Oasis waited for a fair amount of time for the Kage to say anything, however when he didn't she simply sighed and bowed her head lightly "My request, was out of order KazeKage-sama." she states lightly before hopping down off the roof of the building to the streets below, the sand was now rather muddy beneath her feet and her usually spunky red hair was now wet and hanging lifelessly around her face. The whole day which had started off decently had become just as dreary as the weather. There was something she needed to investigate within herself, she kept feeling a strange sense of inner strength when something bad happened, she didn't know what it was or where it came from. However she knew she needed to learn more about it. It occurred to her that she never answered Soba when he asked about her eyes. Her red eyes? She blinked a few times, she wasn't aware that her eyes were red, she was fairly certain they were amber, she paused for a moment and drew up water from the rain creating a smooth surface she looked into it for her reflection and saw for sure that her eyes were a golden amber color. She shook her head lightly and wondered what Soba meant by the question, maybe it was connected to that strange force she kept feeling within. "Maybe I should go find Soba and ask him about that..." she states quietly as she strode down the street listening to the distinctive splish splash sound her bare feet made against the now wet paths of the village. After awhile of walking she realized she had absolutely no idea where Soba, or Notwen for that was at. She sighed again, everything was becoming so fruitless lately, she wanted to capture that girl, and see if she could be freed from what was obviously torturing her mind, perhaps she was just some kind of monstrous incarnation of something evil, or possibly she was just a possessed child, either way it no longer mattered, but it still weighed heavily on her mind.

Sai watched the shinobi quietly, his bright blue eyes following them go off on their own paths one by one until the buildings around them had blocked off their trail all together and left Kentaru alone on the roof. The boy still hadn't moved or said anything since he had sliced the girl in half. It left the question just how many times had he faced death in his life, and more so how many times had he actually killed. The man looked the young Kazekage up and down before sighing and shrugging his shoulders lightly. The kid couldn't be older then twenty. And even though he, himself, had been a kage at that age during his time as well as many others, he had come to realization that at that age... It just shouldn't be so. This occupation took away the childhood from way to many. It was a cruel realty and when he truly thought about it, the anger and resentment he had for the young that was so foolish... It all washed away to pity.

He pitied them. He truly did. As much as the man felt hatred in his heart for them, he also pitied them and all their loss.

A snicker pushed past his lips and Sai hung his head low, his fingers pinching at the bridge of his nose as he shook his head. "Are you ok, Dad?" Vyrin's voice called out softly in the darkness of the rain and pressing night. Shaking his head still, Sai's body shook and trembled... Whether by tears or laughter was the question. "Ah.." He exclaimed shortly, his body straightening up as he let his arms hang on either side of and he turned his face up to the sky. For a long moment the man allowed the cool rain to tap against his face and strain his hair back.

Snapping his head foreword, a spray of water shaking free from his hair as he did, Sai grinned widely at Vyrin. The boy reminded him so much of his brother... At least physically. He looked like Sorain, but he no longer acted like him. The dark curiosity had been broken away and turned to a playful charm. The paranoid actions turned to a sharp awareness. The quick, destructive force turned into a malicious, torturous presence. In all aspects, what had made Vyrin truly like his father had been changed to make him like his Uncle... A factor that would likely never be revealed.

"We're returning home.... to Water Country. You need to train some more. The chuunin exams are arriving and I don't want to see you making any slip ups, ok?" Sai said in his cold demeanor, but his face was bright and smiling widely. With a nod, Vyrin smiled back, turning away only to take one last look at Oasis as she went off to find Soba. "Yea..." ...and hopefully I'll see you there as well... Together, the two Orasakais turned away from the battle scene and strolled to the other end of the rooftop where a large form stood ready on the edge.

The cold mist of the creature's breath hit their faces and tingled at their wet skin but the two met it with pleasant smiles. "Ready to go, Voir?" Sai asked the dragon, his hand gently rubbing the beast's snot as Vyrin quickly made his way onto the great beast's back. "That's good... Let's- Hm?" The man raised his eyebrow as a metal covered bird flew swiftly towards him and landed just on his shoulder, it's talons carefully held open. With a sigh, Sai took the metal cylinder from it's pack on its back and ripped the cover off after a slight twist and pull.

