╔═════════════════════════════╗ Alpha: Prom |631| Thomas "Transmigration" Morgan ╚═════════════════════════════╝ Thomas smiled as Tara spoke back on his comment about the work the Alphas and Omegas provided him with. "Clearly you all have some kind of addiction to adrenaline rushes. You should talk to someone about it. Someone other than me naturally." Working with the Alphas was definitely not going to be boring. Especially with Tara on the team to keep him on his toes. A smirk was given as she mentioned his delicacy and regular blood transfusions. "You have your addiction I think I am allowed my own." Naturally he was joking. As he was when he mentioned a vampire attack on him.
When the topic turned to the mall disaster Thomas' smile wavered and a sigh followed. "Yeah not being there is certainly not one of my finer moments. I mean seeing you as a zombie would have been priceless." Recovering quickly so as to not soil his friend's mood for the evening the man smiled at her. Truthfully he was quite displeased with himself over the mall. After all he could have helped prevent a considerable amount of damage. Bella could have been attended to on the spot. The Omega Sabertooth nearly gutted might not have been in quite s much danger either. Not to mention Aurelie and what seemed like countless others.
The topic turning to his potential date for the evening was amusing to Thomas. Especially with others didn't know he had taken a vow of celibacy. Even if it was just mainly for his benefit and not some religious thing. At the news of him being a chaperone and her subsequent joke Thomas gave her a mock chiding look. "I think the drama can be put on hold for the night. Especially with the fight that happened already." Somehow he seriously doubted that would be the only mishap for the evening. Especially with all the mutants and teenagers present. When he asked if she had someone accompanying her for the evening the geokinetic mentioned she did. "Well I am sure he will not abandon you for long. So no worries there. I am also glad to know I am safe from his fury."
As they ventured to the snack table yet another familiar and friendly face greeted him. Letting the blond speak to Tara first he took in that she also looked quite attractive. Remaining silent as the two briefly discussed Tara's date the man smiled as Aurelie turned to him next. "It has been some time now. It's good to see you are looking well. I would bore you with a description of my activities since then, but it mainly consists of hanging out in the infirmary and being a blood donor. If you like I can bore you with the details later." Again he became very aware that he needed to get out more. Nodding in agreement as Tara mentioned the other two ladies looking gorgeous. As he was complimented for looking amazing himself Thomas smiled pleasantly. "The comment is appreciated."
Tara's apparent date for the evening reappeared and mused his replacement at the hands of Thomas. "Don't feel bad I didn't have much choice in the matter either." The joke about Tara's headstrong and sometimes forceful personality was given with a small smile. Leo just about spilled his punch as he gazed at Aurelie and as Tara left to the the man's arm Thomas couldn't help, but chuckle at her comment. Letting Aurelie and Leo interact with each other Thomas remained silent and simply listened. For the moment he was unsure what to do so his hands were once again in his pockets as he gave a quick glance around the dance. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary he returned his attention once again to the group he was currently with.
╔═════════════════════════════╗ I will now rise from the ashes. Don't call me pretentious. I'm sitting here making my own rules. And if I fall from the ceiling. You'll be down there waiting. And my only hope. Is falling down. ╚═════════════════════════════╝

"Frankenpenis?...yeaaah I... probably would have checked it out. Like 10 minutes tops...just to see if i can be drawn into the porno in that amount of time" Dimitri answered, with small laughs coming out during his answer so that he wasn't one hundred percent serious. From the title alone however Dimitri did assume that it was a porno that was just bad...not good bad, the facepalm kind of bad. "...Will two bodyguards do the trick? If not i may just have to lay low for a while...switch my name, acquire an accent, get a pimp..."
He knew 2 wouldn't handle a swarm of angry people..angry females at that. That was unless Dimtri hired someone who was like the Blob in which anything that had weight to it would be denied access to Dimitri. But since the Blob was 6 feet deep, probably in the 10 percent range of decomposing from all that fat and Dimitri couldn't pay in food since all his s**t was healthy, he was out of luck."Yeah you're right...but during her meetings, just stick real close to the door. Like have one foot in, one foot out, that kind of thing." he joked.
"If i told you, then that would ruin it all..."he said as a small smirk formed on his face. Somewhere in Dimitri's ear, a part of it was good to hear that she wasn't too easy. Plus her offering to be a friend to Dimitri. Did that mean he was already friend-zoned? Dimitri didn't want to think that way and was more obligated to do so when she told him that he would have to step his game up if he was trying to get into her pants. "Thank you for the motivation" he said with a smile after a short laugh at her whore comment. "I'll keep that in mind." And if things did end with one of them in the other person's bedroom, more than likely it would have been a way to end a good night; whether they would smash or if one of them didn't want to sleep alone.
"I'll draw some of the attention away from you." he offered if she felt puzzled by the DDR. But if it was just one person then it wasn't as fun as two people, unless he was trying to lay down a record score in the local mall or something. "But if you just sat back and watch people would think I'm the one that needs to be carried out. At least if it's both of us we have a chance of getting some applause, while looking silly at the same time." he laughed.
Daylia may have had a point when it came to some men resorting to violence. With Dimitri being a martial artist, whatever urge he had to resort to violence at times, that fire died out long ago. "That may be true for some guys but in this case and with everything going on outside of the mansion, I'd rather Roland use his fists covered in flesh rather than in something else from his..other talents."
Dimitri gave Daylia the okay as they began to make their leave from the dance floor. "Hey you're right, looks like i can tell the Ambulance they don't have to wait outside anymore" he said playfully. "..unless I injured you...nah you look the same." By the snack and refreshments there were members of both Alpha and Omega spread out talking to one another such as Tara, Roland, Kerrigan, Aureile, Raine, Aren, Narcissa, Marcel, Jacen and new faces as well. Dimitri would follow Daylia to the punch area with whoever was there, giving them a heads up. As for him, he would get a water bottle if they had some, more than likely at room temperature and drink from that. And if they didn't, that was fine for he wasn't dying of thirst just yet. "The punch may have lost its purity, just a word of advice...but if you wanna take a shot in the dark and can hold your liquor, go for it." he encouraged as he took a sugar cookie and took a small nibble from that just to "blend in"

╰☆╮ Name: Katarina Force ╰☆╮ Alias: Kali ╰☆╮ Team: Alpha, Apparently.╰☆╮ Ability: Shape Shifter ╰☆╮ Location: Academy: Garden, by the Fountain ╰☆╮
"Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful are caught as often as the bold." ✬════━━┈┈┈☆┈┈┈━━════✬ Katarina walked down the staircase as quickly as her feet would carry her. For the moment, she wanted to get as far away from X-20 as she could be, without tripping the telepath alarm. She didn’t want them in her head anymore than they had to be. She was an empiricist, a spy, and a murderer all wrapped up in an attractive female package. To most individuals she would seem harmless…Pretty, but not worth worrying about. Unfortunately for her…Gideon was not simply anyone, and knew better than to trust her any further than an average male of his height and weight could theoretically throw her.
It was wise.
