Kahlilia nodded. "Maybe when she comes back, yeah. Its a curious case," She said quietly. She too was beginning to drift off into LaLa Land, and when standing it was a feeling like you were going to faint - and yet never would, no matter how much a person might yearn for it. Kahlilia laughed. "Wow, really?" She paused for a moment, but a smirk spread across her baby-like face and she nodded. "Yes. You know what, that would be fun." Benvolio nudged Roman a little, done with being affectionate and now looking for some sort of snack. Kahlilia stifled a giggle and murmured "Just like a child" laughingly.

Roman chuckled, patting Benvolio's neck. "Sorry, boy. I've got nothing." Smiling at Kahlilia, he said cheerfully, "Then bring your lad there and we'll get Phoenix to come and play." Scooping up the stallion's halter, he went back out towards the paddocks.

They rode in silence then, keith pulling ahead before dropping back, then pulled ahead again. That gate there. He told Emily, slowing to a canter.
Nanina hopped up on the counter, not wanting to cross the room to the table, and tilted her head back to looka to the ceiling. No siblings. Well, I had a little brother once, but he died from SIDs.

Kahlilia nodded obediently and mounted Benvolio after dutifully putting on his saddle and reins. Benvolio seemed eager to ride, tossing his head as though to show off his blond-ish mane to Kahlilia and making soft snorting noises. Kahlilia pet him gently and followed Roman quietly, making sure to stay a bit of a distance away. "How are you going to find Phoenix?" She asked Roman. She was about five yards behind him, and she knew Benvolio's ears were twitching because he wanted to run in the fields, or do anything else except for walking at the slow pace that he was right now.
"I guess all I can really say to that... is that that sucks." Xavier shifted uncomfortably and finally moved, walking the few steps that it took to stand beside her. And then he was quiet again. Noise in any of it's many forms could always be expected from Xavier, and yet there was none. The only noise was the wind shaking the trees outside and quiet breathing. Xavier felt like an automaton.
Finally, a loud noise broke the silence. Xavier looked like a deer in headlights until he realized it was his phone ringing in his pocket. He opened it and stared at the screen for a second before making a disgusted noise, turning it off, and putting it back in his pocket.

Roman smiled faintly. "I won't have to," he replied, pausing to stroke a little pinto that seemed interested in his pockets. "If what happened last time I came out is any indication, he'll--"
He was interrupted by the soft sound of hooves behind him. The pinto trotted off, and Roman felt breath against his neck. He grinned up at Kahlilia as he turned to pat Phoenix. "He'll find me," he finished. He draped the lead rope over the stallion's neck and offered him the halter - a show of friendly respect, if the horse chose to take it that way. Phoenix snorted, but allowed Roman to put it on. The boy grinned. "Now I'll run back to the barn and tack him up. Meet you out here in ten," he promised, walking back to the barn with the stallion.
He was back out in five, mounting quickly and blinking down at the ground. "Wow. This is...really high up," he said with a sheepish smile.

Emily followed his finger and saw the gate he was pointing to. She slowed Apollo to a canter and sat tall and proud on his back.
" Tel me, do you live on your own or with your parents still?" Emily questioned having the sudden feeling that his parents might not like her.

So, to the postoffice, right? Shannon looked at Esmeralda in te rearveiw mirror beofre turning down a well paved street thatlead into the small town.
Nanina jumped when his phone went off, and she cast a curious glance when he made the disgusted noise. Let me guess, annoying ex?
Keith took his hat off and wiped his brow with his sleeve. Putting the cowboy hat back on, he kept riding and answered, I live in a cottage on the back of the property.

" Ah. I have always wanted to live in one of those. Nice and homey." Emily said smiling a bit then cleared her throat to ask her next question.
" Why did you ask me to come with you? Why not some other girl? Not that i'm complaining" Emily questioned with a tilt of her head as she patted Apollos' shoulder without taking her eyes off of Keith.
It made her wonder yet for now she would wait and be the judge at the end. After all she still had problems of her own to get through. The pain had yet to diminsh but rather it was simply tucked away deep in her heart; saved for another time.

Keith shrugged, letting B have his head and the stallion turned to pass through a break in the tree's. The horse well knew how to get to Keith's cottage. Well, truthfully? I just wanted some company and I didn't think that it'd be a good idea for you to be alone right now. He smiled back at Emily and then added, Plus, i want to get to know you better.

Kahlilia's eyes widened. "Wow, I would imagine so." She said when she saw him on Phoenix's back. While Roman had been in the barn, Benvolio had allowed himself to gallop around the barn without any given signal from Kahlilia. She returned Roman's smile, having to look up at him because even though Ben was tall, he was at the same time shorter than Phoenix was. In fact, it wouldn't surprise her if Phoenix was an alpha male. "D'you want to go by the fields? Theres a ton of open space, and its really beautiful."
"Heh. Annoying is a compliment for that b***h." Xavier stared at her. "How did you know? Have some stories?" He seemed very intrigued suddenly, like he was drifting in and out in some strange fog that only he could see.

" well that kind of you." Emily replied allowing Apollo to have his head completely since he was followig B.
She returned the smile faintly and stared ahead as they passed through a break in the trees. Apparently his cottage was farther out then she had presumed. But hey Emily wasn't complaining about the distance, it allowed her to enjoy the scenery.

Nanina nodded an exasperated yet humorous smile lifting her lips. I haven't checked my phone in thirty minutes and I have. . . She pulled a thin phone from her pocket and flipped up the screen. Nineteen text messages, fourty-seven missed called, and twelve voicemails. She ran her hand though her hair and let out a deep sigh, flipping through the missed calls to see if her parental unit had called. They hadn't.

Just there. Keith rode straight on, a white glipse of wall showing through the tree's.

Emily saw the white beyond the trees and felt as if it was fairytale. She couldn't help but be reminded of sleeping beauty and the cottage that the fairies raised the girl Aurora in. Yet that made her chuckle softly at the childish thought.

Shortly after pointing it out, the tree's cleared and a small meadow could be seen, the cottage just in the center. Hopping off B, he flippped the reins onto the saddle and stroad to his home. Want to see something pretty? Keith asked, turning his head to look at Emily.
