass somewhere?" she said. "Hopefully the poor thing . . . " she paused to suck and filter out smoke through her nostrils. " . . . ah, must be lost somewhere."

Shina was a bit surprised to see a lady like Mrs. Pearls smoking, but she was a grown woman, so Shina didn't think she had the right to say anything. Well, except one little thing. "Mrs. Pearls, please do remember to throw your cigarette butts in the fire when you are done with them, or hold on to the spent ends to burn with the rest of the combustible garbage that evening if you feel the need to smoke during the day," she called in a casual tone, trying not to sound like it was more than an offhanded comment.

Flint sighed and shook his head " This wouldn't be the first time hes wandered off... hes not a big fan of crowds, if hes not back in an hour or two ill go search for him, just in case." he said then sat down by the fire, they had plenty wood for now. If they started to run low he would make another trip then. But for now he was tired, a long day of riding plus the discovery that the stubborn bull had run off again.

"It's no problem dear~" she chimed towards Shina. Ah, they took it better than expected. It sucks that was once teenage curiosity turned into a hapless addiction, but they were great after a romp around or adrenaline rush. She received a plethora of the latter especially in her line of work. "I'll remember both. Hope no one is bothered by the smell." Not that she cared. "Ehem."

Shikari inspected the pokeball with great interest, finding to her surprise that it could be shrunken or expanded when the button was bumped. Handy. She rubbed a little dirt off of it and prepared to hand it back, simultaneously moving upwind of the cigarette smoke drifting her way. She coughed a little. "Sorry," she said sheepishly. "I have a touch of asthma, and cigarette smoke really sets it off." Failing to pay sufficient attention to what she was doing, Shikari then accidentally hit whatever mechanism it was that let the Furret out of he ball. "Ooops, what'd I do? Sorry, Shina!"
She seriously hoped she hadn't done any irreparable damage.

"Reeeeettt?" Furret trilled.
"Come here girl!" Shina called, kneeling. Furret darted over and curled against her, rising to rub the top of her head against Shina's neck and chin. "Aww, aren't you a sweetheart. No worries, Shikari, you just let her out of her pokeball. I think I'll name her ...Annabell," Shina decided.
Shina scooped up the newly named Annabell and walked over to Shikari. "Here, do you want to feel her? She seems really cuddly and friendly." As if to prove her point, the Furret made a contented trilling noise, snuggling into Shina's arms.
Ahhhh, captured! Furret, no the human said she was Annabell now, was happy she had gotten caught, though she wasn't sure how it had happened. She'd heard that trainers fed their pokemon, sometimes even several times a day! And from what the tame pokemon she had talked to said, all they wanted in return was a cuddly companion or a vicious battler, depending on the tales told. She could do both those things for regular food! It wasn't like she didn't love to battle anyways, after all, and cuddling wasn't hard.