Since she’d arrived, she’d been looking for…A way to live. A way to sleep, in the room she’d been given. Sleeping alone was uncomfortable…Cold. She didn’t like it. All of the facts that she’d gone over told her that she needed to change…That her way of thinking, down to it’s core, would need to change—For her to coexist outside of H.Y.D.R.A.
She didn’t know if she could.
Gideon was…A typical, stupid male. Worthless, when it came to anything but food, and apparently sex with his little Hispanic piece of tail. Maybe that was why he his testicles were so twisted, and he was so stubborn. He wasn’t getting any.
Her hand slid down the polished banister as she moved swiftly, the low heel of her boot making soft padding sounds on the carpet that distinctly annoyed her. The noise was slight…But she didn’t like it. As a spy, being quiet was paramount…But she was angry, and unable to shift. Becoming a another human was draining, after switching forms all day long…Sometimes it even left her nauseated.
Once on the ground floor she slipped out of a side door, into the gardens…Forcing herself to breathe deeply to try and relax. Lithe arms wrapped around her slim body, the white of her sweater making her stand out amongst the foliage…Another espionage taboo. Perhaps X-20 was right, and she was already going soft…Already changing.
Her options were running out… She was working with a time table in mind…And she was tired of running. While she could have likely escaped if she wanted to; Considering most of the senior X-Men had vacated the base to keep an eye on the innocent little party goers…Where would she go? How far would she get this time, before some crack team from the Contessa tried to take her back again… It was on sheer skill that she’d escaped them this far… If they were trying to kill her, it would be easier…But they weren’t.
What faced her in Rome was worse than death.
But as trained as she was…She was under no illusion that she was perfect. She was going to make a mistake. And it would cost her. Katarina sighed as she ignored those around her, taking a seat at the base of a flowing fountain, near the pool. The Academy was more of a day spa than a compound…How was it that they’d managed to keep from being annihilated? So far she really hadn’t seen any impressive skill or ability use… Though she had heard of things, whispers in the halls. If they were true, and not typical teenager gossip…This place housed quite a few respectable mutants.
Her arms wrapped around her knees as she curled as small as possible, cheek resting on top of them. Chestnut hair with caramel highlights gleamed under the light…But she hid her face, looking towards the shadows.
Was there a place for her? Somewhere safe, that wouldn’t demand that she change who she was?
She was beginning to think it was a lost cause… None of this had turned out the way it was supposed to. Hostile X-20 was not supposed to be a lovesick fool. Katarina swallowed hard, eyes falling shut as she planned her next move. Something that the telepaths wouldn’t key in on…Not until it was too late.
Gideon’s temper was short, when it came to the screeching harpy. All she needed to do was…Aggravate it enough. And he would handle the rest…It would be out of her hands, and she could finally…Finally sleep. No more running. No more doubt. She would never be strong enough to live the life he lead…To live in a carefully constructed lie.
Perhaps, this was best.

Team: AlphaxxxLocation: Prom - snack table
The telekinetic couldn't help but laugh at Lillian's quip about considering herself to be good company. For the most part, she was. “My sister wasn't raised with those traditions.” Aurelie countered thoughtfully; she simply possessed a nose for fashion the way a hound did for a fox. But she remained quiet, not one to want to tarnish the girl's confidence if she didn't have to. Though, the almost dead on impersonation of Dr. Frankenstein was enough to make her shift her weight about uncomfortably. “You alright there, Lills?”
* * *
“Oh, no worries there... She'll never know who talked me into it.” Just in case they did get ideas. A Barbie Doll Aurelie was not. And she'd rather not pretend to be if it could be helped. The room stirred with movement – from people buzzing about the snack area, to others twirling on the dance floor (“twirling” was similar in fashion these days, to bumping and grinding)... it was difficult to try and catch it all.
Her power mimic friend encouraged her to go dance if the mood struck her fancy, and the blond gave off a thin, but gracious smile. “I'll do that.” She assured her, knowing that her toes wouldn't even tap the floor if she could help it.
An eyebrow rose just slightly higher with Tara's response that Leonardo had evaporated. “Ah.” She said monosyllabically with a grin ghosting her features. If the geokinetic were scrutinizing her attire with a simple look, Aurelie failed to notice, still vehemently a critic about the dress selection for the evening. But she smiled graciously when she complimented both herself and Lillian, “You can credit everything regarding prom and myself tonight to Lils.” Of course, the alpha girl already knew that Aurie had thought her ensemble to be very fitting, so she didn't repeat the notion.
It was shortly after that Leonardo appeared, and Tara quickly switched from Thomas' arm to his – obviously fawning on her date. While she wouldn't have guessed the two were more than friends normally, Aurelie's appraisal was an approving one. Who wouldn't think the pair a cute couple?
Once again, the former dancer found her lips upturned. “Note that she used the word, 'prod' – like I was a cow that needed herded to the pasture.” A small giggle burst between her parted lips, and she quickly covered it by pressing her fingers to her mouth. She gave Lillian a skeptical look when she mentioned that her shorter ensemble out-shined her in Leo's eyes. “I'm sure he's just surprised that I showed up at all.” Aurelie said, dismissing any other interpretation of the man nearly spilling his drink.
Heat surged into her cheeks as the mimic and Tara accused Leo of ogling her so openly, and quickly found a cheese cube to distract herself with – though her eyes were apologetic to the dark haired man for his being put into such an awkward position over her. Everyone seemed to be teasing him for his near clumsy move, attributing it to her – from his official date dabbing a napkin at the corner of his mouth, to Lillian choosing to make a remark... She found it hard not to giggle at his expense -even if she'd not believe any of it for a second. He handled everything gracefully though, and for that she gave him silent kudos.
“Yeah... made being the perfect word choice.” The telekinetic said, the traces of a smile still apparent in the lines of her face. She did laugh when he said she'd come for him, especially because Tara was draped over his arm like a fur stole. ”Oh, I don't go for boys already taken.” She teased with a wink, her voice light enough that he wouldn't hear the truth of the statement. “It sets a bad precedent.”
She turned to Thomas then, choosing to allow Tara time with her date, lest she eat all of it up. For some reason, she felt comfortable around the animal mimic, relaxed, safe... and if given the opportunity, she would forget how quickly time passed as she conversed with him. It didn't seem fair to do so when he was on an actual date. “I'm surprised I didn't see you with all the time I spent there.” Though, she could have been mistaken... but she might have been one of his recipients. “I'm sure being stuck repeatedly with a needle though would make anyone less sociable.” It certainly would her.
“Considering Lillian and I both came unescorted, and you appear to be without a date... you'll get two for the price of one tonight.” She didn't miss his wayward glance to the dance floor, and smiled to herself as an idea of how to get her friend back for dragging her out. “I'm sure Lillian would love a dance partner.” He would likely have known before the others why she wouldn't accompany them out to bust a move...
Naturally, sapphire gems took a peek at the crowd breaking it down and spotted what most people in the room likely had – Narcissa was talking to Raine. The blond decided not to say anything; it wasn't her place. But given what Scott had said, Aurelie didn't see that ending all too prettily. More like, disaster.
Her heart went out to Raine, and she had to wonder if anyone would try and save her from the Omega queen, the way she and Leo had tried with that gilled boy at the mall.

