Rhea tilted his head and watched her. He smiled and nods taking the flask from her his hands moving slowly over her skin. He did not care about food now or really the water he just wanted to drag Aras back to the cave. He sighed and took the water drinking it.

Kanis watched Corrah moved and as he spoke to her she could not look up at him. She bit her lip knowing that he was able to see her emotions so well. She sighed and nods, "Yes sir...I will try to remember to ask then sir...and thank you but I am not the smartest one of my siblings. Thank you for you words though sir." She turned to look at his scared hand on her shoulder and her body relaxed a bit though her heart started to race.

Aras finished her meal and wrapped the flask back up in the wrapping it had all been in, then sat and watched Rhea as he finished up, resting her chin on her knees, arms wrapped around her shins. Her teal eyes sparkled as she watched him, and they were filled with undisguised adoration for the wolf boy.

Corrah allowed Kanis to finish her meal in peace. He was tempted to correct her again on her comments, but declined from doing so, thinking that it would get him nowhere.

"As soon as everyone is ready," he said softly, "we will go to meet Armus and Ruran."

Meanwhile, Armus and Ruran had arrived at the large clearing where the six of them would be spending the day. She wasn't surprised to see that they were the first to arrive, Corrah had told her that he would have the girls eat before leaving rather than eat while traveling.

"Make yourself comfortable," she told Ruran as she herself sat against the base of a tree, leaning against it in a very relaxed position. "They should be here soon enough."

Rhea feeling eyes on him started to get a bit self conscious. And he stopped chugging the water closing the cap and walking with his tail slightly between his legs over to Aras.

He looked up and nods at Corrah, "Arrras and me are ready."

Kanis cleaned up and stands, "Ready sir..." She said her bright eyes stealing or at least tempting to steal themselves.

Ruran laughed, "I have to wonder why I am always the first one to have to get ready...he really treats those girls like the fragile things they are.

Aras rose slowly to her feet after Rhea did and smiled at him briefly before looking up at Corrah.

"Are we leaving now?" she asked him, holding her package out to him once more.

Corrah nodded. "Yes. Good. Come, follow me. It isn't far."

He collected the packages from the children and returned them to his bag, then slung his bag over his shoulder and headed back towards the edge of the cliff.

"If you need help climbing down," he said softly, looking over his shoulder at the children, "don't hesitate to ask. Going down is far more dangerous and more difficult than climbing up."

And with that, he disappeared over the edge.

"Don't flatter yourself," Armus told Ruran dryly. "You had a longer walk. They'll be here any second. And if you think you're ready, you've got another think coming - I bet you're still aching from Corrah's training yesterday, he worked you pretty hard for a first day. Especially considering it was the day of your growth."

Rhea laughed and nods walking to the edge and looked at it. He tilted his head trying to figure the best way to get down. He started to pace along the edge.

Kanis moved to the edge and tried to work calmly down focusing just on climbing down. She had down it before because she had to get down from her room. She sighed and moved slowly. Being careful unlike Rhea who was still pacing and who had started to whimper a bit.

"Oh and don't worry I will still woop my sisters in all battle or practice!" He stood up and looked at her. "Yes and it was well worth it I am better than they are because I can now fight nd they can not yet.

Aras moved to stand next to Rhea, reaching out for his hand to stop his pacing, just in case he lost his balance and fell.

"We can work together again," she smiled warmly at him, squeezing his hand tightly. "Like how we got up. Okay?"

Corrah reached the bottom in a matter of moments (considering that it wasn't as long of a climb for him as it was for them) and stood there, looking up at the children. Kanis seemed to be the only one who was even trying so far ... he stood below her, just in case she fell, watching her carefully.

Armus snorted at Ruran in disgust. "You can throw a punch," she told him flatly, "that's all. Corrah hasn't taught you anything about fighting. It's completely different. Just because you can almost always hit what you're trying to doesn't make you any more able to whup anyone."

Rhea stopped moving back and forth as Aras' hand brushed against him. He smiled and nods slowly. He sighed and sad down looking for a ledge. He knew the tree would not hold them again.

He sighed and started to slowly move down towards a ledge.

Kanis slipped once but caught herself and did not say anything even as she made it to the ground. She just turned to looked at her sister and the wolf. She wanted to tell Corrah that it is not so hard as she thought...because she had a beautiful new room and she has to climb up and down it but she did not want to brag knowing it would not doing any good.

Ruran glared a bit his anger starting to build, "They can't even punch...i can always rely on that if we are learning close combat!"

Aras watched anxiously as Rhea moved down the cliff face, ready to reach down and grab him at the slightest sign of trouble. Once he was safely at the ledge, she turned around and lowered herself over the side as well, following carefully after him.

Corrah smiled at Kanis briefly and murmured a soft, "Good job," before turning his eyes towards the other children to make sure that they would also make it down safely.

"If you're learning," Armus retorted disdainfully, "you won't be punching your sisters. That will be saved for sparring, which most certainly will not be this week. Next week at the earliest. Keep in mind, if you work with your sisters instead of against them, you'll learn a lot faster."

