((well his name actually was Gesdael (prounaounced Ges-day-el) but Mal just stuck kinda stuck though I guess it could be his Earth name....like Strider's real name is Azeois but hes called Strider)) -Jake went to a chair and conjoured some food for Verin and took a nap-
-Demios also got into a chair and fell asleep-
"Well begone. I want to get the last hour of rest before my brother's pesky freinds come to save him and....-Mal chuckles a bit- kill me. Now leave before I have shoot you with lightning again." -Mal closes his eyes and falls asleeep-
"Well I enjoyed you company Fenrir come back later. Gets lonely in this little cell. Mal isn't one to talk if you haven't already noticed." -Strider waves- "Welp I guess i'll talk to ya later. Oh and tell the others that im ok im sure their worried."

((Did you get Strider's name from Lord of the Rings? Aragorn tells Frodo his name is Strider when he first meets the hobbits...))
"Thanks!" Verin plopped down in a chair and began to pile an empty plate up with food. He started to wolf down food while alternatively taking sips from a glass with milk in it.
Elistral felt rather than heard her empty stomach jump when she saw the food. Besides needing sleep, she was also pretty hungry. She took a long look at the enormous library before deciding to pull a random book out. Sitting down next to Verin, she flipped through yellowed pages as she ate.
"It really is fun bothering him though. You two are almost nothing alike." Fenrir answered with a shrug. He hopped down from the table and cast a glance from Mal to Strider. "The next time I see you will probably be on a battlefield if I don't come back. I'll be sure to pass your message to them, though." He disappeared from the cell with a wave before reappearing in Salim's ruins. He sat down against the warped metal bell and took out his pocket watch, flipping it open to watch the sky start to lighten in the glass covering the numerals.

((actually yes......I was wondering when someone was going to finally ask that.....took ya long enough =/)) -Jake woke up and got up- "I'm going to go out for a bit. I'll be back before mid day." -Jake dissappeared in a green flash. He reappeared at the town of Salim leaned against a wall- "So tell me Fenrir. Exactly how long has Strider and Fate been manipulateing the destiny of this world?"

((=| I wondered about it for a month, after I tried to read the 1st book again. I never could finish it, it's tough to read, word-wise I mean. I wonder if anyone else figured it out. Plus, it looks like Strider/Mal have like a Vash/Knives thing going on...))
Verin mumbled a reply at him after he left, not really concentrating on anything besides eating what was in front of him. Rore woke up though, loooking up to study his surroundings for the first time. He felt a little better after his short nap though and rubbed a hand across his face. "Hey big guy, you're awake." Verin pushed a plate towards him, sliding it so it faced the older man. "We're in a library, but you should probably eat something." Rore nodded distractedly, then turned to Verin. "Is it true? Everything's gone?" Verin looked at him sadly before going back to eating. "Yeah, it is. 'Wish it wasn't though."
Fenrir didn't look up, but turned his watch so he could see Jake. "Not just this world, other worlds also. And, for as long as this world and the universe were created. It's a long, well, not so long, "explanation", if you want to listen to me ramble a little." He smiled at the younger boy, still not turning his head.
Crow stopped outside of the gate to Silver City. He didn't hear or see anyone. That was unusual, people should've been running around in fright or something similar. But the city was like a ghost town, he thought as he walked through the streets. Ashes laid everywhere, and a charcoal smell filled the air. Besides not having people, he noticed the city was deserted of any animals as well.

((actually after thinking about it for a bit its more like the story of Jesus........and the longer I thought about......several aspects of the story i've made could be compared to the story of creation O_O))
"Well I don't mind. I just want to know how long Strider has manipulated the lives of those hes helpped. Because the longer I think about it the more it makes sense that without Strider none of us would even be here now if it hadn't been for him. I would still be a wandering spirit, Elistral and Verin would be stuck under burning ruble, and Demios would have been ashes. Not to mention our ansestors and how he manipulated them to have certain events occur. I just want to know just how deeply our world has been influenced by Strider." -Jake looked at Fenrir with a deep stare-