He'd seen enough airports to empathize with her outrage there.
“Asberger's and idiocy.” Politicians tended to be stupid; Blake held a precious few in esteem... and only because he'd had a lot of faces come to his home. “Just how he got into office astounds me.” He sighed, silently wondering if his father would make the same mistakes; Texas wasn't known for its understanding... Their politics were ruthless – it was why when anyone mentioned The Chair that the Lonestar state popped to the forefront of everyone's mind. Though, because of his father's position, the cowboy could say little else on the matter and jumped at the opportunity to poke fun at Bella when she mentioned getting beads.
Laughing at her confusion, he pulled her into his chest, wrapping his arms around her for just a brief moment before letting her go. Even with all the fighting she'd had to do for the sake of mutantkind... the Alpha leader was still very naïve – one of her more endearing traits. “You need someone to watch over you down there.” Especially if she thought she was going to get beads off of the floats. “Mardi Gras is a whole different kind of party – and the drunks would just eat you up.”
“Consider my paying for your trip, as my pleasure.” He cheesed, knowing she still wouldn't understand why he was alright with it. ”As long as you earn your first set of beads from me.” The molecular manipulator guffawed once more before coughing into his hand. Clearly, he'd need to tell her why she would have to earn them later... like, when they were on the plane, heading down there. “It'll be a bonus.” The man teased, winking once to let her subconscious mind remember he was only joking. Even if she didn't pick up on it now.
She mentioned making people dance in the crowds, and the practical part of Blake pointed out how it'd be an expensive bail out of jail, and she seemed to consider that for a moment, just before officially inviting him to come along. “I'll pay for your ticket, and you can get me some beignets when we get down there. It'd be easier for me to book the tickets with one card instead of two – just to make sure we get seats together.” The more practical part of him wondered how Gideon would feel about Bella taking a trip with one of her guy friends, but he wasn't going to voice that until she was ready to talk about why the man wasn't here in the first place.
Deep blue eyes surged towards the heavens as Bella insisted that he preferred some sort of snake. “Actually, I prefer boxes.” He said, frowning at the pythons.. “The only sort of python I like is Monty Python, and I'm quite sure that I don't even want his snake.” Blake retorted in a thank-you-very-much tone. “Besides, you've seen some of the girls I've dated...” He just figured she was getting him back for a bunch of pranks he'd pulled on her, which was understandable enough. “Where you came up with the idea that I jumped the fence is beyond me.”
The only acceptable response to the soundstress stating that girls wouldn't date him for fear of his being more “pretty” than themselves was a shake of the head. “Oh yes... they've been so jealous of my reflection in the mirror.” Even in his southern tone, sarcasm came out smooth. “Bella, they're synonymous with each other.” After a moment, the former Excelsior leader's lips lifted into a lopsided grin. “Just admit it,” He started, the grin growing into a fully fledged smile, ”You think I'm good looking.” With that, he struck a pose.
With the topic of Mardi Gras came one about alcohol, to which he suggested they celebrate her finally admitting that she found him attractive by indulging. “Don't worry, Bells... I'd never let someone take advantage of you.” He made a boyscout sign, and crossed two fingers on his opposite hand, holding both up for her to see. “Unless it was me...” Blake teased, unable to help himself.
“Oh, I'm not...” He assured her with a nod, ”This is all a set of good genes.” His hands made a motion towards himself, and an eyebrow rose with his arrogance as he showed her. For the sake of their argument, and her wheedling on her arguments, he wouldn't mention the fact that he often disagreed with Pops on most things.
A sense of pride swelled through him unnecessarily when she mentioned that she had been trying to keep him all to herself. “Many people think they see things that they don't.” Blake shrugged at that, shoving his hands deep into his tuxedo pant's pockets. “But you know, I won't leave you forever.” Even if it meant just keeping in touch through letters... Bella was too important to lose.
Nearly choking at the idea of Scott accusing him of being a bully, Blake coughed out his laughter. “Because sometimes, when a man likes a woman, doll, he lets her know about it by beleaguering her.” There was only a brief pause before he continued. “Mostly, it's lesser men without any confidence that do so; I'd just tell you outright.” Of that, she could be sure.
He'd not kept a hold of her hand very long, digging one out of his pocket just long enough to give his best friend an assuring squeeze – one she'd returned with just enough pressure to let him know she was legitimately worried about him being an Omega. Lifting the mood once more, Blake's face lit up with his humor. “There you go calling me pretty again.” The cowboy said, feigning a sigh as he searched the sky.
Her infectious giggles pierced the air, and a rouge tint painted itself into her cheeks as the conversation switched once again, to the necking going on in the woods. “Oh, but I am. I need you to explain it to me.” The Omega man insisted, grinning like a Cheshire cat. He shrugged casually when she asked why he teased her so, before looking in the other direction so that he could answer her question without cracking up. “Because you walk right into it.”
At Leo's fake pass at Bella, he couldn't help but make her aware of the fact that her team member was “hitting” on her. “Oh, I think he is.” Blake breezed easily, one side of his mouth higher than the other as he looked at her. She pushed him, though it did very little good to move his frame. Instead, he stepped closer.
Nodding at her request, he leaned into her ear. “I promise I will.” It'd been barely audible, but with how down Bella seemed, he wasn't likely to miss anything.
The molecular manipulator made a remark about running his date up a tree to make it look as though they weren't there, and as per usual, the soundstress' reaction was priceless. “No I wouldn't... that's a treat reserved only for you doll.”
Leo went up a notch in Blake's book when he made an offhanded compliment for Bella – something told him that she'd need a lot more of those in the future, if he ever wanted to see the bright-eyed girl he'd known two years ago on a consistent basis again.
They headed back inside, the three of them, and Blake suddenly found himself watching everyone, moving through the crowd with Leo to fetch a few drinks. He nodded at the people that Leo seemed engaged in, but tipped his chin upwards toward the animal mimic, as if to say that he'd catch him later. Had he noticed the few people who gave him quizzical looks, the cowboy may have introduced himself... He was back at Bella's side before she could even realize she was gone – with drinks in hand. Holding a cup out to her, he nodded. “Yeah... everyone I think right now, in the mutant world is happy to go to a dance to get their mind off of things.”
He didn't miss the dejection that was so blatant all over her face, and wished very thoroughly that he could do something about it. “You know.. they're all having fun. Whatever it is that's troubling you... you should let go of for just a few hours, and enjoy yourself too.” It wouldn't be the end of the world, but he didn't say it.
“And you know, that I could keep you permanently plastered to something, even outside of my presence, right?” He countered, just before smiling once more for her. Of his own accord, (mostly in an effort to make her laugh) he had one more thing to say. “Quack.”