Byakko... "Guess... Ya'll are just going to have to go home by yourselves. Tell Uncle Sorain that I say he's a douche. Voir go." Sai said with a grin on his face, backing away from the dragon and allowing it to soar off as Vyrin shout out lists of angry swears. "Heh, Kids.... Here, send this back to my buddy, will you?" The man said as he took the piece of metal and pressed his hands firmly against them, his muscles bulging visibly as he twisted and turned the metal. After a few moments the piece of metal was left in a form that was similar to that of a fist with a solitude finger raised up for a vulgar expression. Grinning, Sai tied the sculpture to the bird's back and let it go free.

Turning to take one last look at the hidden village, Sai flicked the place off and walked off into the darkness.

Oasis had lost her desire to find Soba having fully come to realize that she had no idea where he was. She was now headed to the place that was her home in this village. it was a small studio apartment style building off to the eastern quarter of the village. First she needed to decide if she wanted to go home or find something to eat first, she realized as she was walking even though it was raining and nearing night that she was rather hungry and a grumble from her gut let her know this all too well. She nodded her head now having fully made up her mind as to what she intended on doing, it was time for a late dinner.

Oasis wandered away from her home headed towards a place that she knew was open all the time, it was the sands branch of ichiraku, before the war broke out Ichiraku began to spread and so many allies of fire nation had their own 'little slice of heaven' in the form of a ramen house that served the best ramen. She was about to enter the shop when she realized just how soaked she was from the rain, while sure it was still raining she could get the water off, she paused and shook from side to side like an animal shedding the water from her body as efficiently as possible, which oddly enough was very effective as all the water on her left her body and fell to the ground and as she stepped into the shop no more fell on her. "... Hi." she states in a voice that shocked the owner.

"Hm? Something bothering you Oasis-chan?" the nice man who worked this ichiraku questioned as he recognized the usually rambunctious red-head enter his shop. He turned to his work and prepped a large bowl, he already knew what she was going to order. "Your usual yes?" he says curiously.

Oasis nodded her head when he turned for her answer "...Yes, alot of things..." she states quietly as she lay her arms on the counter-top and looked at the owner, who was ready to hear her out. "you prolly heard about that ... blood thing earlier already." she states lightly, the man nodded, he was rather in the know and he knew about most things that happened around the village. "Well... I, didn't want her killed... I just felt like there was more to her." she states quietly as he worked the ramen.

"Ah, feeling a bit of a moral quandary are we?" he questions as he picked up a bottle and let a squirt of spicy sauce into the bowl before he carried it over to Oasis, he flicked a pair of chopsticks up from behind the counter and handed them to the bothered red-head kunoichi.

"I suppose, I know that shinobi need to do things like that, so... its not so much that the little thing was killed, as much as I was able to feel something that felt so behind the scenes, whether it was true of not... it was really strange." she states lightly as she snatched up the chopsticks and took a nice mouthful of ramen. She sighed at the warmth of it, and the amazing spice of the broth as it mingled with the light sweetness of the noodles. "I keep feeling strange things. On that scary mission on that island, when I was fighting the big monster, at first, I wasn't able to get close to it, or its protectors, then suddenly something happened and the strange smells and sensations of the world around me, it just like, dulled." she states as she tried to explain it "Like, somehow I was away from it while still being in it?" she adds with a shrug not sure if that made any sense. "It was accompanied with a feeling of strength and sureness, like an inner sense that I knew I could beat it, but at the same time sort of like someone else was telling me it would work out." she states tipping her head to the side as she thought about it, the sensations were hard to put to word.

"Well, ya know kiddo that sounds alot like an adrenaline rush really. Ya know, fight or flight and you chose fight." he states as he prepared a second bowl he knew she would want another, she had one serious metabolism, which was good for him, it meant one special customer would mean alot of business in one run.

