The ground shook from the force that the Fuu demon was running towards Rashnu. As his stocking cap whipped in the wind, the boy put up one hand and shaped his fingers like a gun. As the boy’s body did this the water behind the youth converted into a crude shape resembling a cannon. One drowned demon within was moved to the front. Fuu and six other demons continued to rush blindly in. The water mortar fired. The dead demon became nothing less than bullet. The body was aimed directly at Fuu’s chest. The ogre used it’s weapon to cleave the literal cannon fodder to in half. The two halves of the body still going with the same acceleration hit a demon on each side.
Another of the once alive cannon fodder fired. This time the faceless ogre used his free arm to back hand the flesh bullet thirty feet into the air. A move Rashnu would take advantage of. This back hand opened up the brute’s body and the boy knew where he wanted to aim. The third flesh bullet came faster than the first two. This one exploded in a mass of water, blood, bone and decaying flesh into Fuu’s knee. This brought the monster down to one knee which was perfect for the fourth bullet. It slapped the demon oni in his collar bone and the left side of his face. This shot sent the demon to ground and five feet backwards.
“One left..” one more piece of ammo to be used against four demons. This time the cannon’s opening became smaller and the icy water began to compress and break apart the body. The once full demon was now at the least a hundred small pieces of bone and flesh. The demons were only three feet away when the cannon fired. Instead of one large demon bullet, a million pieces scattered out like the fire from a shotgun. The cannon fired three times. That was enough for the water gun to implode on itself and fall the ground. That was enough to fill the aggressors with enough holes that they completely collapsed upon themselves.
It was not over though. With the fall of the four demons Fuu was charging once again. Too quickly this time. The water began to move to attack the ogre and defend its master. It was not enough. The ogre slashed through the water hitting the boy in his body. This resulted the entire left side of his icy form to crack. Luckily the water and ice managed to stop the blow from a critical and most certain deathblow. Regardless, Rashnu was sent eight feet into the air as the body fell like a dropped toy from a child the blue demon timed its charge so it literally ran over the ice like boy as his body hit the ground.
If the beast had its face it would probably look smug. It turned to where it felt the body fell and slowly walked back. Rashnu’s entire body was cracked like a mirror that someone punched. The water from Kutiel quickly emerged and began to restore the shield, but at a slower pace. As the demon took another step closer it could hear the boy whisper something from what was left of its ears. “… Requiem”. As the demon heard this its left elbow was crushed with a thorny form of ice. The bones cracked slowly and the blood began like a few raindrops. It soon quickly turned into a storm of blood before the oni, the last part to drop in this storm was its arm. Below the grotesque animal Rashnu lay. His right hand balled into a fist that controlled the last attack. The master of Kutiel would not be defeated in this battle.

Gabrielle chuckled softly at the young knight.
"You don't..." she whispered, wondering if Nina had even heard her. The darker knight did not comment further on the blue knight's comment. She only partially shared his point of view. Killing was not amongst her first choice.
Gabrielle took a deep inspiration as she clenched Eosy and Aqual, her beloved air and water katanas. She was ready to welcome the new opponents.
The dark haired knight started running in the direction of the wave, using the winds to propel her faster. The clash was strong. Obviously the monsters had not expected someone to come towards them. The two first creatures met with Gabrielle's blades. She sliced the bases of their wings, creating open wounds which bleeding heavily and dragging the creatures to the ground. One of them tried to flap its wings resulting in the limb tearing apart.
The scent of blood was surrounding the knight, reaching her mind deeper than she wanted. She was playing with fire and she knew it.

"Not Really" Jon was loosing arrows faster than he could count, "As much as I love demons, these are not my closest friends." Quickly with a deft hand he He removed his knife from one sheath to another in preparation, then continued firing wooden missiles Through the air. One was strung wrong thanks to Jon's hurry and a fletching was ripped from it sending the arrow in an awkward path before it planted itself in the earth where it was stepped on and snapped in two. "I'm almost out of arrows, I have five more and then six Lotus arrows before I'm out. How are your supplies holding up?" If he was going to have to run into melee combat he might as well know that Anlu was safe especially since he had lost sight of Mori by now.