((...I've never really heard the story of creation. I know Jesus died for everyone's sins, how Adam and Eve got kicked out of Eden, etc... but other than that, I'd need an explanation... ^^"))
Fenrir closed his watch with a click, then looked up to match Jake's stare with his own. A few long moments passed before he sighed and turned his gaze to the stars. "None of us would even be here if it weren't for not only Strider, but his other siblings as well. There are..." He paused, searching for the right words. He felt no urgings or denial from Fate, so he decided that it was fine to tell the boy a bit of what he knew. "...Certain forces in this world, in all worlds, that coexist with each other as much as the gods themselves. They all influence the actions of mortals, some more than others. If, say, one began to separate for particular reasons, than those separations would have almost direct influence in the way the world, or worlds, works. But then you'd have to take the individuals in account as well, for they would possibly influence mortals in their own way, and the mortals in their turn would be influenced according to their beliefs and instincts." He paused briefly before shrugging and speaking again. "Maybe Strider has just been doing what he has for no real reason, for enjoyment. But he's just a part of a bigger picture, one that even I can't see the whole of. One that Fa--" Fenrir's right arm swung back suddenly, banging into the bell so hard it went numb while the warped metal let out a half-hearted peal. He frowned and rubbed it, feeling a faint tingling in his consciousness. "Well, you don't have to do that." He remarked, standing up and propping himself up against the bell. He started to say something, but felt a harsh scolding directed at him and he couldn't help but wince a little and rub his temple instead of his numb arm.

((well for one thing it was said that the universe was made in 7 days......seven gods made the universe in 7 days in my story.......there were also one god.......Fate........7 angels......the seven gods.......then there was the story of Jesus christ who went around and perform miracles and saved people from death.......basically like Strider.......and Jesus had seven disciples........In my story it would be people Strider has helpped Demios, Elistral, Jake, Konjou, Verin, Cher, and Orcus.......there is also in the bible an anti-christ and the four horseman of the apocolypse.......Mal would be the Anti-christ and George, The Dark Lord, Marie, and Reaper as the four horseman (George as Pestilance, The Dark Lord would be war, Marie as Conquest, and Reaper as the horseman of death lol I just noticed this myself XD) also in the story of the anti-christ there is a mention of jesus (Strider in my story) comeing to defeat him wearing robes of blood colored red.......Striders coat is red lol.......Now im srry for this really long explanation but it just goes to show you just how long ive thought about this lol XD))
"So what your saying is that with just a single movement I could be affecting the very course of history....and Strider has been changeing history at just the right time to create the scenario right now......but if that is true then why did this future have to come to pass? Why couldn't he have just created a scenario that made it to where all the death and hate never came to pass?" -Jake's true feelings about what had happened had finally came and he was angry and confused. Then a light shown to the side of the two and an image of Strider appeared-
"Hello all. Astral projection....Mal is asleep so I decided to come and clear up a bit of your confusion Jake. Well your right I could have made this future not come to pass but I had no choice. This is the future that lead to the best possibilities."
"The best possibilities? Almost everyone on this planet is dead because you didn't make a better future! This is your fault!"
"Don't you think I know that! You do not know the suffering and anguish I feel everytime I think about all the people who have died because of my actions." -Strider sits down on a fallen stone and tears begin to fall from his eyes- "Do think I wanted to do this? The only reason I am is because there are none left that can. Fenrir isn't powerful enough to fight Mal without being seperated from the flow of destiny. It is a kind of barrier that seperates him from this time stream so he can't change the course of time by observing. But I do this job out of duty for if I do not then there are worse fates than this. You don't know Jake the torments of knowing that the actions you take mean the death of millions. For I see all futures, I see all possibilities. I know the outcome of this future and this one is the only one that shall end the way that is needed. Have you ever wondered why I always wear these shades?" -Stirder points at his red tinted shades-
"Its to hide the scar over your left eye right?"
"Yes but there is a deeper secret to be beheld." -Strider takes off his shades to reveal his right eye being purple and the left closed with a straight scar going down from the eyebrow to the bottom of his eye. Then he opened his left eye to reveal a pitch black eye with images of people dieing and things crumbleing away and planets being destroyed and finally a blackened being roaring fire into the air. Jake saw these things for only a second but it was enough to make him feint from the shock of what he saw. A future where all things are destroyed. Stider closed his left eye and put his shades back on. Then Jake twitched and then he seemed to begin going into a seizure- "Fenrir whats going on?" -Then a dark energy washed from Jake and Jake began to speak with a voice that wasn't his own-
"Hahahahahahaha. Darkness comes and fire shall devour the universe in a doom! The time of light shall end and the world of Darkness shall begin! You will die and I shall rise from the nether and take this realm as my own. Know that none shall be unaffected. None shall be untouched and my vengence shall be completed. Darkness comes Strider. Hmhmhm. You are all going to die. Hahahaha..." -Then the dark pressence dissapated-
-Strider stared at the still uncouncious Jake with a look of disbileif-