"I suppose, but later when I was watching Fuyu and Notwen ... spar... Soba said something that I didn't really hear, he said my eyes were red, like uchiha but without the tomoe." Oasis says with a curious tone to her voice as she looked at him for a wise response to that.

"Oh, so then that means you just might be part uchiha kid. Just means your only just discovering your sharingan, maybe you should work on that and learn how it works ya know it could come in real handy. That probably started on that island with the weird adrenaline rush yea. Which would be why you felt alot stronger too." he states as he placed the bowl down just as Oasis was about to finish the first bowl.

"Hmm... I suppose that could be true, but... ma an pa neither are uchiha." Oasis says sounding a bit more confused now than before, yet at the same time she was also seeming to understand it better as well. After she started eating the second bowl her smile started to return "Hey, I heard the chuunin exams are going to happen... I totally intend on participating... I could meet alot of new friends yea." she states with a big wide grin on her face.

The man laughed lightly "Sure enough kid." he states as he walked about tidying things up, this was the slowest time for business and he was soon to close up for the night, but with one of his number one customers in the building he would stay open late if he had too.

Oasis held a hand up requesting another bowl, he was expecting to give her at least four bowls so he actually had a third being prepared already. She polished off the second bowl and looked up as the third arrived she grinned from ear to ear and set into the third bowl. "Your really smart about stuff... Why would the markings on my arms and legs, glow?" she questions curiously having only just sort of noticed it when she had entered into the dark of the house looking for Notwen, she couldn't not notice it really as there was an area around her that was not as dark as the rest of that floor, she didn't notice it back on the island because of the area where it happened had not allowed it.

He was caught off guard by that question, some of the things he was working with clattering together lightly as he turned and started to think about that question. "hmm... well... they said the blue markings were, indicative of water chakra... so maybe, when you use stronger water based techniques those markings react to the exertion." he states nodding his head knowingly.

Oasis nodded her head in response, that was a reasonable explanation. She then just set to eating her third and final bowl of ramen. "I wonder, if Vyrin will be at the exams...?" she mutters quietly to herself as she thought about the exams and wondered if she would see her new friend there, also that made her wonder if that somewhat obnoxious enemy of her kage would show up as well, that might not go well really. She shook her head not wanting to think about that while eating her favorite ramen. The ramen was her think time to think about herself or happy things, not about other peoples problems.

After the ceremony was over, Yuuki said farewell to her classmates and friends and began making her way home with her parents. The ground had become muddy due to the rainfall.
What's with this ominous feeling? the new genin asked herself as she looked up at the dark swirling clouds above. Just as she looked back down, Yuuki noticed an orange-haired boy walk past her in the opposite direction. It seemed that he was hurt since he was covered in blood. Haven't i seen him before?
Then it dawned on her. She remembered the incident two years ago where a boy had been made an orphan by mysterious masked man that had killed the boy's family. Uchiha, Notwen was the boy's name. Yuuki turned around and watched the boy walk slowly, his orange hair matted down flat against his head by all the rainwater.
"Mama, Papa, i forgot something back at the academy. I'll meet you guys home." she said. Turning around, Yuuki hurried after the boy with her umbrella. Catching up, she moved the umbrella so that it shielded the boy from the relentless downpour. "Hi there. What are you doing walking around exposed like this?"