Nemo let out a slight whistle watching the captain lunge forward. "Don't know if I'll be able to keep up with her this time." He shrugged slightly brandishing the ax from his back. He let out a cry only heard by the citizens in the dessert running straight into the fray. He bore no armor save for the leather across his chest beneath his garb. The ax was wielded low strangely enough until he reached an opponent and met steel with a sweeping ark that carried enough momentum thanks to the starting position to shatter through armor. The Demons were simple enough it was trying not to be surrounded that was difficult. As soon as he brought one down in front he had to do another sweep behind to guard against flanking. So that was annoying, but that was about to change as soon as he could chop a path to his horse.

Anlu giggled at his demon comment. He was right though, these guyys were nothing like Puck. Trying to keep an ear out for charging sreatures, she reached back and touched eack end of the arrows in her quive, counting them. "I have about ten arrows left... after taht I'll have to use my poisoned daggar." She paused for a second, sending an arrow whistling into the head of a beast. "I'd use some of my other poisons, but they have more of an area effect... I don't want to kill an ally." If she could get far enbough awya from the others she knew she'd lure demons to her because they could sense weakness. However, she knew that despite her certain advantages, that would be a bad move. Good thing there weren't any serious injuries, yet, or she'd have to turn her back on the battle and attempt to heal in the middle of this blood bath.

She felt rather stupid when she heard a lower rank, like herself, answer her question. A blush reddened her pale cheeck as she continued to swing her morning star into the enemies. "Very well... I'll try..." Using her manipulation of the elements, she brought fourth water from the sea, letting it encircle her and Gabri9elle, since they were fighting side by side. The beasts tried to paw through it, but the speed either made them pull back, or it sent them wheeling off in the direction of the flow, running them into their comerades. Sucking in a deep breath, she let her morning star spark with a wild ferocity, and struck the swirling water wall at different points, watchign as it charged the aqua wall. Then, with a great gust of wind, she let the wall expand and fly out at the creatures surrounding them, taking out a good twenty-five at once. "How was that?"

Dropping down behind Nemo, the captains decapitates a charging demon. "You really should be more careful, dearest Nemo." the captains tells him, forgetting the formality of using only his last name in battle. The demons continued coming in streams, and n ow with her back against that of an ally, the captain could be as reckless as she wished, swinging her sword in large arcs, and shooting out streams of blue fire. "You shouldn't be so reckless in the midst of battle~" she almost sings, her voice more melodic than usual as it's obvious she's enjoying herself. "Though I must admit, your form isn't half bad." she tells him honestly, burning a small hoard of demons to a cinder. "Though I do wonder where you're going. You keep hacking in one direction, almost as if you're trying to run away." she muses, teasing him as if everything was completely normal. "You weren't going to abandon little old me, were you?"

"My secret dearest captain, my secret." Nemo brought the ax down on one more demon before whistling brightly. "Now where were we, oh yes you were accusing me of cowardice." He quickly threw the ax on his back and drew the scimitar at his side in all of it's ritualistic beauty. He brought the blade up with a smile checking his reflection for an instant in the mirror like finish of the blade. "But you see dear captain, I am much more adapted to fighting on my horse." Just then shadow came barreling through the demonic horde o stop at Nemo's side. With out saying anything he leapt up on the horse waving the blade in the air and taking up the reigns. "Now shall we continue or are we just going to talk all day," Chuckled slightly charging into the battle once more, this time in a more comfortable position.

"Well I suppose I was wrong, then." she winks at him, waiting until he was on his horse to send another pire of flame off in the opposite direction. "Fighting on your horse? He doesn't look too suited for battle.... though I may be wrong." she pats Shadow's side with affection before turning back to the battle at hand. "Though unlike you, I can afford to be chatty in the midst of this fight. Though I suppose a silly man like you needs concentration to get anything done." she winks at him again, hacking and slashing at the group of demons closing in on her. "Just try not to get yourself hurt. I might not be able to save you a second time." she smiles, giving a small cackle-like laugh before watching him charge back into the midst of everything.

