As the neck muscles of a Korugaran are stonger then those of a Human, Sinestro managed to choke out what might indeed be the last wors on the matter-but not his last words ever. All he'd have to do would be to shift his body's atoms from positive-charged matter to anti-matter and escape to Qward, and his concored kingdom there. He would unleash this Void and destroy this annoying rabble...a little collateral damage often helps matters anyway. He continued forcing the nerotic synapes with a combanation of his will and his ability to manipulate Fear matched against the hero's own fading willpower...
It didn't work! This wasn't fair! 'Pirate tried to struggle, to get away...why did nothing ever turn out like it was supposed to?

Sentry failed to hear the man's words, but another did...
A sneer broke across the Sentry's face.
"You're the fool," The Sentry took on a negative glow, as if the very light was being devoured around him and sucked into darkness.
"I won't let anyone as insignificant as you brake The Sentry, That is for me alone to do." A dark tentacle shot out and probed the mind of the man in his hands, if the man was exaggerating then that would cause his greatest fear to manifest in his mind. If not, it did not matter, he would just crush him here and now. How dare he try to destroy Reynolds.

Her fist hit flesh. From there she let the rage take over. Her mind felt almost disconnected from her body. She knew she really shouldn't be giving into this but all the pain and anger of the past few months came rushing out in a torrent. Tears began to seep from her closed eyes.

After a few more than effective hits, Daredevil realized that she wasn't stopping. This guy didn't seem like the kind that could take too much of a beating, and if she did much more she might kill him. He let her take one more swing before pulling the man away and spin behind her. He put an arm around her to hold her still and try and calm her down. "Easy. You got him." he said, still holding the man in the other hand.

'Pirate was hurt. More. Gasping and trying to crawl away, he looked up to see Sinestro was too busy to help him...but at least the chains had lossened a bit and-more luck!- the door had been opened a crack from some recent impact(that had probably gone thru him first. ow). he managed to wrigle out of the chains, tokking them in the direction of red lens' and canery's feet without pausing to see if it inconvinienced them any, and got to his feet, shouldered the door open, failed to push it all the way closed, took a large breath, and started down the stairs...
Interesting...a scizophrenic. Odd fear, that...Sinestro thought with clinical detatchment, his teath gritted in concentration, sweat satring to bead on his face, as he did his best to guard against the mental attack...but the mental energy DID have a negative signiture...and his conversations with Paralax, the Fear-Thing during his imprisonment in the Oan Centray Power Battery had gotten him used to such mental intrusions, altho at the time the two prisoners HAD been on the same side, so had not needed to fight one anouther in that bodiless state... Suddenly, he dove at the other humans, hoping to distract the Void, seeing a flash of red cape as his former minion(tho the nerotic man did not yet know of Sinestro's disision) escaped the imidiate frey...

Her breath came in angry gasps but the rational part of her mind was beginning to take over again. The red haze she had been seeing through began to dissipate, the mask's effect finally wearing off. She turned to the man in red. "Wha...What just happened?"

Finally she started to calm down. Good, then she could think clearly again. "You were in a rage an-" Daredevil began, then senced something hit the gound by his feet. Psycho Pirate had managed to free himself, get to his feet and head down the stairs. With the beating he'd just recieved, he was surprised that the guy could even stand. But now Daredevil was starting to get annoyed. He quickly grabbed his grappling hook and put it back together. "He's heading down the stairs" he said with a slight growl in his voice..

"Then we had better go after him. Sentry can handle Sinestro...I hope" She turned toward the entry way to the stairs. But she hesitated maybe it would be better if she let the red man go first especially after what he had just told her she had done.

"Ow. Ow. Ow!. Ow, and more ow..."
'Pirate stumbled and limped down the stairs as quickly as he could...He'd only gone one of two switch-backs down so far, and really wasn't sure as to the stability of them, but right now it was a MUCH better idea to not to be where the others were...he was sure of that.
There was a pressure building in his back-brain...an unfortunatly fermiliar pressure that reminded him of worlds in the sky colliding and dying, and of a small padded room in a place of screaming, where he had sat for years, denying sleep, terrified...
Under his breath, he muttered, "Ess and Ecks and One and Two and Four and Prime..." over and over again without realizing it...

She hesitated, perhaps he should go first. The 'Pirate's powers didn't work on him as well as they did her. "I'll see if I can head him off." he said as he moved past her and down the stairs.

Pirate hears the door and someone's feet on the steps besides his own...he tries to hobble faster, to get to that door...

She followed slowly making sure Sinestro wasn't sending in anything nasty after them. Then she turned and saw that Psycho-Pirate was almost to the door which lead into the rest of the building. With out thinking she jumped over the railing and fell down two stories. Luckily the jarring impact was slighltly muffled as she landed on top of Psycho Pirate.

//Sorry, busy. Yay college...// Daredevil 'watched' as she lept over the railing and landed on the 'Pirate. Well, she stopped him, but now he needed to get down there before he tried anything to her again. Following her move, he lept over the railing, using his club to help lessen the impact by attaching it to the railing. He landed beside them and retracted his club. "You alright?" he asked as he moved in.