Notwen had been walking for about half an hour. His normally bright hazel eyes were now dull. There was something bothering him, yet he couldn't put a finger on it. It was as if a creepy, cold hand was slowly making a grab for his heart.
Looking up at the sky, Notwen saw the dark swirling clouds create ominous shapes. Something truly was off about the night. A crowd of people passed by him but the boy was too preoccupied with his own thoughts to give them any thought, until he heard a set of wet splashes approach him.
"Hi there. What are you doing walking around exposed like this?" Notwen turned and found himself looking into a pair of dark blue eyes. A girl carrying an umbrella had walked up to him and was now shielding him from the rain.
"It's a long story." Notwen replied

Soba had now reached the house. He was a bout to put his hand on the knob when he noticed that the door had been tampered with. Who the hell would break into my house? And for what? asked the chuunin to himself. Notwen had the keys so it couldn't have been him. Taking precaution, the chuunin summoned his Divine Gear Fist. When he was ready, Soba kicked in the door, hoping to surprise whoever had entered. What he saw next drained the color from his face. There, sitting on the couch, was none other than Dokuro.
"What's wrong, Soba-kun. You look like you've just seen a ghost." Yuuki + Notwen: 47 Lines

Hatsuma had arrived just in time to see the enemy fall, an enemy shinobi? It was uncertain however the fact she arrived at the end of this conflict seemed to cement the fact she was necessary or skilled enough as a shinobi. Hatsuma leapt to the street below landing softly as if she had merely hopped down from a step rather then a rooftop. the kage seemed preoccupied so she would make her way the his office and await him there.

She noted the others around including Oasis who seemed a great deal stronger and perhaps on par with the strong shinobi that had arrived at the scene. She chose not to approach any of them since she felt out of place as it was. Had Fuyu gone through an amazing jump in strength as well? if so she would likely just be a boon on her team... She wouldn't be the one who held her comrades back. Perhaps she'd take her leave and go into training out in the desert and try again later to become a shinobi of the village.

She found herself standing in the street the rain already weighing down her hair and clothing to match her self esteem. As down as she was about her lack of skill her face still held the same serious tone it always did. Hatsuma wasn't quite used to failing so she was unsure on how exactly to respond to the issue of the island mission, however the fact that it was an issue is what seemed to bother her the most.

Hatsuma looked around for a moment and spotted a street bench she calmly made her way over to it and sat down gently. the fact that it was wet didn't matter anymore since she was already drenched. Hatsuma thought deeply about the thoughts running through her head and why they were there in the first place. She stared out along the street as she did so.

Having had her fill of ramen Oasis slipped her hands to a satchel she wore with her headband-belt and dropped the appropriate amount of coin on his table "Thanks, I feel alot better now." she says with a bright rather cheery smile. She hopped down from the bench and turned back out to the streets it was getting ever darker out and the rain hadn't let up much if any at all. She shrugged her shoulders and stepped out really wishing the rain would just stop falling on her. As she did this she thought about the combat with the blood wielding girl, as she thought about it she realized Hatsuma had shown up, so finally her multi-armed friend had made her re-appearance she was starting to wonder if she EVER would. Oasis decided now that she would go and find Hatsuma and ask how she was doing now. So with that in mind the spunky kunoichi made her way from her favorite ramen hut to the streets. She thought about where she had seen Hatsuma during the fight, and based some information on that fact and what little she knew about Hatsuma. Since her team-mate had not caught up with her or anyone else she likely had gone off on her own, which meant going a different direction entirely, so she decided she would walk a straight line from where she saw Hatsuma last. While this perhaps wasn't the best approach it was the one she would use, seeing as Oasis was no tracker ninja.

Oasis returned to the sight of the combat and stood for a minute scanning the locations she remembered seeing people at, then finally finding where she saw Hatsuma at and then she started to walk along that path, eventually climbing up to the roof tops to continue her straight line walk. She hit the roof and walked along the edge of it, her hands out to either side as she walked on the ball of her feet staying balanced the entire time along the buildings even as she transitioned between different heights. She almost lost track of her goal as she was becoming rather entertained by her current acrobatics. However she remembered what she was doing when she saw a familiar figure on a bench not so far ahead and obviously just below. She knelt down and went into very quiet movement deciding to sneak up on her friend. Once in range Oasis launched from the roof top with only one thing to say "HATSUMA-TAAAN!" she cried out loudly as she dropped towards her friend and ally.

