"I'm not worried about a towel," Angela said, looking over at him. "I'm wondering what I'm going to wear since my clothes are a bit...torn up and covered in monster guts and other fun things."
She smirked slightly. "And I don't think anything of yours is going to fit me."

"come out, dry off and we'll go to my quarters. I have some clothes there other than my own." Zen shrugged, trying to shake off some of the water in his hair.

Angela nodded and stood slowly, holding onto her towel tightly to keep it from falling off. She wrung out her hair as best as she could with one hand and then went to retrieve a dry towel and dry off a bit.
After a moment, she returned, wrapped in a dry towel and with her hair no longer sopping.
She stood a few feet away, watching Aku still flailing.
"He can hold his breath for an astonishingly long time," she commented and then glanced at Zen. "I'm ready."

Zen poofed them to his quarters again He brought them to a rotating closet and entire hall of clothes. Most of them were women's dresses.
Zen hit a button on the wall a few times and switched it to a long row of dresses that were mostly green or red, but more to her size.
"I think they work?" He asked, "you can search another rack if you want, just don't use the ones I packed in the back..."
He wou;d've helped search but remembered what he was wearing--almost nothing.
Ky let Aku up, convinced that was around the limit anyone could hold their breath.

"Ahh..." Angela said. She should have expected something annoyingly fancy considering this was Zen. But she didn't want to seem ungrateful.
Still, she looked at him, somewhat astonished. "I know...that you're an emperor and all that but honestly Zen. The amount of clothing in here is rather frightening."

"It's my sister's actually, and it was kind of her hobby to get dresses... She loved her men after all... You wouldn't imagine the amount of clothes people give you when you're a royal." Zen shrugged and walked a hall down to where his own clothes were.

Angela sighed. He seemed...annoyed.
She bit her lip and started going through the dresses slowly. His sister...the one that had been killed. She felt odd about wearing her clothes. Zen had offered but it was probably a bit weird for him as well.
After going through about twenty dresses, Angela realized there wasn't a single one that she wouldn't feel supremely awkward wearing. They were all...just...fancy and form fitting and meant for someone beautiful and charming and definitely not for someone like Angela.
"Hell," she muttered, yanking out a dark green one that was at least backless and looked it wasn't made for someone with breasts the size of her head. Hopefully she wouldn't look too ridiculous.
She took a moment to slowly run her fingers through her hair, heating up her hands to steam the rest of the moisture out of it (a very convenient ability).
And then she looked around cautiously. Zen hadn't exactly told her where to change and he'd left so she could probably just...change here she assumed. She pulled the dress off the hanger and then dropped her towel, preparing to change.

Zen came back into the room, having put on a white fleece type of shorts meant to go under pants me and tied up his torso with thin strips of some other fabric. He was going to help her pick something to wear when he realized she had taken off her towel.
He stood in shock for a minute, then turned around abruptly.

Angela was halfway into the green dress when she realized that Zen was actually standing...nearby. His back was to her but she had absolutely no idea when he had shown up.
She started blushing furiously. Drat! That's what she got for changing in such a weird place. He'd probably seen her naked too.
Damn him and his quiet, sneaky feet. Why couldn't he make some noise or something instead sneaking around like a damn ninja?
She struggled with the zipper and hook and eye at the back of the dress but finally managed. It was a bit long and the straps were a little loose. And she got the feeling it was supposed to fit much tighter than it did on her but at least it wouldn't fall off of her, even if she looked stupid.
She cleared her throat softly, keeping her back to Zen because she was too embarrassed to look at him. "Um...I....I'm finished."

Zen coughed, embarrassed. He was trying not to get flustered, but was glad she didn't kill him.
"oh ok..." He said, kind of squeaky like and turned around. She looked pretty, but he tried not to think about what he saw a minute ago.
He soon remembered how cold he was without a shirt, since Kall was freezing, and began hitting buttons on the other side of the hall to find himself something in his own clothes.
"You should probably get a robe or something..." He added, coughing still.

"Hmm?" Angela asked. "Why?" She looked down at herself. "Do I look that bad?"
She glanced at him, noting that he was dressed...very oddly.
"Or because you're afraid I'm cold? Because I don't actually get cold really--unless hit by magic cold of course. I'm rather more susceptible to that than most people."

"Alright, I'm freezing in here all the time and I live here!" Zen jested, trying to shrug off the embarrassing moment--which she already seemed to have done anyway. He found a light white collared shirt made of protective stuff he put on and buttoned up. "you look beautiful." He blurted, while fiddling to straighten the shirt and find some outfit.
"You think we'll be fighting anyone anytime soon?

"I just...have a natural resistance to normal cold," Angela said, fidgeting slightly. "Thanks to my father's side..."
She was watching Zen put on a white shirt out of the corner of his eye when he suddenly blurted out the most absurd thing. She turned red.
"I...uh...." she said, shaking her head. "I'm sure I look foolish dressed like this. I don't really...know how to wear dresses and things of that sort." But even though she said that, she felt absurdly pleased that he'd said she looked beautiful.
And then he abruptly changed the subject. "I hope not," she said quietly, trying to make her cheeks stop burning.

"I better get something with armor then I suppose..." Zen sighed and found some red pants to put on, then went into another room adjacent to the hall where all his coats and armors and stiff type of things were stored on busts and shelves.
"Yes, I have a lot of stuff. If someone had more stuff than me I'd be worried. This is the result of 200 years worth of collective gifts, minus the stuff that got destroyed on my outings over my life." Zen looked around for whatever he was thinking of.
"That dress is made of the same stuff as my shirt, almost no blade is going to cut through."

"That's nice," Angela commented, glancing over her shoulder at her bare back. Her arms were also bare as well. "Which means as long as I only face people from the front, the only thing I have to worry about is having my arms chopped off."
She fidgeted slightly and then followed him into the other room. "Two hundred years," she mused. "Are you ever going to tell me just how old you really are?" she asked.
