"Let's do that, then," Leverne said, "I'll go with you, if you think you can carry both me and your squire. If we don't find him, we'll slip past the southern ruins to confirm his story - we won't need to get close if I'm along."
The fae hesitated.
"I... don't have a sword, but if you have a bow, I'm a fair shot..."

"It should be no problem," nodded Warden as he stretched out his wings to prepare for this next flight, "Since it is part Fae, will you be able to sense it at all?"
If that was the case, it would make things easier, but neither dragon nor human knew the extent of Fae abilities. Not only that but the fact that the Reborn wasn't quite a complete Fae any longer at this point.
"In that case, you're free to borrow my spare bow for the time being. It may make things a little easier on us... I'll go fetch it quickly," Jace said before hopping down from the dragon's back. After leaving for a minutes, he returned with another bow and quiver and presented it to Leverne.

Leverne took the bow gratefully and slung it over his shoulder. He moved carefully, mindful of his wound.
"I should be able to sense it once we get close," Leverne said, "I'm ready to go whenever you are."

Nodding to the Fae Champion, Jace remounted Warden. Once everyone was set, the dragon took flight once more, not wasting time to head back towards where they had last seen the Fae. Should Fate be kind to them, the Reborn wouldn't be far off from that area by the time they arrive back to the scene.

Ruscar glanced back just in time to see a bolt of lightning heading for him. The Reborn dodged, but not quickly enough to avoid the full blast. He felt some electricity painfully tear its way up from his tail. He let out a pained screech, now only able to clumsily weave through the trees. He refused to slow though, instead choosing to amass a multitude of cuts and bruises from smashing against trees.
“You don't want to kill a Fae,” argued the Reborn pitifully. He slowed a tinge, dividing his attention to manipulate the trees as he flew through them. The ancient plants bent in the way of his Fallen pursuer.

The Reborn had managed to dodge the bulk of the attack, much to the Fallen's disappointment. But that didn't deter him really. The Reborn wouldn't be able to keep things up forever, so if he was persistent enough he would probably be able to get what he wanted. Granted something doesn't get in his way and all.
"I don't see why I wouldn't. Though I suppose I could just take an arm or a leg," he mused darkly before continuing the chase. The trees were bending to get into his path, which did slow him down some, but his answer to that was to start blasting the branches with arcs of lightning, sending shards of wood all around.
---
"Thunder?"
The skies were clear and there were no signs of storm clouds as far as the squires could see, but the sound of thunder seemed rather close. Out in the distance, they were able to make out strange flashes of light which likely was the cause of the noise.
"That's not too far from where we last saw the Reborn. Seems like trouble may be ahead," commented Warden before picking up speed to see what was going on.

Ruscar let out a bitter chuckle in response to the fallen's words. He opened his mouth to respond, but quickly shut it again to avoid the shards of wood flying everywhere. The reborn let out a frustrated hiss, diving desperately into the thicker branches. He mumbled a quiet apology to the trees for their destruction.
“Not much meat. Doesn't taste good,” Ruscar managed to spit out. Ruscar then spun desperately, one claw seemingly flailing out randomly. A moment later, a powerful blast of fire was sent toward the reborn's pursuer.

"Humans say that all the time! Yet they tend to be rather tasty," the Fallen laughed while sending out bolt after bolt to clear the trees from his path. With all the splintering, he hardly saw the gesture the Reborn had made. Though, he saw the fire coming at him very well.
His bulk made it difficult to turn quickly so while he tried to move out of the way, the flames brushed past his side, singeing and burning some of the flesh there.
"RAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!" he roared in pain. Enfuriated, he sent his claws hand towards the sky to call down three large bolts of the black lightning down towards the Reborn's location.
---
As they approached, it was clear that some sort of battle was going on here between the lightning and fire. Not only that but close to the tree tops Warden could make out the figure of a large fallen dragon. He couldn't see what it was the dragon attacked, but he had a haunch it could very well be the Reborn.
"Leverne, is the Reborn nearby? I get the feeling it may be the one under fire here," Warden asked while continuing to advance, prepared to engage.

Dark hesitated to leave as the thought of possibly losing the Ranger filled his mind and he then focus on his previous instruction to fly away.
Micheal didn't say anything as he was doing everything he can to tell himself that this was something she could handle. Though hearing the stranger say that he was unarmed didn't make him feel at ease.
'we'll drop Roman off safe some place where he can go feed more, Then we'll come back.'
Dark flew up and headed up towards the mountains North.

"Too much magic being thrown around for me to tell!" Leverne called back, putting an arrow to the bowstring, "Get us closer. Whatever is going on, we need to find out and put a stop to the fighting."