((Lots of "..."'s too, those part of the explanation? Lol, 'kidding, I love anything to do with the apocalypse myself... Well, alot of people's stories for their characters get influenced by stuff, like TV shows or books. =D))
"Watching isn't the only thing I do, sometimes I get to do stuff." Fenrir mumbled a little huffily as he crouched down next to Jake. He felt for a pulse then put a hand on his forehead to check his temperature. "His heart rate's faster, and he's a little cooler than normal. Other than that, the boy needs some rest. That took alot of energy from him." He remarked, before looking up at Strider. "As for what just happened, you just revealed your secret to someone who wasn't supposed to know quite yet." He said a matter-of-factly, but his expression was a little grim. "Meaning, you've just awakened an ancient dark force, more powerful than almost anyone can imagine. It has been watching for countless centuries, biding its time until it could finally act. I guess it needed some fount to use so it could make contact with you, and chose Jake." He took a coin from his pocket, one side completely white and the other pitch black, and spun it on the ground. "Everything in existence has two sides. For all the good in the world and pure deeds, there must be corruption and dark deeds as well. Therefore, while Fate is the former, there is a latter." He picked his coin up as it started to slow its spin and wobble, then flipped it in the air. "Congratulations, you've just made the scales tip a little, which might not be such a good thing." Fenrir caught his coin and gave a small smile showing his sharp canines as he held it up, revealing the edge's gray side.
Crow pushed open a door hanging on its hinges and peered in a house. Piles of ashes were the only things in there, so he closed the door again and went to look in another house. It was the same thing and with another house he found after that.

"You don't have to lecture me Fenrir. Ive been doing this since before you were even born and Fate has no hold over me. I knew this would happen. For this is what I wanted to happen. Take him back to the others and tell Fate i've made my own plans. Besides that good day Fenrir. I have a bone to pick with a demon." -Strider's astral profjection dissappeared. It reappeared sitting on a high stone behind Crow- "Do you see now the evil that Mal has unleashed Crow? A living hell of a planet is all thats left. Though some people survive everything else is gone. Theres no food no water and no resouces. Most of those who had survived went to Mal because they felt he was their only hope. But I give you one final chance. I give you a chance to change your future for the better."

Fenrir put the coin back into his pocket, then placed his chin in his hand and frowned again. "I can't have just a little fun? Honestly." He watched the sky begin to turn a faint purple then a light pink, thinking. Then he looked down at the unconscious inu boy and his expression softened. "Well, I can't leave you here, can I? This place isn't safe anymore." He stood and lifted Jake up, supporting his weight. He took a look around, then disappeared, popping back in the library to drop him off. Verin pushed the plate away from him, feeling full, and got up to lay on a couch. He stopped when he saw Fenrir, go to a different couch and set Jake down. "What happened to him?" He asked. Fenrir grabbed Elistral's folded cloak and laid it over Jake, then answered Verin. "He fainted, must be really tired." "Something's happened, hasn't it?" Elistral asked, glancing up at Fenrir. Fenrir smiled. "It's nothing to concern you with right now." Then he disappeared and stood silently in the white space he reappeared in. "I don't need to tell you, do I?" He stated more than asked, his voice sounding a little irritated now instead of its usual cockiness. Fate's voice came drifting to him. "Correct, I already know." It paused before speaking again. "You're not usually like this, only after talking to one of my parts. Why?" Fenrir sighed and looked to the side. "You should already know, or at least have guessed. But I don't think you guess very often."
Crow stopped but didn't turn around at Strider's voice. "You're too sentimental, Strider. I gave you my answer the first time, I don't think I need to say it again either." He shook his head. "The only thing that I regret, is that what Mal did killed almost everyone, including my familiars, so now I have nothing to do. The lives of millions lost, or even the lives of those about to die, gives me no guilt whatsoever."

