Shannon nodded. "Yup. He was there for me when I needed him most. He took care of me and made sure I didn't kill anyone." She laughed softly.

Shannon snapped back from her thoughts and looked at her gently. "Nothing. I just came to this school. He lives nearby, but he tries to let me live a normal life until we have to leave again." She sighed softly.

Shannon shrugged. "Only if you want to. Though Bryden will convince me to take you... saying you're my responsibility"

"I think I'd be best, you did promise" she pointed out. her ear twitched a little "what was that?" she turned towards the door, her ear twitching again and sniffed the air "that smells so gooooooddddd" her eyes widened

Shannon looked nervously from Mia to the door. "Now Mia... Don't do anything rash... Let me go see first." She nervously ran towards the door and peeked out. There was some skilled hikers going by. "Mia I can't let you get past me." She said finally

Shannon crouched her arms out, holding Mia back. "No Mia!" She exclaimed, trying to get the girl into a headlock or at least sit on her.

Shannon growled softly. "No." She commanded, she threw Mia down onto the floor and sat on her, pinning her as best she could. Mia was strong, since she was so new
