It's not really the rank or any other little thing that's the problem, even if they are part of it. It's just the entire idea of the skill. I may be wrong, but to me this skill is basically a summoning skill but with no limits. Not to mention, it brings in a completely different rpc so it's even stronger than what a summon should be in a lot of cases. Heck, it's stronger than one of my rpc's talents, which really shouldn't happen. Sure, necromancers have something like this, but they're limited to dead people who can't learn more stuff and who aren't rped by other rpers. That, and summoning the dead is the core of a necromancer's abilities, unlike this skill and mages.
Also mages don't need others fighting for them. From the sounds of it, you made this skill with the idea that mages are not meant to go into direct confrontation, which I take to mean that they can't fight for themselves. Sure, they aren't physically strong but (correct me if I'm wrong) they can easily make up for physical strength with their truckload of defensive and offensive skills. That, coupled with the chances of a mage running out of energy being very low, they aren't exactly what one would call a support class. Actually, it's often been mentioned that mages are one of the strongest classes.
Lastly, have you ever heard of a guild that allows people to summon other rpcs to help them in their fights? I know that this isn't a very strong point to make seeing how each guild is different from another but there must be a good reason behind the fact that most (if not all) guilds don't let rpcs summon other rpcs.

Kagetsukiko Manpish: Buster- Approved. Cross-Slash- Approved. Royal Stab- Approved. Energy Slash- Approved. Quick Sword- Wait a minute.... Manpish, do you happen to read a manga called Claymore? First of all, I hope you know that even if this skill requires only one hand, all other skills for the claymore require two hands and are not going to be able to used quickly. Just want to make sure of that. Second of all, I think I'm going to let Fenrir decide on this skill sweatdrop . It sounds fair, it's just that I'm worried it'll erase one of the claymore's major weaknesses: the lack of attack speed. Wind Cutter- Wait, are you trying to say that an S-rank attack doesn't need an energy cost to use or that there is no energy channeled into the sword? If it's the former, then no, this skill can't be approved. Quicksword: yes i read Claymore =P....... this skill is A-rank thus the energy in your hand that you focus will give you the strength to hold it one handed..... but yeah, have Fenny look over it. Wind Cutter: No energy channeled into the sword. you still have to channel it into your hand though. but its a high burst of energy.....

Manpish: Windcutter- Okay, can you specify that in the description please because I kind of thought that you were trying to say that the skill didn't require any energy at all. Do that, and it's approved 3nodding . As an S-rank attack, I think it's fair enough for it to allow the claymore to attack quickly.... I think....

Awesome. but i want you too look it over again please before deciding.... i want to get this skill perfect the first time. Skill name: Wind Cutter Rank: S If it uses ammo how much: 0 Limits: user must wield a Claymore Skill description: A Lightning-fast attack allowing the user to draw, slash and re-sheath their sword in an instant. While slower than Quicksword, it is more accurate and needs no energy in the sword, the user still has to channel it into your hand though. but its a high burst of energy (B-ranked)..... allowing the user to perform continuously without tiring very easily (Can preform for 25 posts, then must wait 30 before being able to use it again.). This technique is the hardest to master, but once mastered becomes an offensive and defensive attack.

@Kage: ah sorry lol yes angle. And yeah, the original one was making it as hard as steel and was approved, but I lost it so...yea. So yeah it'll be only a rank gained in hardness. While your correct as far as possibly increasing rank, I could use other skills to make it harder to inflict damage. So...can it remain the same because there is those who are like draconian mage so the defense they can use ya know?