"Then I pity you poor Crow. Truely I do. We shall meet again soon enough though next time it shall not be in a way you would expect." -Strider's Astral projection dissappeared and Strider was back in his own body. Then Mal awoke from his sleep-
"Hmm it would appear Crow lives."
"How might you be able to tell that?"
"Well for one thing I saw him through one of my magical eyes." -Mal sends out a thought to Crow for him to come to the palace- "He should be here soon enough."

Verin shrugged and laid down on an opposite couch, propping his head up on the armrest. He closed his eyes and sighed. Rore took a long draught from a cup he grabbed and looked questioningly at him. "Who was that?" Verin opened and eye, about to say something but stopped. "Who was that?" He echoed to no one in particular. He glanced at Elistral and Rore did too. Elistral grew aware of the silence of the room. She looked up at the two staring at her. "I don't know, he never said his name or who he was. But Jake seems to know him." She went back to reading the book before her on the table. "Ask him when he wakes, or when that person comes back, as him." Verin frowned and then shrugged again before closing his eye and drifting into a light doze. Rore sat and looked around, almost noticing his surroundings for the first time.
Crow growled at Strider's words and turned around, but saw no one. He shook his head and laughed, mainly at the man's persistence. Then he stood still, hearing a message from Mal come to him from in his mind. He took a last look at the ghost of a city and slipped his cloak off of his shoulders. A growing pain started to form at his shoulder blades, becoming more intense. A ripping sound was heard and two wings burst out from his skin, black feathers ruffling slightly. He wiped the blood that had trickled down his chin from biting his lip, he hadn't done that in a while.

-Jake awoke in a daze- "Ugggggggh. What happened." -He shivered- "Im cold." -He looked around- "How did I get here. All I remember is......." -Jake thought hard but couldn't remember a thing-
-The Darkness was beginning to take shape forming a cloud of black in the white nothing that was Fate's domain- "You must hurry Fenrir. This plain of exsistance won't be safe for you much longer. For not even I can protect you."

((Jake's a very emotional boy! The way you control him, he's almost emotionless! *throws a pencil at Strider*))
Verin mumbled something in his doze at the sound of Jake's voice, but otherwise didn't answer.
Elistral looked up at Jake and turned a page of the book she was reading. "We don't know anymore than you do. A few minutes ago, you said you would return by midday. But unless time passes faster outside of this place, then it hasn't been too long." She went back to reading, adding. "Someone left you here though, before leaving." This was all so odd to her, what was taking place. For now though, she lost herself in reading of some distant place she knew wasn't destroyed.
Rore nodded in agreement and looked at Jake. He wanted to ask a question that had been bugging him. "You look so young, but you talk as if you know more than you do. Where is your family?"
Crow took one last look at the place called Silver City. It was a pity that he would have no fun before he left it, but it didn't matter. He would live a long time, and there were probably many later dates where he could have fun. He shook his head and jumped in the air, his wings flapping to gain height. He figured he knew where the place was that Mal's palace was, angling one wing to the south to turn. As he flew above the ground, he frowned a little. Everything was gone, with fewer trees than there had been dotting the burned plains. Every now and then, he saw a beast of some kind, going the same way he was flying. They must've survived whatever had happened.
Fenrir raised an eyebrow, curious. Was that...fear, he heard? If such an unemotional voice could portray something like that, he would be amazed. But, this didn't seem like a time to be joking around. Whatever that cloud was, it must be powerful if even Fate itself ouldn't protect him. That much was obvious, as he watched the black cloud warily. "Very well." He nodded and cast one last look at the gathering cloud and disappeared. He reappeared outside of a sprawling city, electric lights on even though it was daytime. He'd return when someone needed him, right no he had other jobs to do, not just on that one world, even though it was pretty interesting right now.

((lol im srry i'll try harder T-T)) -Jake looked at Rore weird. He hadn't been asked that in several years. Jake was lost in thought and had almost forgot Rore until he shoke his head and looked at Rore again to answer his quesion- "Sorry if I spaced out. Now uh well.....I grew up takeing care of me and my younger sister and well..." -Jake rubbed the back of his head and sighed not really knowing how to explain things so he would understand so he decided to just get to the point- "Well at one point I had died. That was when Strider found me and gave me this body so I could take care of my younger sister until she passed away. You see uh this body is the body of his younger brother Kain who had died and so this body is immortal but I was not so I may look young but really im about as old as you are Sir Rore. Do you understand?" -Jake looked at Rore hopeing he would because if he didn't Jake wasn't going to explain again-