"Hm? oh hello Oasis-chan I assume the mission on the island was completed?" Hatsuma stated snapping back to reality at the sound of her comrade's voice. Hatsuma stood and adjusted her soaked heavy cloth skirt which decided to stay bunched, though it was more a matter of comfort then modesty as she was wearing tight shorts underneath. "Forgive my absence as I wasn't able to continue the mission with you and fuyu due to incapacitation, I only recently became well enough to return to the village." Hatsuma explained anticipating a question of her whereabouts. "It's good to know you two were able to take priority for the mission as well." she continued on moving the wet hair away from her stoic face as she looked over to Oasis.

"Who was that stranger that kage-sama took down? she felt unnatural." Hatsuma realized she was curious about this and had yet to mention it as of yet. Now would be a good time as any to catch up on the events of the village while she had Oasis around for information. She was going to ask the kage but he was clearly preoccupied so this opportunity was good for her in regards of information.

Oasis landed with a flop on the wet ground before springing to her feet "Oh, you move quick on your feet for bein all wet." she states with a giggle "Hey... wow, you knew exactly what I was going to ask. Yes, the mission was... sort of completed, what happened there was really bad. I suppose you missed seeing the giant monster thing. It was like a worm made up of all the missing islanders... it was brutal." she states quietly as she thought back to it, once again showing that introspective side that there was to Oasis. "...Wow, you were incapped? what got you?" she questions curiously tipping her head to the side, though the conversation was able to continue on she was curious really. "OH... I really do not know what she was..." Oasis states curiously as she thought back about it "It was really... bad. The whole situation I dunno what it was about... but it wasn't a good thing." she states quietly as she rocked to the side some "but that was then, and this is now. What does Hatsuma-tan wanna do?" she questions pretty much entirely disregarding the fact that it was getting exceptionally late and dark.

"It's a long story." replied the boy tiredly. Yuuki felt the fatigue emanating from him, and decided that the best course of action would be to get him out of the rain.
"I'd like to hear it." replied Yuuki smiling. The boy looked wounded and exhausted. "But first let's go to my house. At least there will adequate shelter." she removed her jacket and folded it the way her mother had folded it. Yuuki then stored it in her school bag, along with her brand new fans, Shichiyou and Kaiyou.
What in the world happened to him? Yuuki asked herself as she took Notwen in the direction of her family manor. She noticed that his forehead protector's cloth was a different color and fabric from hers, but since the metal plate bore the sand village's insignia, Yuuki dismissed the possibility of the boy being a hostile. He was hurt after all, and if he tried anything, her parents would put him down.

Notwen was about to move when all of a sudden a spasm rocked his body. He dropped to his knees and retched up blood. Now that he recalled it, he had ingested some blood when he was breaking free from the blood people, and again when he was struck in the face by the blood needles.
Coughing to clear his throat from the bitter-sweet substance, Notwen tried getting up, but had to lean against the wall because his vision had become blurry. The strength quickly left the boy's legs and he fell face first on the muddy sand. Notwen heard the benevolent girl call his name several times, and felt her turn his body over before he lost consciousness.