Kerrigan Schwartz Codename: Knoxx Team: Omega Location: Frontier University Current Thoughts: Liquid Courage Kerrigan and Roland made their way off the dance floor, the redhead grinning to herself when she felt his fingers interlace with her own. That had to be a good sign, right? Or maybe he just wanted to make sure that they didn't get separated amidst so many people? If anyone could over think this situation, it was Kerrigan, and she found herself hoping that there would be a little something in the punch to help calm her nerves and silence her mind. What was so wrong with simply enjoying an evening and seeing where it took you? She knew that, if the blonde were at her side instead of silently trashing an Alpha, it's what Narcissa would tell her to do. It was moments like this that she realized just how dependent on the Omega leader she could be with these sorts of things. Cissa knew all the answers, while Kerrigan was hopelessly left in the dark when it came to men. Maybe Roland didn't even want things to progress beyond the friendship point, and he was doing all of this just to make sure that she had a good time? He had, after all, extended his invitation as a friend, and she had clearly accepted as a friend. Were these the kinds of thoughts running through his mind too? A smile graced her lips when he responded to her inquiry about his dancing by stating that he simply had a good teacher. Then, turning the compliment back around onto herself, Kerrigan found her cheeks flushing once more. " Glad it came off confident, considering I had no idea what I was doing. That's the strange part of my powers, sometimes it just feels like my body is moving on it's own, without any real direction from me. Guess I am just kind of used to it by now," she responded with a breathy laugh, only breaking their hands when she stepped past the group around the snacks table to pour herself a cup of punch. He was quick to follow suit, green eyes testing on him for a second as he drank before she also took a deep swig from the cup. It didn't taste like fruit punch, that was for sure, but right now it was exactly what she was looking for. A way to relax and just go with the flow - otherwise she would start saying and doing stupid things because of over thought. Draining the last of the liquid from her cup, she smiled at the others around them, taking particular note of Lillian as Aurelie introduced her to Thomas as a potential dance partner for the evening. Aside from Cissa, she'd probably rank the power mimic as one of her closest friends at the Academy, and was even more excited to see that she showed up to Prom looking stunning. " Yea, go break it down, Lils. Can't let Rolie and I have all the fun out there," she called over the sound of the music, her eyes widening slightly when she realized just what exactly she'd called her date. Turning to him, she was clearly mortified as one hand made its way to her flushed cheek and offering a quick apology. Man, this was just going smoothly. Her body found its way next to Roland's as she poured herself another glass of punch, giving him a sideways glance accompanied by a soft smile. She wasn't sure if it was the strength of the punch or the fact that she was counting on it to relax her a little bit, but she already found her head feeling a little lighter, not bogged down with the analysis of where the evening was going to take her, or where she thought her companion wanted it to go. It was a nice feeling. Over her date's shoulder, she saw Cissa and her group begin drinking, for once not having the slightest urge to interject herself into the situation and try to diffuse what she was sure was a ticking time bomb. " If I start to go over there, stop me. Promise?" she said simply to Roland as her arm draped over his shoulder with a chuckle. She could hear all about what happened from Cissa tomorrow without getting involved. But it was going to take a lot of work to ignore her instincts with things like this. Kerrigan always tried to be the peace keeper when it came to their leader and the Alphas, but tonight she was just going to let nature take its course. Her free hand moved down to his tie, adjusting it where it had been knocked a little askew in the heat of their dance. Three cups of punch, going on four, was starting to take it's effects. At least it was a happy place. " You sure you're not just hustling me into thinking you don't know how to be a good date? Because you're doing a pretty good job so far," she said with a playful grin, head tilting slightly to the side as her arm remained slack over her shoulder, green eyes looking up at him with no expectations as to what he would say in return. It was kind of a random comment, but it'd dawned on her that she was really having a great time, regardless of what he might be expecting from her at the end of the evening. Two people couldn't dance like that without some sort of background chemistry, right? There she went, thinking again. Bringing her cup to her lips as he started his reply, she felt the punch disappear down her throat, silencing further thought as she simply waited to hear what he had to say in response. Bottoms up.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Team ↠ AlphaxxLocation ↠ Pool Side to Fountain side Eli's mind became clustered as the anxiety continued to well over. "I'm sorry, I need to get some fresh air." He said, not remembering the fact he was already outside. The anxiety choked him, it made the air around him taste bitter, just like biting into the rind of an orange.
He grabbed the last bottle of his Orange crush and walked away from the mansion. He felt ashamed of himself. It felt as though, being talked to and just socializing with others, they were dissecting his thought process, his persons, and his world. It felt like they were pearl divers trying to get to whatever prize lay in the darkest depths. But, the reason for his shame, was that Eli knew full well that wasn't the case, yet it felt like it.
His chest relaxing a little as he distanced himself from Reggie, Eli walked up to a fountain, unknowing of another presence (Kat) at his new secluded, or what he thought was secluded, hiding spot. The water from the fountain's splashing waters calmed him a little, the noise of something that wasn't a human voice eased him.
His hand glided to the top of the crush bottle and the cap wrenched, making a slight squealing noise. The pressure being released all at once, instead of easing out the carbonation by twisting it forced the soda to fizz and well out over his hand. "God DAMN IT!" Eli yelled, breaking the silence and put his mouth to the foaming drink before he lost any more of it. By the time the foam stopped rushing up, he dunked his hand in the fountain to get the sticky syrup off, and then let out a loud belch, under the impression that nobody was around him. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ OOC ↠ Sorry about the long delay. But I didn't want to skip JJ ):

Alpha - Frontier University - Converging on the Snack Table Tara smiled as Lillian spoke about the hassle of getting Aurelie to join them for the evening, the brunette giving the blonde a once over before another approving nod. The power mimic complimented her and Thomas on their appearance, Tara giving an appreciative tilt of her head as she did a quick little spin to show on the entirety of her dress. It was only moments later that Leo arrived on the scene once more, accompanied by the guy that he'd gone off to find in the first place ( Blake). Unfortunately, before she had a chance to scrutinize the newcomer any further, he was gone into the crowd once more, drinks in hand for whom she would assume was Bella. Leo joked with Thomas about being replaced, to which the practically involuntary medic joked bake about neither of them having a choice in the matter. Her expression changed to one of incredulity, hands placing themselves on her slim hips with a forceful glance at both of them. " Oh, please, you know you both like it. Besides, there are worse things that a pretty girl wanting to be seen in public with you, am I right?" As she spoke, her expression melted into one of amusement once more, going back to examining the scene unfolding before her. The brunette couldn't help but notice his increased nerves the moment he realized that Aurelie was standing there with them, looking gorgeous. Lillian began the assault, mocking tone sounding hurt as she quipped about not showing love in the right places. Tara had the feeling that they were going to get along just fine, moving over to him and handing him a napkin with a snide remark about drool. This was going to be a fun distraction for the rest of the night. Especially when she saw Aurelie's response to the whole situation. Her date tucked the napkin she'd provided back into the strap of her dress, joking that she might have more use for it later when they got some food on their way home. It seemed like more of a reminder that he was still there with her, regardless of this change of events, the geokinetic's eyes glistening with a mischievous tone as het lips curled into another grin. Leo however, returned his attentions to Lillian before finally expressing his thanks that the blonde telekinetic was there at all in words. He joked about owing Lillian one for bringing his crush to the dance, Tara's words, not his. " Offering a favor, huh? That could be interesting. I'd hold on to that one," she spoke over the music, giving Lillian a grin along with a pair of raised eyebrows. Her arms were still about her date as he turned to her, asking what she wanted to do next. He asked if she wanted to dance, the brunette pretending to think for a moment before taking his punch out of his hand and downing the remaining liquid in the cup, shaking out her curls. " A dance sounds great. I mean, who wouldn't want to dance with the hottest girl here?" Her sights remained on him as she spoke, appearing to be referencing herself, though as she set the cup down on the table, she caught the tail end of Aurelie passing Lillian off as a dance partner for Thomas her grin widening. Releasing her date from her embrace, the earth mover closed the distance between herself and the blonde telekinetic, offering her a bright smile with an extension of her hand. It was an expression anyone would have a hard time saying no to - if anyone could get what she wanted, it was Tara. " May I have this dance?" She paid no mind to Dimitri and Daylia as they made their way off the dance floor and towards the snack table where their groups was still lingering, though that didn't mean that she didn't notice them. Right now, her sights were set on more amusing things.

