Seth dozed in her spot comfortably on the couch trying to think of something. Maryl's ability was very handy but she couldn't be omniscient, which was understandable. Sitting up and using her hands to prop herself up, Seth came up with something, "Okay, try focusing on..." her idea suddenly slipped as she remembered Maryl wasn't at the meeting, it was a good chance she never saw anybody who went to it, so suggesting someone Seth had only seen from fire was fairly unreasonable. "Oh, how about the prince of water? You've seen him before." Seth pointed.

Maryl nodded at the suggestion. She did remember a man Kel was speaking to back in the halls near the castle doors. It took her a moment to remember him more clearly since she didn't see much of his face. "Okay, I'll try.", She nodded, casting her hands around the crystal ball. She began to channel the mana seeping from it as she tried to focus on the prince of water. A deep grumble came from her belly, causing her to pause for a second. "He he, sorry," she appologized bashfully, "Hopefully your dad gets back soon." She resumed channeling quietly.

Entering a fairly rural area, Menos continued up the road becoming fairly uncomfortable at the route he was taking. He wasn't too far from the edge of town but it seemed odd for a business to be out here away from the merchant quarter. Sure enough it was just ahead. Continuing at a brisk pace up the dirt path, Menos approached the fairly large domicile wondering which entrance to approach. With little consideration, Menos took it on common sense to approach the business entry and did so, giving a brief tapping on the door to inform anyone inside that he was visiting.

Seth had been listening and keeping quiet to allow Maryl some concentration as she laid back on the couch again. As the quiet was broken by a faint tapping, Seth sat up. "I'll be right back," she spoke softly to Maryl before getting off the couch and hurrying toward the shop entrance. Since her steps were fairly light she didn't make a sound even on the hard wood floors of the shop parlor as she approached the door and gently opened it just a crack to see out. "We're closed," She said before she got a good look out. As she looked up she recognized who it was on the other side of the door, "Oh, King Menos!" She paused for a second, "We're closed."

Menos nodded, not particularly damaged by the ignorant customer treatment. Taking in some air through his nose, he noded as he watched Seth through the crack of the doorway, "I see. Well I'm not here on business per se, I would like to have a word with your father. Is he in?" Though he wouldn't have been surprised at a slammed door in his face, he was hoping not to intrude overmuch.

"Well, he's not in right now. He should be back soon." Seth shook her head trying to decide over conflicting thoughts, naturally it wasn't a good idea to allow strangers in especially after closing hours, but it was the future King, he should be trustworthy. After a deep breath she narrowed the door. "Okay, come around to the house entrance." She sighed, opening the door just wide enough to give a definitive point in the direction of the porch before shutting the door.
Dropping from the air, Kel landed only steps from the porch with food in tow and ready to go. He quietly approached the front door and paused at the front door, fishing for his keys in his pockets with his free hand.

Menos nodded in agreement and gave a short bow, "Alright. Thank you," He said clasping his hands as he started around to the side of the house where he had seen a small porch and steps from his earlier approach. As he rounded the corner he could hear shuffling, like cloth ruffing from a search. He looked up to see Kel at the front door seemingly returned from a recent purchase. "Kel, greetings. I wish to speak with you about something."

As he had finally found his key, Kel looked over to notice Menos had called out to him. As he adjusted the keys in his hands he plugged in the house key and unlocked the door, "Sure. What is this about?" He pushed open the door and took a step in waiting by the doorstep for Menos to enter the house.

Maryl stopped channeling visions from her crystal ball with a feeling of frustration. Luckily she could hear the rattling of the front door knob as soon as she had, and felt as though at least she managed to pass some time, but she couldn't get a conclusive reading. She frowned as the images just weren't getting any clearer. Sliding off from the couch and standing up, Maryl pouted and approached the front door.

Menos bashfully accepted the welcome, stepping through the threshold and entering Kel's house. His first impression was that it was a very pleasant homestead, as he wasn't inside other people's houses much, he was commonly used to the castle halls and palace walls and to see an actual home from the inside was a rare sight. He shook his head, to clear his excitable distraction with the interior of Kel's living room and gave a brief bow to Maryl so as to not be rude before he turned to face Kel. "I don't want to be a distraction, I was just going to ask you all a huge favor." Menos paused and shook his head, "You kept an eye on Colm and the events preceding the madness within the midlands, I am most grateful to you for that. I would like you to keep some tabs on fire and air if at all possible. I had been wondering about their plans following the meeting as they seemed the most incensed at the result. The leadership of the Air nation has temporarily changed hands and while he may have seemed harmless, I can't see my way to fully trusting the one currently in charge. I know I sound needlessly paranoid, but I can't be everywhere at once and it would do me a great service if you could be of help. Please."

After shutting the door, Kel adjusted himself to reconfigure the weight of his long coat and the food he was carrying. Quietly he listened to the prince's plight, waiting for him to finish his explanation before starting across the living room toward the kitchen. "I see. Well you'll have to ask them." Kel stated and shrugged, unable to point with his hands full. It was fairly apparent he meant his kids since the house was empty otherwise. "It's their anti-war effort. I'm just the muscle." He smirked as he reached the kitchen doorway.
Seth had made her way back from the parlor entrance to the living room only in time to hear about half of what the prince had said. She had taken her sweet time getting back to the front door not realizing her father had returned and simply let the man in. Stopping to stand next to Maryl, Seth tried to patch together what it was Menos was asking before answering. "We can't fight for you. We aren't going to take sides either. ...but if you need an early warning,we'll try. We can try to help you with that."

Maryl stood still trying to feel invisible, it was difficult to look toward the intimidating new king so she drew her eyes to the floor. Her shyness was overcoming her ability to try to be polite and proper at that point, but as her focus drew on being close enough to feel the new king's energy, Maryl saw a few brief but fairly clear images. Her eyes widened in bewilderment for a moment and she looked up, wanting to but unable to say anything. As much as she wanted to, what flashed before her was still fragmented. She couldn't figure it out for herself just yet.

Nodding agree-fully, Menos accepted Seth's terms. "That's all I ask. To be frank, after the coronation I won't even be allowed to take sides. It would be nice if you did happen to come up with nothing and it was all in my head but...", Menos shook his head. Being pessimistic wasn't going to help the situation but blind optimism would only get people killed in a land like this. "You have my thanks." He said giving a shallow bow to each girl. Glancing over in the direction Kel had disappeared into Menos called toward the hall, "Kel, if you don't mind, I will be paying you another visit during business hours." Giving a brief gesture resembling a wave, Menos began to approach the front door. "Till then." He said, opening the front door and stepping outside.

Seth grimaced as Menos hurriedly showed himself out the door, then muttered to herself, "Man, are all royals this pushy?" Thinking back on that statement, she knew the answer to that. After shaking her head, Seth turned to face Maryl. "Well, did you see anything?" she asked politely
"KIDS! GET IN HERE!" Kel called from the kitchen, having spent the time Menos was discussing things with the two of them setting the table for dinner. He felt it a bit convenient that Menos didn't ask to stay for dinner since he didn't anticipate the visit and order more.

Maryl shook her head a bit disappointed with herself but none too distraught, "I'm sorry. I saw something but I'm not sure. It's a confusing jumble." Taking a deep breath afterward, Maryl perked up a bit feeling optimistic. "The images will become clearer soon." She smiled, before walking around Seth and heading toward the kitchen. Normally she would let her surrogate sister take the lead, but by that time she was pretty hungry. Her nose and stomach pulled her ahead and into the kitchen area.