Ira walked over to Bullseye and wrapped the vine around the dragon's neck then got up on him and position herself using the vine she waved her fingers over it in Fea and the vine wrapped around her and her legs tightly but not too tight with a smirk she patted Bullseye on the side. "I would like you to do this very slowly, and carefully, on the count of THREEEE!!!!!!!!!"
Bullseye jumped up in the air and let his wings flap to gain altitude, when he quit he dropped and then picked up his height by flapping really quickly.
So much for slowly, it took a few hours for him to understand how his body worked with the wings, and Tira let him learn all on his own with hints here and there.
"Ok lets head back to get some proper gear, and some food, while I find out our new objective."
Bullseyes enjoying the wing through his mane agreed with her thoughts and then took them both back to the camp, Where upon his landing he was lead to her campsite.
'Your going to tell her about Target?'
'Yes, you both were involved with the prince.'
'will this change anything'
'most likely not, but we will see.

Enduria swaying her hips when she walked through the trees squinting at the flash of lighting up ahead, actually blinding her seconds here and there from others in the sky. She lightly giggled seeing a Fallen pop out like a small dragling trying to get a small scrap of meat while being surrounded by flames, She shielded her eyes from the dark lighting and she slightly stepped carefully with good distance away from the Fallen, slightly twirling her fingers in the air.
"Hellloooooo!" Her voice cooed in a up to no good tone.

"One with magic is never unarmed," Jay answered with a snort. It was also the reason she was on her toes. She never saw the man use it but she saw the result of its effects to know better. A random thought crossed her mind and she wondered if the ground ever had leveled out in both places she had seen the disturbing ground formations.
"And lies like that are what make your former words true. But try me." Her sword made a rolled spin. "What story can you give me?" What could beat what she'd already experienced and seen the past two years? Inwardly she knew she should not ask, but this man had come out here for a reason and nothing had come from him... yet.
The question now was why? What brought this stranger out here far from where they had first met?
Then ground dust and ash began to kick up from behind her as Dark pumped his wings before lifting up and into the air, the winds stirring enough to press her braid over her shoulder and set her damaged cloak flapping.

@Blade/Astalder:
'If it only seems like yesterday, certainly you have not been keeping yourself busy enough. I won't begrudge you the need for some downtime, however, after that occurrence in Gen'yiel. For that reason you may best want to hurry on through here,' the dragon knight replied as they coasted over the trees. 'Whole area has been acting up, dragon and non alike.'
While the dragon half of the pair talked, the human knight seemed to continue to look around as they flew, looking back toward Blade and Astalder from time to time.
@Ares: The mage watched as the young dragon of unusual nature scampered away. When it was almost out of sight, he began to travel off in his own direction, unworried as to losing the pet he brought along.
After a time, the mage slowed down, silence matching his footfalls like a kiss of wind upon leaves. Creeping up behind a tree and peering past the rough bark trunk, he narrowed his eyes as he watched the figure move from tree to tree, from branch to ground, hurriedly moving before leaping into the next tree.
This was what he was hoping for and he smiled as he watched his prey travel unawares.
----
"Ares, I have a present for you," said the mage as he came up from behind the young dragon during whatever he was doing. He motioned to follow. "You know the hunting game you get to play back home. Then, you had a mouse or cat, sometimes even someone's dog to chase. This time I have something a bit bigger in mind..."
When they reached the end of the walk, there 'standing' before them was something that looked vaguely human, struggling to break the coils of dirt that held it up and kept it bound. The colors about it were all wrong though. Its skin was green like pine; the hair that topped its head the color of tiger lily petals. The tunic was a mix of multiple greens, as if a painter took the time to gather every single one together and put it on cloth.
Snakelike, the soil coiled around its arms, legs, and torso, as well as over his mouth preventing him from speaking but not enough to hide the sound completely. The one thing the coils left unbound though were the wings the being had, large dragonfly like wings that could barely be made out as they were beating rapidly behind it.

<> nodded Astalder.
So it seemed that the knights had some sense of what was going down around here. It was hard to say how much was actually known though. If they could figure that much out, they could bring the news to Kocerou upon their return. Most likely if the knights had any hand in the conflict they probably wouldn't side with the traitor... unless they knew the whole story? They couldn't be sure either way.
---
When the Mage had found the young dragon again, Ares had been making swipes at a butterfly in the air. He had managed to smack it towards the ground as he was addressed.
"A present? For me?" he repeated with interest. There was a gleam in his eyes, "Is it wrapped up in shiny paper?"
Without any hesitation he went on along to follow the Mage, pausing as he saw the funny looking thing ahead of them. Ares tilted his head at the sight of the being, having never seen anything like it.
"Wooaah... What is it? Can.. Can I keep it? Can I name it fluffy? I mean.. it's not really fluffy but.. that hair looks kinda floofy," he rambled on, not sure what the human had in mind exactly aside from chasing. Not that it mattered. It was a funny being and it intrigued him greatly.
