He smiled. "I guess you're stuck running for now, but it'll have to end sooner or later." He leaned back against the edge of the spring and stretched.

"I wish it would end sooner. I just want to rest." He leaned backwards, closing his eyes. "But first... I have some things to do. Revenge." He paused, a single tear running down his cheek. "And retribution. If I can do one good act before I die, it would be avenging Louise's death."

"How will you avenge her if you're sure you killed her? Were you convinced to hurt her by someone else?" He was genuinely curious and stared almost intently at Reaper.
(I've got a lot to do tomorrow, so I'm out. Good night.)

(( Alright, night night ))
"Well, I'm pretty sure I killed her... but when I was using the seal. Which my father forced on me when I was born. All of my brothers, myself, and my father have it. It makes you insane, if you use it too much, and that's what happened to me." He rubbed his eyes. "I have to kill my father, for revenge. For myself. And for retribution, I have to kill all my brothers, and then myself, so that no-one else can find out how to use the Dark Seal... and so that no-one else is cursed by it, or loses someone they love to it."

He just nodded. He couldn't quite understand the whole thing, but it was depressing. He rubbed his hands along his upper arms, feeling oddly cold in the water.

((Okay guys. Let's get this started back up, and not let it die again.))
Lishkra woke up slowly. He was bleary eyed and in a depressed mood. Standing up, he looked around. I wonder where everyone went. Walking out of the lounge into the main hall Lishkra's eyes drifted to the staircase.
Jonath's face flashed in Lishkra's mind. Frowning he started up the stair case, not even noticing that he had left his staff in the lounge. The going was slow and painful for Lishkra. He had still not recovered from fighting the bandits. When he had at last reached to the top of the staircase Lishkra leaned against the banister heavily until he could move on.
Looking down the right hallway, Lishkra saw Jonaths door was ajar. Lishkra walked down to Jonath's room and looked in. Jonath was lying on his bed, his face contorted in confusion and pain. Jonath had a large gash in his neck and his clothes and the bed sheets were soaked in blood. "No" Lishkra whispered in horror.
Moving close to Jonath, Lishkra felt a pang of sorrow. He had been so rude to this man. There must be someway to bring him back to life. Any way. A tear ran down Lishkra's face.
Lishkra leaned towards Jonath and closed his eyelids. Then he composed the body with Jonath's hands crossed on his chest. Kneeling, Lishkra began a prayer. Praying to the black god of magic that Jonath would rest in peace, somehow brought peace to Lishkra himself. After his prayer Lishkra stood up and wrapped the bed quilt around Jonath, making it snug.
As he left Lishkra whispered into the room "I'll be back with help so you can get a proper burial. Good bye Jonath." As he left the room and closed the door, Lishkra's resolve became stronger. So long as he lived, he would protect the people in his inn. It would be different this time, this time the people he loved wouldn't slip out of his reach, into death's realm.

Athena let her pegasus, Amor land near the inn. She rubbed his white silky neck and looked around. "Hum. Wonder what to do?" She said to Amor. The pegasus tossed his forlock and snorted. Athena smiled and dismounted him. She saw the Inn's door and went to it. Amor looked around and fanned his massive wings. Athena looked back at him and smiled. She knocked on the door and waited.

The knock on the doors of the inn made Lishkra jump. He chided himself for a child at being startled by such a silly thing. Anyway, if it was more bandits they wouldn't have knocked. They would have most likely broken in through a window or any number of other variations of vandalism. That reminds me, that and Jonath's death, I need to set up stronger defenses.
The wards around the inn seemed to have not been enough. I need to set up some formidable physical defenses. Breaking out of his reverie Lishkra started down the hall, then down the stair case. Once at the bottom Lishkra prepared a spell in his mind just in case it was a more polite form of bandit. The extra drain on his body from the spell would probably kill him, but what else could he do?
He could try running and finding the other inn inhabitants, but the bandits would easily run him down. Ah well, nothing to be had for it I guess. Lishkra crossed the main hall and came to the door. Once at the door Lishkra grabbed the handle and swung it open. "An elf!?"

Amor jumped and fanned his wings. The pegasus snorted and looked at the man. He smelled the air and pawed. Athena smiled and looked at the man also. She twirled her white hair around her index finger and smiled. "Hello. I'm looking for a place to stay for a while. I hope you don't mind my mount? He is very friendly wants he gets to know you." Athena smiled and held out her hand. "Its nice to meet you. I'm Athena Santee." She smiled again kindly and cheerfully. The elf looked at the building. "Is this place old?" she asked. "Oh I'm sorry for talking so much. I love to be cheerful and animals are my main happiness." She looked at his expression and blinked her eyes. Amor only snorted and pawed the ground.

Lishkra shook her hand. He was furrowing his brows the whole time she was talking. An elf that acts like a human. Fascinating. She has a pegasus too, those are hard to come by.
Once she was done talking, Lishkra smiled. "It's nice to meet you too. My name is Lishkra Magaera. Don't worry about your pegasus, I have stables, and yes this place is quite old." Lishkra stepped aside and sweeped his arm inside the inn, "do come in."

Athena smiled. She looked over at Amor. "Be good tell I find a place for you to stay." She walked in and looked around. "Wow its pretty!" She smiled and looked at the man. Amor snorted and found a large to stand under while waiting for Athena to come back.

Once Athena was inside Lishkra closed the door. Then he came to stand by her. "Yes it is. So, the pay is two steel a night, or you can stay here for free if you work here. The pay is three steel a day."
"You will be allowed three square meals a day for free, provided you work here. You will also be given a room and a tour." Lishkra turned towards her. "So where did you come from?"

"Well if I could I would like to have a job working with the animals." Athena looked around him at the inn. She brought her eyes back to his and smiled. "I would like a tour. I come from a royal family in the north eastern forest of baellaf. Athena smiled, "I came up with the name but my father named the forest. I am the Baellaf, the Guardian of the forest and our most beloved creatures that live in those woods. The Raer or Unicorns and Ev or the deer. My Baelev is my white stag that helps me and my Baelgael is Amor. I can use the Nddare or wind and Arnith the fire to help protect the forest. One good thing about my blue fire is that it can't hurt the forest. Aithems gave me power to do that." Athena looked at him as she talked. "Sorry I told you I like to talk. She scratched the back of her head and smiled again. "Can you understand the names I'm giving you or would you like me to talk in English?" She asked hugging her bare stomach. The girl had a Silver bow and two scimitars strapped to her back. She also had names for them but didn't tell anyone unless she cried out their name in battle. The elf just stood studying Lishkra and wondering how he worked.

((Sorry I didn't post right away. It takes quite a bit of time advertising for the guild, and it's a pain. I also have to tweek things within the guild. The forest you're talking about, is that the forest behind the inn?))
Lishkra listened to her with curiosity. Royalty. We could use money. Perhaps not the publicity. Lishkra sighed.
Oh well, it wouldn't be the worst thing. She looks like she could be a competent fighter as well. Her talk of blue fire and wind seemed a little far fetched, but if it was true it would either be an asset, or a curse as Reaper put it. An elf isn't usually maelevolent either, especially her by the look of her and her personality. Lishkra smiled again.
"I have just the job. I am assuming being a stable master would be a fitting job?" Lishkra glanced up at where Jonath's room was. Never again. "The stables are behind the inn, so I assume you didn't see them, unless of course you flew over the inn."