RPC name: Typhon Edarryu Is it a Free skill?: yes Type of skill: draconian Skill name: Razor Scale Barrage Rank: C Limits: Sand Paper Scales Skill description: A technique used in combination of Sand Paper Scales, as it cannot be used unless during the active state of the skill. Infusing the scales with energy, the draconian can launch their scales from their body at a target, turning them into a storm of slicing scales. The scales can cut into material as hard as themselves or weaker. After use, the draconian will have no scales, making them weak to physical blows (physical skills gain one rank against scaless draconians) for two posts. At the end of the second post, the draconian will of fully regrew their scales.
(Another skill that was approved before, just resubmitting it. After using this kage draconians are scaleless, for two posts. making close combat stronger against them until the second posts ends)
Is it a Free skill?: Yes Type of skill: draconian Skill name: Predatory Roar Rank: C Skill description: A technique all dragons and draconians alike know, since the beginning of time. Dragons often roar to demonstrate rage, challenging, or simply to inflict fear or show domanince. By amplifying the sound from the vocal cords inside the draconian's throat with energy, and unleashes a roar. The roar will be in comparison to that of a full grown dragon, enough force to knock back anyone who is before them within 10ft and blast their eardrums enough to make them deaf for two posts. Those with sensative senses would take double the damage. In dragon form the power of this skill and distance increases two fold. After use the user must wait two posts before using this skill once more to let the vocal cords recover.
Is it a Free skill?: No Type of skill: personal Skill name: Primal Rage Rank: C Limits: Must be Draconian Skill description: Typhon's rage peeks and out of rage becomes stronger, his primal instincts taking over thus pure energy pumping through his veins. Strength increases by 2 ranks and speed by one, and all draconian skills gain power (+1 ) for three posts. However, in return ONLY draconian skills can be used and everyone becomes a target if close enough. After three posts, the user becomes relatively calm and stats return to normal along with being incapable of reaching Primal State for five posts due to the pressure and energy boost that brought Typhon into primal state to begin with. Sample I'll fill it out if description isn't enough, but basically the draconian gets in touch with its primal self, increasing its powers and dragon skills for three posts, but only dragon skills can be used and anyone around you becomes a target. So this can put allies in danger as well. After use, it cannot be done again for five posts.

Shruikan: Ugh, after this batch, it's Fenrir's turn stare . I need to do my homework and finish up some stuff for other guilds gonk . Razor Scale Barrage- Approved. Predatory Roar- Approved. Primal Range- Write an rp sample. While part of the reason why we require rp samples for personal skills is to clear up any discrepancies, we also require them to make you work for the personal skill (at least, that's how I've seen it). Other than that, it's good.

Sample
Typhon once more got hit across the face from the vampire who was getting real cocky with him. Despite being slightly slower, it was getting to where he was getting more and more pissed. His rage was at its boiling point, energy was surging through his body as the inner dragon broke free. His instincts overcame him as he saw red. His only objective, was to destroy. His body began trembling as his rage consumed him. The vampire coming to him again, Typhon's eyes dialated, matching his anscestors and he opened his mawl, releasing a monstrous roar. The roar was stronger then before, more dragon like then ever and filled with rage and power. The vampire covered his ears and was blasted back several feet. His ears ringing painfully, almost like they broke and he couldn't hear anything. As he looked up, his eyes widen as Typhon some how closed the distance between the two already. He was faster then before, now on par with the vampire. (we'll say his speed is 7 to match vamps). The vampire did a backflip to get distance, though Typhon merely used his momentum to spin around, his tail coming around fast from the burst of strength and struck the vampire on the side, throwing him through the air crashing into the sides of the coliseum. The vampire yelled in pain, his hip bone crushed and bleeding on the stone as he tried to get up. Looking up he saw Typhon, who was in the air. Using Gaining Air, the draconian was now in the air and dropped down onto the vampire's location. Thrusting his foot out, teeth bared from fustration Typhon's falling momentum was used with his strength, his heavy foot slaming down on the vampire with so much force the benches shattered and a tremor was felt in the coliseum. A crator was made in the side, and a fierce roar sounded off into the night.
That should do it...that help any? And yes this is all for today from me XD

If I closed the skill to just Liliana (since she's more a support character than a fighting character) would this be able to work? I don't know much about other guilds but this is something I would like to at least test-run to see if it is a viable skill. If it seems like it is OP in play, I'll remove it immediately. No questions asked.

