" I thought the lesson here was to ' go with the flow ' but apparently I'm wrong... " Angel said, then jumped back, once again standing at the edge of the pole-filled ravine. She slowly stepped onto the 1st pole, and brought her other leg to the one beside it, managing to stand somewhat straight up without any loss of balance. Slowly, she went forward, making it about halfway across with only a few minro slips of balance, but staying atop the poles with more ease than before.

Trey mosied over to Labrynth, finishing his food at his own pace.

"So, what are we doing?" he asked.

"You think too much, Angel. You have no time in battle to think. Hence why I must condition your reflexes before I condition your mind. Though now that you mention it, that sounds like sage-like wisdom to use later on for other students sent my way that I must take despite my protest." Labrynth looked at Trey, all sense of hope and jovility gone.

"Ask your friend. She can actually eat in a timely manner. Or, if that does not befit you, perhaps just watchign what she does will help you figure out what your task will to be. Make it to the other side."

Looking at each hand in the new case, she stops her Force Choke on the women, thankful that she didn't have to do anything...permanent to her. "Well, well, well. It looks like you have something better afterall! You should never act superior to a Sith, no matter her rank, as something....unpleasant will often times occur." Using her lightsaber to gesture, she points to one of the hands in the case. "That one looks close to my hand, but I expect a better one for me later, a more exact replica. Otherwise you shall get a....personal visit from me."

"Jedi Virtue 1 is patience, is it not?" he said as he followed Angel through.

"Learn it."

"How you ever survived half as long as you did boggles me. You are the jedi, I am not. If anything, I should test your patience." Saying this, he hit a small button and turned on a small power generator, which would slightly make the poles joggle up and down.

After a good night's rest, Mordranna went to fetch Rekan. "Good morning, learner. It seems I've heard a story from one of the locals here." With a thoughtful expression, she continued. "A test. We shall make way for Sildar's Isle,"

" Whoa... " Angel let out, as the sudden motion of the poles caused her to start to lose her balance. After a few moments of adjusting, she managed to regain her balance despite the motion, and studied the pattern of the movements. She continued her way across, timing her steps with the movement of the poles, negating its effect. Whether by skill or luck, she finally made it across. " You claim to not be a Jedi, yet you trained N-... " she cut herself short, not wanting Labrynth to go into another rant from hearing Neb's name. " ... Ah, why do I bother? " she then sat down, half meditating and half watching Trey, to see how he does.

"To answer your thought, I trained Ace how to become an agressive salvager, not a Jedi. And I lost everything for it. There is a difference. My training requires a level head. And that is precisely why the urchin took so long to get his head straight. Always snapping back, throwing items, getting flustered. Never has a temper so horrid been seen since his. That's how Jack lost his left arm, got thrown by Ace into one of our machines. I need not discuss the gore and mess afterwards." Labrynth shifted, and the subject went with him.

"You'll be training on these poles for the next two weeks, or until you become proficient enough to fight one another with all the obstacles, save but blasters. But don't worry, I'll turn them on especially for you," he said, giving a grin and a somewhat sadistic laugh. "Call it incentive."

Trey manuevered the poles with ease, jumping was one of his specialties as a Sith Knight.

"Neb," you mean, he said to Angel who had cut her sentence short.

" Trey, you idiot... " Angel thought, having forseen the doubtless rant she is sure is about come from the old man. Quickly changing the subject in hopes of sparing herself and Trey the ramblings about Neb again, she said to Labrynth, " If I didn't know any better, I'd think you enjoy making us look like idiots. "

After perfroming a sweep of the house, killing anything hostile in each of the 116 room he found, an hour had passed, and he was very, VERY, annoyed. There was no sign of that damn Kaminoan. He must have given him the...wait...that painting seems awful big to be on a wall. He rapped it twice with his knuckles. Durasteel, just as he thought.

Grinning under his helm, he bruoght out a breaching charge set it, and casually strolled to the other end of the hall. There was a bang, and he advanced on the exposed staircase while wiping the dust from his face. His descent was absolutely silent. No noise was produced by each step, such was his stealth. There were a multitude of steps, and by the time he saw the bottom he figured he must have been a kilometer underground. The room wasn't huge maybe 10 meters by 10 meters, and it was dark, except for one thing. A figure was hanging from the wall. It was haloed in light. "By the wind...no" Tal gasped as he realized who itw as.

General Grievous, the Butcher of a thousand worlds was hanging, deactivated from an Entechment rig.
An entechment rig that had seen use.

"Magnificent isn't he?" came a sibilant voice from the shadows. His right arm moved independently, drawing one of his DC-17s and aiming at the head of the Kaminoan as he emerged from the shadows. "The ultimate warrrior, unbound by mortal chains," said Ne, his eyes completely bloodshot. "But he's a Cyborg, you can't bring him back..." The assassin said, still completely in shock. "This is true, and finding a completer sample of his ruined genetic material was...difficult...but money can get you anything...however I still had a problem, for some reason his cloned organs were completely inert. I needed something to kickstart them. I needed the life of another. In fact I needed 6 others, but that's just because they were weak," Ne said as he smiled, "He needs but one more, and then i can deliver him to the Sith! To lead their armies again! The Republic shall burn under his taloned foot, and all I need is one more soul. All I need is you." "You are completely insane," Replied the Angel of Death as more lights appeared in the darkness. Electrostaves.

