"A noble end..." Issildia said quietly, "Myself and a number of others managed to rescue a few of the survivors, we arranged for them to be taken to Keirdon, and to safety." Issildia paused for a moment the resumed a recollection of the events that had transpired. "My father the emperor, sent out a group of soldiers to hunt down the survivors...though outnumbered, my companions and I fought the soldiers sent to deal with the remaining Anierians...we managed to turn the soldiers back to the main army..."
Issildia's voice died away and it was a few moments before she could bring herself to speak again. "My Father...being the coward that he is...he burned the city...leaving it in ash..."

Archers jaw trembled, and he almost spat the word, "Bastards." he jumped from the tree, landing on the ground, and fell over. He picked himself up and groaned. Without looking up, he asked, "You got any food? I didn't pack enough, or I would have helped you kill that b*****d of your father." He spit on the forest floor. He stood, pulling out his bow, its light giving off enough of a glow to see in the forest.

Issildia stepped off of the branch half-heartedly, her cloak billowing back as she quickly descended towards the ground. Then as she hit the ground she landed as though only jumping from a three foot fall, her knees only bending slightly to absorb the shock, then without hesitation she continued forward at a idle walk. "Our camp is little under a mile to the west, you may take what you need from there, such as food and water or whatever you require"

"I thank you. It was awful here in the forest without food. I can't imagine what it was like for you though." he felt guilty, and it showed in his voice. He walked with her carelessly, lost in his thoughts. He kept an arrow in his bow, his hand ready to spring back. Eleazor still wept in its place on Archers side. Archer looked ahead of him, and idly asked "So would you care to tell me more about yourself?"

"Not really," said Issildia darkly, "But I suppose it would be better for you if you were informed of a few things..." She paused before continuing, "So...what do you wish to know?"

"First of all, why were you exiled?" he looked at her, his normal peaceful demeanor seeming to be gone. Red showed in his eye, which was anger in his race. "Why would he do that to his daughter?" El calmed his anger, by emitting a low noise similar to music, it's lyrics only understandable to Archer.

"My father killed my mother, well in all fairness ,he sent my brothers ,Marcus and Ilderan to kill her as she and I escaped Larovia, and fled to Anier...My mother died within sight of the White City...So close to salvation, only to die..."
Issildia looked away from Archer as she continued. "My brothers left me for dead, but I survived...I was rather young then and did not understand things as I do now. I grew up within the Anierian military, and I lived then only for revenge, and soon this passion for battle gained me a place among the assassins of Anier."
Finally Issildia looked at Archer, "At fifteen I returned to my homeland to repay my clan for the murder of my mother, and I accomplished this objective...I killed my own brothers and as such I was exiled from Larovia, never to return to my homeland again....still I intend to deal with my father in the same fashion as my brothers soon enough."
Issildia's last words were uttered with hatred and grim determination

"Mm." he could see the emperor was a sicker person than he thought. "Would you like to hear my past? Eye for an eye they say." He looked down, subconsciously looking at his fathers dead face. He almost stopped walking from the shock at remembering he hadn't thought of him for a long time.

Issildia arched an eyebrow at him as he offered to divulge into his own past. "Yes, an eye for an eye...Do tell then."

((ah, the limits of time, lucky me rolleyes well yeah I'll ttyl))
Archer leaned his head back, looking into what little sky he could see. "Well, when I think it was when I was six, or at least around then, when your father's troops were on the horizon. Me and my parents were lucky we were Azeriens, or we wouldn't have known they were coming. For about a week we fled in any direction was safe. I remember, my parents didn't eat a single thing. Every animal or fruit we found they gave to me. At the end of two weeks, they couldn't go on. They knew they were going to die." He lowered his head, his hair now blocking his face from veiw "They knew I'd make it though. They sacrificed themselves for me. The last thing they did was give me El, and my bow. I have since learned to use them, but my mothers last words still wake me." he sighed "She said, almost exactly, 'Death follows few, but it will be after you. I and your father love you always.'" he almost gasped out the last words. The words had hidden meaning to him, but it was apparent that they were important.

"I am sorry that you lost them," said Issildia, "But at least you had parents that cared for you...you can be thankful for that much."
As she stated this they finally entered the small clearing that was she and Streak's small campsite. "Here" Issildia said as she tossed him a water-skin, along with a pouch of food. "Take what you need, we will be departing soon enough, to Altera to gather further supplies to make it to our next destination."

Streak lay restless back at the camp. As the Sun rose a terrible thought hit Streak. "My last day of freedom." He didn't understand his thoughts he just knew that today was thelast day he would be himself. "And the 3rd from the very last." He decided he'd wait for Issildia. Maybe she could decipher his thoughts.

"Yeah..." is all he could say in reply to her. He looked around the clearing, and caught the water and food as she tossed them. Archer drank the water quicly, but was careful not to spill it. He did not share the same carefulness for the food however, as he ate it amazingly fast, crumbs getting all over the front of him. He sat back when finished, and brushed off his clothes. He wiped his face with a leaf of a large plant, and sat on the ground cross-legged. He set down Eleazor and his bow, and then sighed. "Thanks for the food, it was a life-saver." he breathed in slowly, and out again. "So when do we leave?" He wiped his hands on a few leaves, and used some more water to clean his face and hands.

(((I thought it was only the beginning of the second day since the battle Streak...oh well...)))"We? No I don't think you shall be coming, we will be moving with haste, and can not afford to be slowed, unless of course you can manage to keep up...we will be journeying into the Aldrene desert...a place that spares no mercy to unwary travelers." Issildia paused as she noticed that Streak was awake, "And the ones that we hunt are...dangerous, to say the least...Would you be one to die for a cause that you are uninformed of ? To be blunt the question would be...Why would you wish to help us"

He stared blankly at the floor. "Well, honestly I think I can keep up with you. I am foreign to no terrai, and I think I could be of use to you." He sighed, "Now that the white city has fallen, i have nowhere to go, and no purpose. I would like to help you in your task, as I have nothing to die for. As for being uninformed, I was planning to change that very shortly. If you would share your information, I would be only your tool. I will depart if you doubt me, but as far as I am concerned, I am at yur mercy." he looked up, his eyes fierce with determination.