As soon as he finished the word fire swirled once around the suit, and then an explosion surrounded him blasting out in a spherical pattern around him. The resulting explosion tore up some of the ground, and lit a nearby tree ablaze. The bat swarm was nowhere to be found. RPC name: Kaelrikk Cross Is it a Free skill?: No. Type of skill: Personal Technique Skill name: Holy Nova Rank: Skill Rank D

Skill description: This skill uses the power of the armor to create a large blast-wave light energy. Sample: The ghost merely teased him as he continued to try and hit it. It was too fast for him. He had an idea. He focused his energy into the suit and took a stance. The suit flashed once with white light before erupting into a golden explosion of light. The explosion bent a nearby pole as it hit the ghost, causing it to silently scream in agony. "Didn't think you could dodge that, did you?" He said as he finished it off. RPC name: Kaelrikk Cross Is it a Free skill?: No. Type of skill: Personal Technique Skill name: Retribution Nova Rank: Skill Rank C

Skill description: This skill uses the power of the armor to create a large blast-wave of holy fire and destruction. Sample: Kaelrikk had about enough of the group of skeletons. He decided to put an end to them for good. He threw up his arms, letting a large portion of his energy flow into the suit. White fire swirled once around it as it flashed with a white light for just a split second. A large explosion of white holy fire burst from around Kael. It tore up the catacomb floor, and pushed against the ceiling almost collapsing the place. The skeletons stood only moments in the blast before crumbling into dust. Satisfied, Kaelrikk continued his search.

Username: Killer Purple Fuzzy Bunny
RPC name: Liliana
Is it a Free skill?: no
Type of skill: Mage
Skill name: Pactio
Rank: C
If it uses ammo how much: N/A
Limits: Must be with an RPC. It can only be done with willing participants. Cannot be done with another mage or classes that cannot go into direct confrontations.
Skill description: Entering into a magic-bound contract with someone else, you create a card as proof of the contract. For all contracts, it will allow you to call an RPC to your side to help in battle. The maximum distance that person can be is within the nation. It takes B Rank energy to destroy the card and nullify the contract.
This will have a different effect boost for the other person in the contract based on the class you make the contract with. These effects only last for the fight. Those are as follows:
Mechanist: Can activate up to 3 machines where the mage pays the cost Ranger: Imbue the arrows with D-Rank power of the element of the mage. The mage pays the energy cost for each arrow Shadowknight: Mages pays the extra 10 energy for skills used. Swordmaster: Their weapon is wrapped in D Rank of the mage's element. Mage pays D rank at arrival and 10 afterward Berserker: Allow healing during battle. Up to D Rank wounds that the mage pays Assassin: Same for Rangers Trickster: grants a 1 rank boost to speed Paladin: Mages pays the extra 5 energy for skills used. Knight: Gains extra protection with or without armor to withstand one rank higher of attacks. The mage takes the energy difference. Gunslinger: Transforms one gun into a Gatling gun and all ammo into ammo for the gun. The weight of it slows the gunslinger down by two ranks.
Because of the nature of this skill, the mage is only able to support during the fight, at most using C rank element skills and no weapon/hand-to-hand skills.
Sample: Liliana brought the swordmaster closer. "Are you completely sure about this? I'm not too sure these are breakable." The swordmaster nodded, ready to make this contract with the mage seer. A circle of magic opened beneath her as she chanted the incantation in a low voice. Once the power was set in motion, Liliana pulled the swordmaster down to her for a brief, chaste kiss. A card materialized out of nowhere and floated into her hand. It depicted the swordmaster wielding a flaming sword along with some latin information. "It's done," she breathed in happy relief.
(I have the PSD for making the cards. When someone enters into a Pactio, I can make it personalized for them.))