Switching spectrums to nigh vision, and activating his Personal Deflector Shields his gauntlet shattergun ended one, then a second MagnaGuard as they hurled themselves at him. Drawing his Vibroblades in an instant, tossing a concussion grenade as he did, blowing one of the MagnaGuards back into a wall, as he fought this one. He stayed away from any of the Jedi forms he'd picked up, he used only Echani techniques. Viper parried Shii-cho, Dragon defeated Makashi, and finally, he leapt over the droids head, performing the Whisper parts the Silk, a complex move that brought a 5 centimeter cut into the froid from top to bottom, parting it's armor, and creating a hole just large enough to insert a plasma grenade. A third MagnaGuard was now scrap.

That left one...oh wait...there he was. A tip of an electrostave shot into his torso, and sent him flying back this time. He kipupped, nursing a very bruised stomach, while his shields recycled, having been the only thing that kept him alive. Tal'dras dove at the automaton, bringing both his blades in a blurring combination that sent the MagnaGuard back and very much on the defensive. Using Raptor, he managed to intercept each of the droids ripostes, and fought him back 5 meters into the center of the room. Their duel continued here, seemingly stalemated. Until Tal sprung his trap that was. He hurled himself into the air, tucking himself into a ball and performing the Mantis' Dismembers his Rival, extending both blades as he spun, first knocking the staff high, and the cutting both of the droids arms off. The droid turned, cvonfused as to why it's mandibles were no longer attached to it's body. Tal performed a double X cut, rendering the rest of the droid into scrap.

Breathing hard as he turned, he saw Thal Ne embracing his creation, and caressing it lovingly, as a parent would a child. "Soon...just one more life...sooon," he cooed. Tal'dras shot the cray kriff in the back 6 times, killing him. He took a sample of his charred flesh for proof, and attached a Permacrete charge to the body of the inert General. Before he left the area heinserted a hackcard into the panel on the wall, launching a custom tailored virus that coaxed all the data from it's innards. He took the now data-engorged card back, collected the Electrostave of the Magnaguard he'd dueled as a trophy and sprinted (although laboriously, he had quite the bruise) up the stairs. He attached charges to the rest of the foundations of the hous, and strode quietly from the main entrance, activating the detonators as he went.

There was one helluva bang and the mansion collapsed, utterly ruined. The Night Falcon was waiting, idling outfront. He mounted and shot back to the city, his mission very complete.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He stretched as Dex parsed the data he'd brought in. The Medpack had cleared up the damage he'd taken, although he was still pretty sore. Using techniques he knew, he stretched and removed the soreness, using other muscles to quiet the nerves that were causing the trouble. realizing he'd forgotten to, he transferred 20,000 credits (one from each contract) to his "In-Case-I-Need-A-New-Ship" fund. He'd been transferring 10,000 Credits a contract there for about 5 years now, making the grand total about 2 and a Half Million credits there, making no fighter outside his grasp, should he ever need one. He spent a further 10,000 getting a triple redundant KE powercell for his PDS. Which not only increased the activation life of his shields, and allowed them to soak up more damage, it also absorbed kinetic energy from damage they took, using it to power the shield, it also stripped energy to the powercells, allowing it a theoretically infinite life, although it was more like just a long one.

It took another hour to finish that data. It was bank accounts, movements etc. mostly benign. Wait...what was that... There the location of a Sith base... this was important. He had to bring this to someone, and the Issue of Chrono he'd read had given him just the person. Mordrana Brunhildt.

He knew her as the Sapphire Valkyrie, because they'd met only briefly when she was a Stormtrooper commander. Tal'dras wondered if she remembered him. "Dexter, scan all traffic off of Yavin IV for the last 3 days, I want to know where Mordrana Brunhildt is right now." he said as he began to train with his Vibroblades. The droid chirped, very annoyed. "I know it's encrypted...hack it." That took another hour, but Dexter finally intoned "Wonderful! Corellia!" he said, genuinely happy, he loved Corellia and hadn't been there in about a year, much to his chagrine. "Now, hack CorSec and see if there is anything in there about her." This took another hour. His R9 was one of the best Slicers he'd ever seen, but these were very encrypted networks...but there was finally a report of Mordrana being in the southlands.

He strode to the cockpit, and shot from the Atmosphere and headed to the Jump Point, blurred into the Blue tunnel of Hyperspace, headed towards Corellia...

"Humility leads to modesty. Modesty leads to Peace. Peace leads to boredom. Boredom leads to angst. Angst leads to hostility. Hostility leads to a bigger paycheck for me."

For the next several weeks, Labrynth upped the training, eventually making half the poles disappear, and also much less rooted in the ground. Of course, he eventually brought blasters to track the targets, to provide a painful sting for any mistakes.

Coupling with this, he continued training with the vibroswords, rapping the knuckles of the pair with his cane for each mistake made. Progress would move quite quickly with Lab in charge.

DC rubbed his neck and winced.

" I just need you to put your hand in the scanner......" He motioned to the device next to him.

No good slagging......... Ill get her back for that. DC thought.