"I am not going to waste my time by beating around the bush." said the masked man, rising slowly from the couch and approaching the chuunin, "You have valuable information on the whereabouts of the Sparrow Egg. If you love your life, you'll tell me where to find it."
Soba backed away from Dokuro as the latter approached him. He wasn't surprised to learn that the masked man had learned about the Sparrow Egg. Soba had witnessed Dokuro use an armored bird to escape that night.
"It seems your bird has fallen from grace," said Soba in a sad tone. "I wonder why. Armored Birds have a code of loyalty. They would never betray their secrets unless...." he paused. The chuunin now understood the whole gravity of the situation.
Armored Birds are creatures that were tamed long ago by the founders of the Mataza Clan. Each member of the clan would get their own Egg at a certain point and be bound to their birds by a code of loyalty through a sort of ritual. Many rival clans lusted after the power gained by making a contract with the birds so they ganged up and eradicated almost all of the Armored Birds and their masters. The only three left were the Mother Phoenix, Kesterell Kaaw(Dokuro's now late Bird), and Bourstina(Naomi's future Bird). When two members of the Mataza clan mate, their Birds also go through a courting period, which ensures their children have Eggs. If all of the birds were to die, the Mother Phoenix would also cease to exist. Since Naila and Ginta were both killed before they made their contract, the Eggs that were meant to be theirs cracked, killing the developing chicks. Kesterell Kaaw perished due to being forced or tricked into breaking his code of loyalty to his kind. That only left Notwen's unhatched Egg.
"I have no need for an unfaithful companion." said the masked man in a non-caring way. "He should have never decided to beco-" Soba didn't let Dokuro say anything else. He weaved seals as fast as he could. The end result was a wave of muddy sand that covered the unsuspecting masked man. At once Soba made a run for it, hoping to lead the masked man away from Notwen. When Notwen had collapsed, Yuuki knew that there was something definitely wrong.
"Hey, Notwen, get a hold of yourself. Notwen! Can't you hear me?" He had fallen face down in the mud and was in danger of suffocating. Yuuki turned his body over, and immediately began hearing the boy's labored breathing. He must have been poisoned, she thought as she looked over Notwen's body.
Yuuki was not a medic, but had learned some healing techniques from her mother just in case first aid was ever needed. It sure was needed now.
Yuuki drove the umbrella into the ground next to Notwen's head, sheltering his face from the rain. She then proceeded to rip the front of the boy's shirt, exposing his scarred torso. How did this happen? she wondered as she gingerly traced her fingers across the seemingly fresh scar. Shaking her head to regain focus, Yuuki began to work.
Going back into her schoolbag, she took out Kaiyou. She opened it all the way so it looked like a disk of fabric, then placed it over Notwen's torso. Yuuki sat cross-legged next to the boy's limp form. Weaving a few hand signs ending with her clapping her hands, she laid them on the fan, activating the healing jutsu.
Kaiyou became supersaturated with water, which began glowing white. The toxins within Notwen's began to be absorbed and neutralized by the glowing water. Ten minutes later the healing process was over and the color had returned to Notwen's face. "You'll be fine, now." Yuuki whispered to the sleeping boy. A village jounin happened to be on patrol in the area and came to investigate.
"Is everything alright here?" he asked, looking at Yuuki, then at Notwen.
"Yes, everything is fine sir." replied Yuuki, sighing in relief. "Can you please help me take him to my house? He needs rest and i don't know where he lives." The jounin sighed. He walked over to the unconscious boy, putting him in a piggy-back position.
"Which way?" Ten minutes later, after Yuuki had told her parents what happened, Notwen was situated in a spare room.

The Blue Blue

PostPosted: Sun Jul 18, 2010 3:00 pm

Kenta had remained on the rooftop, remaining silent. He stared at the remains of the creature that he had cut down. This was stupid. There had been all of that, and there had been nothing that he could have attempted to not cut the girl down. He looked over to his sword which was still in his hand, and now was just a sword. It struck things down too quickly. Perhaps he shouldn't have been using it. His eyes, hidden behind half of their eye-lids turned back to the scene that the sword had so easily created. This really wasn't what he had been trained for. This really wasn't the Kazekage that he had dreamed of being. He had thought that it was going to be easy to rule over everything with peace just by getting into a couple of fist fights that ended when everyone was too drunk to make their way home without help. It would have been nice, but he knew what Taka would have said. There would have been mention about how he always had his head in the clouds and always believed in things that couldn't happen.

The rain had soaked through his clothes, and the blond girl in armor had moved onto the same rooftop that he was on. His eyes continued to stare forward at where the girl had fallen. This was what happened, right? This was what ninjas did. They cut each other down and fought to the death. It was only natural. It was what all of them had trained for. It was why each and every one of them reached out in an attempt to attain more power. You needed to be strong so that when someone came at you to take your life you were prepared. It was all so that when someone came out of the shadows to kill you, you were ready to kill them back. It was a cruel world...and the fact that Oasis had pleaded for the girl's life once again showed why he was certain that she would be a better Kage than he was. She would have found some way to detain the girl without turning her into a mess all over the rooftop to be dealt with by the rain.