"I see" Jon loosed the last of his arrows and threw the bow back on his back. "Well I'm out so." He pulled the knife out, "I guess I'll have to just manage." He took a foot hold and launched himself into the lines holding the knife in a russian grip, He wasn't going to waste lotus arrows on these fledglings, the weren't strong enough to merit it. Instead his knife was now laced with the venom. A talon came for him, dropped low slicing into the creature calf. It took fifteen seconds of screaming agony for it to lose its life. Jon smiled. Truth be told he hadn't known if the toxic substance would work on the demons. Maybe some holy water would have made it stronger. Perhaps some sat or nettle, that would have to be tested later though. Jon's stance turned low as he wielded the knife with a semi twisted smile. All he needed were scratches in this fight for is brand new concoction to take hold.

Anlu fired slim wooden bolts through ribcages, watchign as one by one beasts went down. Eventually, she too had to draw her blade. "I sense an air of cockyness around you Jon... Have you been holding out on me?" She wasn't even looking at him as she said this, being poor sighted it wasn't like she could see his twisted smile. She just felt these things. On the other hand, she and Jon tended to trade things... poisons being a big one, and sometimes it almost seemed like it wasd a race to see who could come up with what in such and such amount of time. If Jon had something new, she wanted in on it... and she would also have to catch up... she was behind. But hey... smithing and being the only damn healer on the Striders territory made her a little too busy to play around.

Nemo laughed mid stroke as he brought his blade down on those around his horse. "You really must stop under estimating my Shadow, Captain. I believe you would be surprised at how many thing he is more than capable of." Nemo kept striking till he reached into his shirt and removed a couple of black spheres. On his pointer and index fingers he had pieces of flint and steel so that he could light the fuses of the small black orbs with one hand and still wield a sword in the other. After a couple of tries he heard the fuses light and tossed the bombs into the patch of demons. The explosion wasn't large but it was big enough to throw an unsuspecting few off tempo, perfect. Nemo cut his way through their off beats perfectly the instant the black powder ignited. There were a few other options available to the bandit but it seemed that there were far too many allies around to employ them.

Jon chuckled lightly as he ran the edge of the blade over a demons shoulder. "It's not holding out if I haven't field tested it yet." It seemed that Jon had gotten faster and perhaps a bit more nimble in the past couple of years. All of his actions were more fluid, his strikes a bit more precise, despite the few cuts he had taken he seemed to be doing fairly well. The poison was also a pretty good help to, "I have to keep some things my own little secret Anlu."

"Awww..." The girl pretend-whined. "But I thought we were partners... in crime!" Laughing, she darted forward and stabbed a beast that was about to paw at her. She didn't even need to hit a vital with her daggar. The sweet almond scented blade never failed her, even after all these long years. "I guess that means I'll have to start picking up the pace on my own little creations and work up some more trades..." She did a mock sigh as she spun to slice at another demon. "I suppose I could show you... No... I couldn't possibly... especially when I'm the only one who knows it and my entire clan is after me because of it..." She was baiting him. Probably poorly, and they would both laugh as if it were a joke, but still... she knew he'd be asking about it later... even if it was indirectly. She just planted the seed.

Jon shrugged, "Well the way i see it my stockpile is just fine so long as I have the Lotus." Jon head butted a demon, "Ow not the best plan to go with there." He punched the next one in the throat instead. Still hurt the knuckles a tad though. "I'll tell you what, come by next time you think you have something and I'll see what I can do." He brought another down with the poisoned knife before slipping it back into the sheath to soak for a few moments. Now it was just hand to hand till he felt that the dagger was ready to use again. "Good new is that the Rosary Peas are coming in nice. I have plenty of mistletoe and I just got my hands on some moonseed if you need some." How he had acquired these items was probably lucrative considering that Jon had never really been a fan of paying for his alchemical components, but he of all people was not above stealing what he needed, so long as he wasn't stealing from the striders or their allies he was fine.