Omega, Location: Prom Bottoms up Kerrigan seemed to be getting a bit red about her face. Whether it was her being nervous, or her continued imbibing of the punch, it was fun to see Kerri out of the official role that he’d seen her before this. It was nice to see her, and well everyone that was here outside the whole X-Men seriousness that they were currently stuck in. He had to laugh to himself as she explained how her power seemed to make dancing for her come naturally. It was interesting for him, to see her let her hair down. He wouldn’t have expected someone to be so human, when not in the command chair. He chuckled to himself when she called him “Rolie”. He never heard that one before. She offered a red-faced apology over it, to which he brushed aside. “Don’t worry about it, we’re here to have fun.” he said to her, “Admittedly, I’ve never heard that nickname before.” he had a few nicknames in his years. GoldenEye, pip-squeak, s**t-stain, Paycheck. This was admittedly the newest one he’d had the pleasure of receiving. Her arm draped over his shoulder as she asked him to make sure she was stopped if she tried to go over to the growing spectacle with Narcissa and Raine. No sense in turning this night into one filled with more violence. And frankly, he did not want to have to deal with bruises and cuts. He had to laugh some more as she asked if he was playing her into believing him to not being a good date. Apparently, he was doing all right in her book. Pointing to his eyes, he explained, “These eyes, are how I keep honest. They glow when I express emotion,” as he placed a hand down across her back, “or if I’m excited. Of course, it makes me also a horrible poker player. I have a tell that people can figure out a mile away. After all, it’s practically a neon sign.”“And Kerri, you may want to ease up on the punch.” he said to her, in a playful form of caution, “A lesser man may want to take advantage of the beautiful drunk girl.” he finished as he took a glass of punch. It was his second one, but he didn’t plan on getting too inebriated. This was a night of fun, one to remember. And with this beautiful red head beside him, he definitely wanted to remember this night.

Kerrigan Schwartz Codename: Knoxx Team: Omega Location: Frontier University Current Thoughts: Honest Brutality Thankfully, Roland didn't seem to upset about her accidental nickname for him, though she had a hard time believing that no one had used it before. His reassurance that it wasn't a big deal, however, was welcome, and she found it brought a smile to her lips as he chuckled at it. Absentmindedly, she wondered if, perhaps, it was because there were other, worse names he'd been called in the past, though she kept that thought to herself. They were still getting to know each other, so she would wait until she had more of an insight into his character before she tried to figure that one out. Moving over to him, she draped one arm casually over his shoulder, first asking him to prevent her from getting involved in the increasingly dangerous interaction going on between Narcissa and her date Felix with Aren and his unfortunate choice of date, Raine. He apparently got quite a kick out of it, and his amusement only increased as he laughed, pointing towards his eyes and explaining about how they could be used to read his truthfulness. One of his hands moved across her back, the redhead naturally stepping a little closer to him, laughing when he expressed how his eyes were a hinderance in the poker arena. " Neon sign, huh? Well, I mean, how often do you play poker anyways? I would have thought you more of a….blackjack player anyways," she responded with an amused grin. Bringing her cup of punch up to her lips with a grin, she nearly choked when he, in a kind way, recommended that she slow down on the punch, causing her cheeks to erupt into a deep shade of scarlet. " Such a gentleman," she breathed out through a laugh, grinning as he reached for a glass of punch himself. Apparently the punch was a little stronger than she'd thought, bringing her arm back from his shoulder to press against one of her flushed cheeks. The coolness of her fingers was a stark contract to the heat she felt in her face, letting out another laugh. Of course he said something about her being the beautiful drunk girl, but by the end of the evening there would likely be more than one. And now that she realized just how strong the punch was, she'd be sure to temper her consumption so she didn't go…crazy. Kerrigan, being the control freak that she could be, would not enjoy that one bit. " Look, now you've made me blush," she said to him over the sound of the music, conscious of the fact that she wanted to take a drink because she was uncomfortable, but afraid of giving him the impression that she was some sort of alcohol-consuming…crazy…person. That was the last thing she wanted him to think of her. Now that the date was going well, she felt more pressure to make sure she didn't make a fool of herself or embarrass him. After all, he'd been great so far, and the least she could do was return the favor. Clearing her throat, she shook herself from her thoughts, green eyes turning to him once more with a smile. There she went, thinking again. " So, what now? Because if we keep standing here, I'm going to keep drinking punch out of nervous habit," she said with a laugh, reaching up to brush a loose wisp of hair from her temple behind her ear.

The Omegas: Prom |1042|"Are you lost in your lies? Do you tell yourself, 'I don't realize.' Your crusade's a disguise. Replaced freedom with fear, You trade money for lives. I'm aware of what you've done." ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ "Wing-men do tend to make everything better. How else would unattractive guys get laid. And while clearly I could fill a different role just as easily I will begrudgingly accept this one." It was a true enough statement that he replied to Cissa with. Naturally Felix never had need of a wing-man, but he didn't fault others for needing one. Most of the time anyway. It really depended on the person in question.
Felix smirked at Aren as the man mentioned being thankful he didn't have those type of relations with him. "While I am flattered by your words. I was speaking about a kiss with Cissa being like fine wine. Naturally though the same can be said for me. Practice makes perfect. Your lack of knowledge is understandable. You are practically a caveman. Not as much as the neanderthal over there who had to show how tough he is, but close." Clearly he was enjoying the banter and jokes with Aren. It had been quite some time since he had met someone who he could do such things with. The native was also giving as good as he got so that gave him points in Felix's book as well.
Felix stopped his light taunting long enough to glance at Raine as Aren conversed back and forth. A smile was sent towards the lightning bug in a friendly way, after all how was he supposed to know the brunette was mad at him? Did he do anything wrong? No. She didn't want to accompany him to the dance so why should she care if someone else did? Even if it was Cissa. As the smile was sent Felix took a mental note of how beautiful the woman looked. A small tinge of jealousy was felt, though he chalked that up to liking to have what others had. Even if that was a rare occasion. What did he have to be jealous about? He had came with the most attractive woman in the room right?