"We can't really afford to run around collecting monsters, Kenta." Her amber eyes were those of someone who had been working too long.

Kenta blinked, his eyes seeming to have a similar appearance today, "No. We can't." He brought his hand up and rubbed at his forehead for a moment, "And in the time that it would have taken me to wear her down enough to capture her, she probably would have killed that orange haired kid."

"The Kazekage is supposed to act in the best interest of his students. You did the right thing." She fought the urge to step forward and place a hand on his shoulder, knowing that he likely would not be as comforted by the physical contact as she would have hoped.

Kenta's eyes remained unmoving from the corpse of the woman that he had struck down, "What if what was in the best interests of my students was to capture her alive and attempt to gather information from her?" It was entirely possible that they could have gotten some information from the live body that they couldn't get now...it was also a problem that he, at least at the moment, didn't feel like calling in an ANBU squad to collect this body. Either it was something completely random or he could already start guessing at who might have sent it.

"In the heat of battle you made a decision to strike down your enemy before it could strike down your students. It was a rational choice." She knew that wasn't going to comfort him. She had been around him long enough to know that even though he was a brawler who enjoyed fighting with people, that he had a good heart. She also knew that there was more to this than just 'I didn't want it to kill my students'. At least a part of it was that she didn't want any of them to have to shoulder the burden.

Kenta stared forward. Akane was a brilliant assistant, but she didn't know the whole situation as it stood right now. How could she? He blinked for a moment before bringing his hand up and rubbing at his forehead. It wasn't so much that he had wanted to kill this woman...he had little choice, and he had begun to see how true that was. With his techniques the battle would have gone on to a standstill, and with the sword he had no choice but to cut the girl down and spill her blood all over the rooftop. He shook the blade that had been washed of it's blood by the rain. Perhaps this weapon really was beyond his scope. He turned it quickly and sheathed it at his side before speaking up again, "I'm going to need to do some training...maybe pick up a new weapon or something."

"Oh?" This wasn't the sort of thing that she expected to hear. He had won a battle, and even if the ending had not been his ideal...why did he need to start training? She blinked back at the rain that had fallen into her eyes from her hair, "Is something the matter, lord Kenta?"

Kenta narrowed his eyes slightly. He didn't answer the question. He wasn't entirely sure what the answer was.

"Well I would say we should go talk to kage-sama but I have a feeling he is still busy... so... " Hatsuma's face actually gained a new expression to it, one of pondering as she crossed her arms and tapped at her chin in thought. What would someone like oasis say in this situation?

"Perhaps we should visit a bathhouse or hotspring, my muscles are still tense from traveling after all..." Hatsuma concluded her face going back to the standard stoic expression that was expected of her. Her muscles were a bit tense from traveling so many miles so this was a good reason to spend time relaxing, after all down time is as important as the missions that follow it. "unfortunately I do not know the location of any such place in town... you'll have to lead the way..." Hatsuma finished realizing she didn't actually know the entire layout of the town, only the crucial points a shinobi should learn for exam purposes.

As Hatsuma spoke Oasis at first was only sort of listening, she had attempted to communicate with the Kage, but he had been lost in thought it would seem, so she knew that was an option which was already out of the question. However as Hatsuma continued to think, a new suggestion came from her multi-armed teammate. One that mades Oasis face light up with a grin and made her eyes sparkle with excitement, and as was fully expected from the young genin she let out a loud whoop of excitement bouncing a good two feet off the ground in an excited little hop. "Awesome!" was about all she shouted which was intelligible before she turned in the direction of her favorite open late bathhouse and started in its direction "come on, come on, there's a really good one thats still open. and its got the awesomest bath for sore muscles, its an electric bath, soooo tingly!" she chimed energetically as she race skipped along the wet ground figuring Hatsuma would follow.
