Opening the front door to his apartment, and having been gone for the rest of the night and a good portion of the next day, Watari was glad to finally deposit the armload of files that he carried. "I do hope you appreciate this hard work..." the scientist teased, looking over at Micheal from the dining table where he had laid the papers and folders. "It took a lot of digging in the library for these... and a few favors..."

"I'm glad I make someone happy." Muraki replied with a slight smile. Yawning, the man sat up and stretched his arms over his head, mindful that he was still only wearing a towel. He reached one hand out, grabbing a piece of toast and taking a bite. For a moment, the doctor just chewed thoughtfully, then he finally spoke again. "I think I try to understand you... because part of me realizes that I know you, even if it's kind of hard to remember at times."

((Baaaaaw Nil-chaaaaaan! You totally just RP c**k-blocked meh! >.< I wanted him to see me! No "HUMAN" can see me....him not human....him teh deeeemon! -pouts-))
Ducking his head down, Tsuzuki took a bite from Muraki's toast, right out of his hand. Perhaps the doctor was right...Tsuzuki was kind of like a puppy at times. "Part of you remembers me, eh? Which part?" Tsuzuki waggled his eyebrows, teasing. Somehow it didn't occur to the shinigami how twisted a jibe that was. Tsuzuki wasn't psychologically stable at times, and that particular comment reeked of Stockholm Syndrome. Even so, to Tsuzuki, everything that Muraki had ever done to him in the past may as well have been a joke. The present was all that mattered to the man now.

Micheal's gaze lifted absently until his eyes rested on the angel. Predictably he shook his head and did a double take. Why would an angel be here at this time. The demon's face paled, giving him a washed out look as he stared blanky at the angel. It had been long enough that all he really made out was a man with wings staring through the window at him. He took a step back and actually jumped when Watari entered the room. Black feathers and tiny quills poked out from his arms as a reaction to his startlement. "Does that mean you expect me to owe you a few favors or were those favors called in for finding out who exactly I am? These favors wouldn't have anything to do with the angel sitting outside the window would they?"

(((OOC; Hehehe, he can still see you, silly. He could completely ignore Watari and be all staring out the window... or jumping through it... hehe.)))

Muraki laughed at that, the sound a tad bit darker than he had ever intended, "Which part? Which part of me remembers you or which part do I remember?" he asked with a slight smile, rather curious as to what Tsuzuki meant. He fully intended to tell the shinigami about the bathroom encounter...

(((OOC: Oh btw, we really want to finish up day 2 in Shounen Pop by tomorrow (monday). That doesn't mean we don't want Kai to go see Ryuu, we just want him to really early in the morning. Hehehe.)))

((XP. Ok ok...I gotcha. I thought you had transitioned in the time setting. And as far as Shonen...ok I gotcha. Ryu won't be seeing Kai til later anyway, and I bet I can keep him around til morning, one way or another...though Ryu sure does miss Naoko....>.<))
Otori blinked. He was shocked just a bit when the man in the window looked at...at him? Surely not. Someone else had come into the room, and the man at the window jumped. It looked as if....as if feathers were peeking out of his back now? Otori rubbed his eyes. This was strange...very strange. It just had to be his imagination. Shaking his head, Otori sat back, choosing to continue watching through the window to prove to himself that it was just a human at the window and he was thinking strange things.

Subconsciously, Tsuzuki shivered at Muraki's laughter. Still in good humor, however, the shinigami replied, "Weeell....I meant which part, I guess, because, well, when you get right down to it...ah nevermind. Those weren't good times, I don't even know why I brought such a thing up." he shook his head, brown hair falling into his eyes. "Even so, I would like to know anything you remember."

"I... remember some." the man whispered softly, suddenly finding the ceiling far more interesting to stare at... for the moment. Muraki's silver gaze floated upward as he tilted his head back, staring at the white speckled paint above their heads. "Earlier, in the bathroom... I remembered when you tried to kill us both, actually." there was a sad smile on Kazutaka's face as he spoke. "How beautifully tragic you were... and how desperately I wanted to live..."

