Arianna turns over alot. at my last ultra sound a big bumb started on the left side of my tummy andmade it's way across to the right then dissapeared. When I squealed the lady doing the u/s said that is a sign that she has turned over.
She was makeing it very difficult for the lady to look at her because she wouldn't stay still lol.
But anyways... Arianna will find a spot in my right side and push relentlessly. It hurts after a while. I really think she'd trying to escape.
BTW She is due Jan 11. A month after yours Maleficent!

I get to have a shot of penicillian every four hours during labor.
Whoo hoo Group B Strep.
Well not really, but it's not that big of a deal. I can still do all the things I want to in my birth plan.
Not leaking amniotic fluid like I feared I might be. I was wet through my jeans while shopping yesterday. The CNM said it could just be urine leaking as the baby moves down and I waddle my a** around...God Pregnancy is just like lovely flowers and such all the time. xd

Well I had my first ultrasound yesterday. It's a boy!! He is an active little guy too. He kept kicking around. I think he will be a soccer player like his dad! When the lady doing the ultrasound tried to sneak a peak between his legs he kept trying to cover himself. It was almost like he knew we were looking at him! We also got to see him yawn and suck his thumb. The lady got us a great shot of him sucking his thumb and I so adore the picture!! Most importantly the doctors said everything looks good and normal. The only problem is I seem to be losing weight and not gaining it. I don't understand how it's happening but i hope to change that by my next appointment!!

hi guys! Well i just found out on sunday (i took a few early pregnancy tests) that im gonna be a mommy again. I have my first prenatal appt next friday dec 16th. This isnt my first but i am a bit outta touch with the whole pregnancy thing since my son is almost 4 now. Im so nervous and excited but trying not to get too excited because i have an elevated risk of miscarriage because of my adometriosis. I have my fingers crossed and hoping all goes smoothly. I have a rather silly question but what all goes on atthe first prenatal visit?(i feel stupid for not being able to remember)

I_am_Maleficent Has anyone ever had their labor enduced? I was supposed to be induced because my baby girl has 2 holes in her heart that are so close together that they pretty much form one large one. They wanted to induce me so I could go to Indianapolis where we would be closer to Riley in case she needed emmediate attention. but they think she is strong enough that she will be fine. After I was told that I would not have to be induced after all my mother in law siad that it was a good thing because the stuff they give you to start labor is like liquid hell. It apparently is very painful.

Congrats!! My first visit I just met with one of the nurses. She weighted me, took blood, took my blood pressure, and asked about my and my fiance's medical history. Umm...I think that that was about it. Congrats again!!!

If I remember correctly, you pee in a cup, get weighed, go over your medical/family history, and get sent for a blood test.

Thank you! The picture is really cute and my favorite out of the few she gave us! I would love to post it but I don't have a scanner or anything. I was told the next ultrasound will be a 3D one and we are allowed to bring a disk or a tape and they will record it for us. I am really excited for that one!

Things could have changed a bit since the last time you were pregnant so asking is always good. BTW CONGRATS!

My first pre-natal was weighing, blood pressure, filling out a lot of paper work with a nurse [family history, all that fun stuff] and discussing any symptoms I was already having, then I had to go take a urine sample and the massive bloodwork.
Congrats on the new addition! whee
OOOH, I can't wait to see the ultrasound pictures, Syllandra. Our US is in just under 3 weeks!