A small chuckle was given as Cissa and Aren discussed her decision to accept his invitation. "Perhaps you should take some notes Aren." Shooting an amused look towards Aren, Felix caught the conversation between Cissa and Raine and for the first time heard the less than nice comments the two were exchanging. The comments were well hidden, but definitely present. It was almost amusing really, and as long as a fight didn't break out between the two Felix figured Raine could hold her own well enough. There was no need for the speedster to get involved and ruin his night.
As Felix and Aren came to an agreement to have a drinking contest between the two another night, the speedster didn't bother to tell the man he cheated in that department. Felix liked to win way too much for that. As the size shifter mentioned being full of good ideas Felix smirked. "I have my share of them as well. Another time we will have to compare said ideas and see which ones between the two of us have the most potential." No doubt that would prove entertaining. As Cissa mentioned waking up in their beds alone Felix raised an eyebrow. Unless he was missing something he figured that comment was aimed more towards Aren and Raine. Felix had no illusions about getting any after prom. Not from Cissa at least. If it wasn't too late though finding someone else to keep him company for the rest of the night might not be out of the question. Something told him Cissa would kill him for that though.
As Cissa asked if white was the wrong choice and Felix grinned at Aren's very diplomatic answer. Her pulling on his tie was met with the same smile. "Of course not. White is very fitting." While Raine looked beautiful in red naturally he almost thought she would have looked better in a different color. Whether that was Cissa's influence or not he didn't know though. Since Raine hadn't asked his opinion however, for the moment he didn't comment on her. Felix seemed to recall her saying something about not liking to be flattered by date-like compliments when not on a date after all. No matter how joking the statement had been. The only reason he had answered Cissa was she had specifically asked it. Cissa downing her drink without hesitation made Felix curious what a drunk Cissa would look like.
Cissa mentioning how often she had been in Aren's lap drew a curious gaze in Aren's direction as if silently asking for details. Never one to be possessive Felix barely gave any indication he noticed Cissa left his side for Aren's long enough to kiss him on the cheek. Watching Cissa pluck a drink from a passerby and holding it out for Aren, Felix grabbed one in same way. Holding two drinks now he downed one and handed it to a random passerby. Since it was clear Narcissa was not going to be taking no for an answer there was no need to hold back. Aren seemed to realize the same thing as he took the drink and brought it to his lips. Felix almost felt sorry that the couple was being forced into this. Then at the thought of the drunken antics the sorrow melted away.
Hearing Aren's comment, Felix took note that the size shifter was taking this all very well and smirked. "That and laughing at your drunken antics. Intoxicated people tend to be very amusing." Felix had seen his fair share through his years. When Raine was offered another drink from Aren, Felix took that moment to down his second cup handing it off again. A glance was given to Cissa with a smile. "So you are really worried you won't wake up alone?" Clearly he was amused and joking as he whispered it to her. While the potential for being overheard was there the other two seemed to be conversing with each other as well. And Felix wasn't going to miss the opportunity to tease the blond for her comment. After all Cissa oddly didn't strike him as the type to do that sort of thing. She struck him as more of a tease than slut.

Name: Raine "Glitter" Burke Team: Alphas Power: Creation and Manipulation of Electricity Location: Prom: Standing Her Ground Raine managed to keep a calm face as her path with Aren was interrupted by Cissa and Felix, her date quickly correcting the Omega leader on her name. Cissa's response, accusing her parents go hating her for giving her the name Raine, hurt. Unless Cissa had read her file, and Raine wasn't entirely convinced that was out of the question, she'd have no way of knowing just how hurtful that statement was. Everything that had happened since she'd moved up to the Alphas, and this was the closest she'd been to crying. Steeling herself over, she put on another smile, giving a shrug at the suggestion that she could change it. There were…several retorts that crossed her mind, though she didn't vocalize any of them. I mean, what the hell kind of name was Narcissa? She must have been one hell of a child for her parents to name her so…appropriately. But, why dignify that with a response, when all it would do was invite more fire? She caught sight of Felix's smile towards her, which she met with, well, nothing. The minute their eyes seemed to connect for a moment, Raine tore them from his form again, reaching up to adjust a bobby pin holding her hair up in its bun. The blonde explained her reasons for being at prom, at Aren's inquiry, as being a simple necessity for her attendance. It nearly made the firefly snort with laughter - as far as she was concerned, the better policy would be to require the blonde to stay away from all social events where she held the potential to ruin another student's life. Of course, that would be pretty much any inter-team activity… Narcissa slid closer to her date, slipping her fingers into Felix's vest, physically flirting with her own date while verbally flirting with Aren. The knot in her stomach began to tighten, using all of her strength to keep her electricity stores from bubbling to the surface. As much as she tried not to let on how much Cissa being close to Felix bothered her, it seemed that either she was that transparent, or Cissa knew her better than she'd like. Hearing the details of how Felix had attained the…honor…of coming to Prom with his team leader only served to fuel the fire in her chest, her expression hardening on the inside and melting into nothing but a smile on the outside as she watched the "kitten" from hell play with her newest toy. " Well, regardless of how it happened, I'm glad you guys were able to come out together. I definitely got the date I wanted, so looks like we're all happy," she responded with a smile up towards Aren, trying to ignore their typical male competition over what seemed to be a mututal conquest. Offering them drinks, Raine accepted with a slightly skeptical look towards the blonde, momentarily wondering if it was poisoned, but then realizing that she was likely just trying to get them all to loosen up and mingle a bit more. Then, she realized what a ridiculous notion that was - more likely than not, she was trying to play with Aren, and Raine was caught in the crossfire. Her date politely declined his drink at first, asking Felix for a rain check as the speedster challenged him to a drinking contest of sorts. It was sweet of him to offer to remain sober while she enjoyed herself, the brunette offering him a smile before looking down at the drink in her hand once more. Raine was…social, but she was usually too busy to partake at the parties she went to, especially given her need to get up early almost every morning. The conversation turning to the two girls' choice of attire for the evening was likely…dangerous. Putting on an air of mock gratitude as the blonde insisted that no one would expect Raine to live up to the "perfection," as she put it, that Cissa had acquired, internally, Raine was dying to just zap her and be done with it. Sure, she might have been incinerated on the spot, but she could frizz the girl's hair out so badly it'd take a week of brushing to get through it. The thought brought a smile to her lips, enough to get her past Cissa's veiled compliment about being able to work with what she'd been given when getting ready for the night. Never one to take anything laying down, however, Raine responded with her own "compliment" at how Cissa filled out the dress she was wearing so nicely. If those were her last words, she'd be perfectly content with them. Instantly, the air tensed between them, Cissa insisting that they needed impartial judges, which no doubt meant the men at their sides. Leaning into Aren and slipping a hand onto his chest, she merely watched as the blonde turned her sights, like an animal, on her unsuspecting male prey, asking them if she made the wrong decision. Any smile on Riane's lips slowly vanished as Cissa pressed her body against her date's, feeling the warm touch of her hand falling onto her own as their eyes locked in a silent property struggle. The mood had shifted - while they tried to veil their insults towards one another before, it now seemed that they were just coming straight out and saying it, now. The size-shifter, ever the diplomat, she was quickly finding, praised them both, which earned a grateful smile from the brunette as she looked up to him once more. That