Micheal turned back to the window and gazed warily at the angel. Feathers continued to sprout from his arms and he didn't stop them. If the angel was really looking at him, there was little he could do about it except fight. He wasn't willingly going back to hell without a fight. The demon brought up one hand, fingernails grown to black talons and made a rude gesture at the angel. ((OOC: sorry was in a party on Final Fantasy XI. . . its crack to me))

Tsuzuki's features twisted in a pained expression as Muraki spoke of that night. That was the worst suffering Tsuzuki had ever endured, and most likely the worst thing he had ever done to another human being, "deserving" or not. Tsuzuki had judged wrong in his madness. "Gomen nasai..." crystalline tears fell from Tsuzuki's jewel-like eyes. Beautifully tragic was a good description for him, even in this moment. "I never should have...ever...if I had known that...really...deep down you were so wonderful....I...I just...I could have helped you. Forgive me, Kazutaka." Tsuzuki held onto the other man tightly, trying to convey in his own little way how glad he was that they were both still alive.

The angel couldn't believe his eyes. That was no human...that was...a demon! And not just any demon...that demon was Micheal...who was apparently giving him the finger. Obviously he had no idea that it was indeed Otori who was looking at him. Moving so quickly that it appeared as a flash, Otori was at the window, hands pressed flat against the glass, eyes wide in disbelief. "Micheal..." he said breathlessly.

Micheal took a few steps backward as Otori seemed to appear at the window. He shook his head, looked and looked again. This couldn't be his angel could it. The demon's feathers slicked back then fluffed up, rattling against the quills on his back. He walked over to the window and slowly pushed it open, half expecting his eyes to be fooling him. ". . . Otori?" He wasn't quite ready to believe what his eyes were telling him, his experience telling him that this was any number of tricks, how unlikely it was that Otori would appear to him now by coincidence. Taking a few steps back and bringing his arms into a guarding position, he warily watched the angel. "You can't be my angel, you are mocking me."

Smiling, Otori gracefully slipped into the window, wings folding, before he wrapped his arms around Micheal. He was aware of the other man in the room, but he didn't care. "Micheal..." the red-headed tenshi whispered, his voice clear as a bell, with a musical tone to it that would be unmistakable as only his.

He stiffened for a heartbeat or two as he was hugged. Truly he'd only let his guard down for one person. That person being who stood before him now. Slowly his arms encircled the angel and returned the gesture of affection. "I thought you beyond my reach for eternity. Good things don't happen to my kind." There was disbelief and awe in his voice, mixed with emotions the demon couldn't put a name to. Things he hadn't felt since Otori had tricked him into taking a soul. Micheal pulled Otori close unwilling to let the angel go after so long a time apart.

Trembling, Otori could only cling to the demon in return. This had certainly been unexpected, unimaginable even. He hadn't thought, after everything, that he would ever see Micheal again. Finally, the angel spoke. "Micheal, good things come to those who wait. Have I not told you that a thousand times before?"

Micheal looked down at Otori and gave a short bark of laughter. "It's in my nature to not expect good things. How else would I survive? I thought you had salvaged what was left of my soul and followed your guardians somewhere greener and safer than here." He found himself being cautiously optimistic. A rare emotion for him. Now that he was sure there was nothing in the way of divine retribution about to be rained down on him, the quills and feathers began to vanish until Micheal was mostly human looking. The only difference being the horns that curled from above his pointed ears. Those, along with some scars were all that marked him different from the Micheal Otori had known. At least to the naked eye at any rate. "You're shaking." He said after a moment and loosened his grip slightly so he could look at the angel.

"I can't even be sure of everything that happened, Micheal, but what I do know is that, for now, everything is ok. I've been here on Earth the entire time." Clinging to Micheal still, Otori looked at the demon, nodding at Micheal's observation. "It seems I am...gomen...I'm just so...surprised."