Rhea smiled and holds up his hands to help Aras down. He didn't want her to get hurt for any reason. Once she was safe he started looking for another way down.

Kanis nods, "Thank you sir..." she said and moved towards her sister and the wolf and started to climb back up, "Here I will help you both find footings on the way down." She said softly.

Ruran smiles, "OH I will do a bit of both and if Corrah would not step in the way I would have already been working with one of my sisters." he laughed and rolled his eyes waiting for the others.

Aras climbed down into Rhea's waiting arms, then peered over the edge of the ledge with him again, looking to see how they could get the rest of the way down. She was surprised when Kanis came over and offered to help them down - but she had to admit that her sister did look to be very good at climbing already.

"Do you see a place with lots of footholds?" she called down to Kanis, watching her climb up.

Corrah watched in silence, though inwardly he was smiling, and he had to admit (only to himself of course) that he was feeling a little proud of Kanis.

Armus snorted. "You're disgusting, you know that?" she accused him angrily. "Honestly, you're sick. I don't know where you get your ideas from, but there's something short-circuited in your brain, I think."

She snorted again and folded her arms across her chest, then looked away from Ruran, her eyes filled with disgust.

Rhea turned and barked happily at Kanis encouraging her to climb. He kept an arm around Aras just to keep her safe.

Kanis nods, "Yes there are some really large ones too..." she said and then smiled up at her sister, "I guess where I chose to make my room payed off." she said softly. Though she had scrapped up her legs and hands, and her but hurt from a fall but she was alright.

She got to the ledge and nods "Okay when I go down lower your self down were I go...if you drag your feet along the wall you find two foot holds then I will talk you the rest of the way down...and Rhea you follow after her okay?"

Ruran laughed, "Your just jealous that I don't find you attractive...Humans are a waste of time...my mother should be killed for defiling my father's bed with her body." He leaned back against the three he was sitting under. "And it seems that my sisters have her genes...Because they can't be any where on time...and Aras keeps playing with that filthy beast..."

Aras put her hands over Rhea's and watched as Kanis climbed, her admiration for her sister's nimbleness evident in her eyes.

"Okay, I think ... I got it," she nodded, slipping out of Rhea's grasp and moving to the edge of the ledge. "Here I come ..."

Corrah continued to watch in silence, smiling to himself. Kanis was a natural teacher ... he was proud to call her his student.

Armus snorted. "Dream on, pipsqueak," she told him. "You only wish I were jealous. Why would I want you to think I was attractive? You honestly think I'd be attracted to you? Maybe it hasn't occurred to you that I find you as repulsive as you find your own mother."

She looked away angrily. "At least she's safe from your perverseness," she muttered darkly.

Rhea nodded and smiled. He could do that...no problem. He watched the two females moving and then he smiled and started down. He would listen to Kanis as she told both Aras and him where to put their hands and feet.

When she got down she looked a bit tired but turned to Corrah, "We are ready to follow you sir.." she said softly. She almost wanted to go abck upstairs and sleep but she was glad to go on.

Ruran Stood up and glared at him, "I would not want you to be attracted to me! I would not touch my mother if she were the last female in the world!" he smirked, "Though my sisters...well they have enough elf in them for me to consider them...and they should be honored that I would give them the genes to have pure offspring!"

Once they were all safely on the ground, Aras turned to Rhea and hugged him tightly, smiling warmly at him.

"We did it," she whispered into his ear; then she reached for his hand and squeezed it tightly before turning back to the others. "Thanks for your help, Kanis," she told her sister with a wide smile. "I don't know if we could have got down without you."

Corrah had to hide his smile. It wouldn't do for the kids to see that he had - inadvertently - chosen a favourite. It wasn't as if he had meant to ... but it simply wouldn't do for them to know that he had.

"You did a good job helping them, Kanis," he told the girl, sounding a bit gruffer than he meant to. "Good job. Now ... all of you ... come with me."

And he turned and headed into the trees.

Armus snickered. "Hit a nerve there, didn't I? Why don't I go for another - it doesn't matter who you sleep with, even if the person is a pure elf - you could never have what you consider pure offspring, because you're not pure elf yourself! You're nothing but a half-breed! And seriously, your sisters, if you were disgusting enough to go through with your threats, which I don't recommend, would only give you a half-breed as well, and a mental one at that!"

Rhea smiled and held his arms around Aras warmly. Lowering his head to lick her neck he nodded, "Arrras did a great job" He took her hand and held it warmly but as she turned he lowered to all fours. And stood at her side.

Kanis smiled and nodded. "I am sure you and Rhea could have figured it out Aras...your very smart." she turned and bowed her head to Corrah, "Thank you sir..." she said in an even tone though there was a hint of excitement for being told she did well.

She fell into step behind Corrah.

Ruran's fists tightened and his eyes started to whiten in anger. He was almost shaking with rage. "You shut the f@#k up! Your just a dirty human, you don't know anything about my blood! We are not like you disgusting humans...our blood and minds are stronger and more noble you are even fit to walk the same earth as us!"