smile, too, vanished when the blonde continued that she'd been in his lap more than she'd spent time with Felix. For the first time in awhile, her eyes moved over to the speedster, though they didn't linger long. He was officially dead to her for the rest of the evening, perhaps the rest of his natural life. Perhaps even the afterlife, if he wasn't careful. He just stood there and watched as his date deliberately tried to run Raine off. Even as the dwarf of a blonde leaned up to plant a kiss on Aren's cheek, the brunette didn't dare look away from the Omega leader, the tension of her lips from clenched teeth the only indication that any of it was getting to her. At this point, while it did have something to do with the guys involved, she was really just sick of the Omega leader thinking that she could own everyone on her team. And now, she was more just pissed off that her supposed friends let it happen. Over and over again. The only thing that kept her skin from glittering with exposed electricity was the traced circle on her lower back - Aren's reminder that he was here with her and despite the situation, it was where he intended to stay. And so, she let it go…for now. Taking a large drink from her cup of punch, she chuckled at Aren's appreciative comment of her trust that he wouldn't take advantage of her drinking, shaking her head when he expressed his reservations about what they would think of him if he wasn't true to his word. Narcissa slipped away from her date and back into Felix's arms before grabbing a drink from a passing server and extending it towards the size shifter. He gave in, accepting the cup and taking a drink from it, accompanied by muffled words. Raine followed suit, her head tilting to rest against his arm for a moment before laughing at his suggestion that the boys would not be babysitting the girls so much as filming the adventure and posting it for the rest of the world to see. Reaching out and giving him a soft pinch on the arm, she shook her head. " I don't think so, Mister," she responded simply, accepting the drink as he offered it to her. She wanted to chug the whole thing right then and there, but she refrained. If she were going to have to spend the rest of the night with Narcissa, a a dead man, and Aren, she was going to have to pace herself. Otherwise, this might in act turn into some sort of war that none of them were prepared to deal with. Felix asked if she was really worried about waking up along, and Raine had to snort back a laugh as the hand holding her cup came up to cover her amused expression. " I don't think she should be worried. Like she said, she's spent a lot of time in Omega laps - shouldn't make finding a bedmate too terribly difficult. Especially in that dress." Raising her cup ever so slightly in the blonde's direction, sparing Felix no more than a passing glance, the brunette cast a bright, and yes, apologetic smile, up at Aren. She couldn't help herself - that one had pretty much been laid out for her...

Alpha: Oh some of these Alpha's may turn out to be able to have some fun yet. Lillian was amused by Aurelie's reactions to her actions and words. The blonde TK user was a fun one to be around and took things well enough. Some might of run screaming from Lillian by now. "Given the clothes she sent that does not surprise." As things went on Lillian quirked an eyebrow at the girl next to her. "Oh what ever do you mean dear Aurelie? Do you fear for my sanity?" She said with a smirk and an evil gleam in her eyes. It didn't last long as she started to laugh at the girls expression. "No no I am fine. It's just fun on occation to cackle like a mad scientist you know?" Of course to Lillian doing so was normal everyone broke out into maniacle laughter now and then right. -------------------------- When Aurie stated that her sister would never learn of who convinced her to wear her current outfit. "Smart move there." Lillian said with a wink. Prom was in full swing an motion as music pumped through the speakers and couples danced. As well as other around the room and even outside enjoying some fresh air. "If you do. You know you have to dance some with me too missy." Lillian said matter of factly. Sure she promised to not force her to dance nothing about if she did dance, not to make her dance some with her as well. Lillian giggled as Aurie squarely placed blame on her for her presence at prom. "Oh I don't know if I had everything to do with it. I think good genetics had something to do with it as well hot stuff. But I am flattered you credit me for all of it." Lillian said smiling brightly and sweetly to those around her. Tara and Thomas took her compliments to their appearence in stride. Nice to see some that didn't get big head when given a compliment. "Aurie you make it sound like you didn't enjoy it. Besides the prod wouldn't of been needed if you weren't stubborn as a mule when you want to be." Lillian said bumping the blonde with her hip as she spoke. Her tone spoke purely of fun and joking over her stressing the word prod when speaking with Leo and the others.. "One doesn't have that look in their eyes just from surprise." She whispered in Aurelie's ear so others wouldn't hear. Her attention returned to Leo as he said he needed to properly thank her. Oh and she got to name how of fun. Just before she said something when Tara pipped in saying she should hold on to that offer of favor. "Oh I plan to. One can not be to hasty with such offerings. It's like a wish, one has to think very very carefully about such things." She said looking back directly at Leo. "I will get back to you on what that will be dear boy." She said smiling sweetly to the animal mimic. Lillian poured herself a glass of punch and turned to the others. "Anyone else care for a cup?" She took a sip of the drink as she heard Leo's comment on guarding the punch bowl. "To late for the punch." Lillian said making a face. Man these kids need to learn how to do things properly. But then again college frat parties are known to have worse tasting things served since all they care about is being wasted. And from the kick in this cup some people are gonna get messed up. So she decided it was best to treat the drink like a large shot downing the cup so she wouldn't have to taste it to much. "I think this is now to go by fun time punch. Cause I see this lossening things up for many many in here." Lillian heard Aurie offer her up as a date for Thomas well the two of them actually. Looking to Aurelie she put on her best pouty face. "We didn't come unescourted we came escourted by each other. Am am I not a good enough date for you?" She asked the blonde TK user. She was just messing around after all. Lillian had planned on getting at least one dance in with both Kerri and Cissa. But that would require getting them away from their current company. Lillina took another 'shot' of the punch as she heard her being offered up as a dance partner. "You are already trying to be rid of me? Besides I am sure Thomas here would prefer a dance partner he could actually touch." Lillian was about to explain how it wasn't that she minded dancing with him it was just she knew most guys preferred a girl they could well you know get close to. But her attention was diverted as Tara tried to steal Aurie out onto the dance floor. "Tara dear I should at least get the first dance with my date before you try to steal her away." She said putting her hands on her hips. Sure Lillian thinks Aurie should get out there and dance even though she promised not to force her to dance. So this was her veiled way of helping her get out of dancing without saying but she doesn't want to dance made me promise not to make her. Though if she were to go one what she had seen of Tara tonight she figured that might not get the blonde out of dancing. That and she hoped Aurie wouldn't be to upset on Lillian continually calling her her date. Maybe everyone needed some of the fun time punch to lossen things up. Lillian spied Kerri out the corner of her eye. She and her date Roland had come over to the punch bowl. Well if her date was going to be stolen she should steal another one. And they hey they could all dance together and have a good time. So what if in the process they made many guys in the place have some uncomfortable tightness in their pants from it. It would be four seriously hot ladies dancing out on the floor. So that decided it for Lillian Kerri must dance some more. "Why not we make this a group dance ladies if dance we must. I spy a fiery red head who would make a lovely addition to round our group out to four." She turned to the guys with them. "Sorry gentlemen. But this dance shall be ladies only. So unless you can shape shift to grow some boobs and remove the dingus it's a no go for you." And with that she was off to snag herself a red head. Moving through the people Lillian went up behind Kerri and grabbed her hips to tug her towards the dance floor. "I am stealing your hot date for a dance on the dance floor big man. Kay thanks bye." Lillian said with a wink to Roland as she tried to get Kerri on the dance floor. "So lets go red you gotta dance with me!"

Siege Airport/Office/Prom Welcome, now suit up! Earlier that day… Gabriel had a long flight. It was an early morning flight out of Vegas to New York City. He landed at JFK Airport, had to deal with a crying baby on the flight, but he had to thank his parents for getting him some sound-cancelling headphones. He almost read a kid the Riot Act for kicking his chair through half the damn flight. He almost had half a mind to let one of his drones loose. They were prototypes, so the idea of a playful prank could have turned into a National Security issue. Nothing would suck more than to be detained in New York and then shipped off to Gitmo, that would make for an interesting phone call home. Not that he would get a phone call anyway. But regardless, he made his way out of the plane to the terminal without much trouble. He had to have his equipment shipped over separately, made him miss his computer quite a bit. Luckily he was able to track it all on his PDA, a Frankenstein of various computer parts and a touch screen system. He had it tuned to what he needed to use it for his work at the shop. And it had a variety of other bits, including his little drones. He definitely needed to fine tune them a bit when they got here, probably modify them to handle the colder temperatures. Perhaps reinforce the armor and winterize the circuitry? He’d have to figure it out when he got to the school. He was picked up by a man that wore red sunglasses, which Gabriel predicted was Scott Summers, one of the two head honchos of the Institute. He shook his hand as he was lead out to the car, the two of them started to talk. Simple small talk really, how the flight was that sort of thing. Normally, Gabriel would have a hard time with this but Scott made things a bit easier. He was a relaxing person to be around, no kind of aura of uneasiness came from him. Of course he was talking to the leader of the X-Men, and the supervisor of the Junior team Alpha. Likely when things got down to it, the guy would likely lock it down. “So are there any questions you have?” Scott asked him as they got into the car. Gabriel looked at him, “Just one, is there any chance I’d be able to have a small space for a workshop? I hope to be able to do a few jobs for the shop out here, you know to make some money.”Scott looked at him with a slightly raised eyebrow, “You do realize we’re a school right? I mean I spoke to your father about this, but I feel like having a small illegal gun shop would raise some questions.”“Oh no, it wouldn’t be illegal. I’m already working on getting the proper permits, with my dad’s assistance.” he replied to him, “I want to take all precautions for doing this. Of course, with your permission and supervision.”They made their way down the road out to the Institute, “We’ll have to discuss it further at the Institute.”It took them about 45 minutes to make it back to the school, which made Gabriel stare at in wonder. The school was quite beautiful, the architecture was rather unbelievable. He had to wonder just how the hell this mansion had such a nice facility inside. Of all things, some of the elements in it would have had to compromise the old architecture at this point. “Well, here we are! You can bring your stuff to your room, and if you’re interested there is the Prom tonight. I know it may not be much, but I know the majority of the teams will be there.” he was a bit uneasy at the prospect of Prom. He wasn’t too keen on going to his own prom. But the reality is that he needed to do this, so he took a deep breath and exhaled. “I’ll see about it, have a good day Mr. Summers.”Later that night…Gabriel got his tie right, after about the fifth time he did it. He’d spent about a half an hour considering whether or not to bring his pistol, but ultimately decided against it. Bringing a gun to Prom just would not sound too good. He had a few suits, something his parents insisted he bring in the event he had to attend a formal event and so he chose to wear his white one. He made his way over to the Prom, the entire time having a bit of an attack on the nerves. He decided to walk around the place, psych himself up a bit before he made his way into the event. He looked up to the evening sky, a pleasant night. Not much light pollution made the night sky look quite nice. It was fortunate that he got to see a bit of a new skyline, but he got the opportunity to enjoy himself quite a bit in the cool air. He continued to make his way about, finally making it inside the building for the dance. He saw a lot of people standing around, some dancing, as he made his way to the punch. What caught his eye were a rather attractive dark-skinned woman (Isabella), and what appeared to be either a friend or a date (Blake). They seemed to be chatting about something, perhaps catching up? He wasn’t paying too much attention. He decided to keep his distance, not wanting to intrude on any possible sensitive conversations. “Don’t mind me, just a new guy walking to get some punch.” he muttered to himself, hoping to god he wasn’t heard over the music. He wanted to get an idea of who these people were through observation, and then converse. Which likely with his luck, was not going to happen.

"Ya'll Never Stop... You keep me on My Job.... And they be trying to Copy and Paste Me... Copy and Paste Me" "I'm on.... And I be in my zone... And they be trying to Copy and Paste me... Copy and Paste Me..." "Copy and Paste me" "I'm Gone" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Marcel Porter ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Marcel watched as Jacen began explaining his abilities. To an extent, it made him curious about his capabilities. He then took note of his own abilities. Would it help him out a whole lot better if they had paired up in a fight together. The thought left him with an answer which was "maybe." They could find out later, but it didn't matter. What did matter was that they both were in suits that bored the crap out of Marcel and that they were at an event that was even more boring at the moment. That made him think of things he could do. He looked at his reflection and went into deep thought, but not before speaking to Jacen. "You mean the secret passageways littered everywhere underground and the ones above ground? That's boring. I bored myself fiding their locations. Let me think for a sec."
His train of thought returned once more. He thought about what they could do on the campus. There was this Noise After the Storm thought. They could go in and act like they were drunk, use their powers and wreck the place and make things rowdy enough to cause a riot of why they were in horrible suits that Marcel defined to be worse than straight jackets. They could act like police guards and hound down the non-mutants that were there for the event. That sounded like something that was a part of American History and just about as bad as Magneto. That took him back to those days of when they were on Spring Break. He had managed to help out more than he realized it.
That was all of his thoughts on what they could do at this event. Now he had to think about all the things they could do off the campus, For starters, they would be able to ditch the suits and wear something more comfortable for them. Then they could raid the city which made him think of a phrase: "Mutants Gone Wild!" That would be funny. New York under siege again by mutants. He also thought about the protests that were taking place about mutants against mutants registering. It would be lively to go to one of those events. Then he also thought about the clubs. He never been to one and now didn't seem like a bad time to give it a whirl. All the things he heard about those places sounded lively enough for him. Or they could go shopping in a toned down fashion of what he heard about how girls coined that phrase like crazy. He did want to invest in some new arsenal especially for his suit. That would be a better idea.
After juggling the thoughts in his head and weighing them on the scale, it was obvious which solution was best. They should dip out and have some random adventure out in the soon to be night-filled city. All of the city lights in full bloom. They should also make sure they are out of harm's way as well. He looked at Jacen and then shrugged some. "If it doesn't get lively anytime soon, want to dip out and venture out into the city? I'm sure there are tons of things out there that could keep us satisfied than the torture taking place here. We'd even be able to ditch these clothes." "Copy, Paste. Copy, copy, paste" "They be trying to Copy and Paste me" "I'm Gone" ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ Team: Alpha Code Name: Tsunami Location: Frontier University: Outside Ability: Hydrokinesis Thoughts: At least I have something to do for now ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀
