Roman laughed and jumped into the air, coming back down hard on Rei, sending them bth through the roof of the dilapidated building they had been standing on. Before they even landed on the floor Roman has his huge hands wrapped around Rei's neck in a strangling attempt.
Remus fought back against Alex's own darkness, making his own more toxic. He surrounded Alex's darkness and started destroying it with the toxity of himself. "You will submit to my darkness." Remus hissed in a demonic tone in Alex's head.
Drake heard everything and he was shocked by the strength of Remus and Roman. He further opened his mind so he could get Amelia and Cliff the ability to hear what was happening.
Cliff and Amelia gasped at the same time as the images of the fight started racing through their heads.
"He's portraying what he can see and hear to us." Cliff explained as he got a chair and sat in it. "I suggest you take a seat, because even if they lose this battle we can not leave this house."
Ivy made herself unnoticed and sat in a corner, watching over Holly.

Forced down to one knee, Alekssander coated himself and his whip in darkness. "You don't understand." He said, his voice strained from the pain. "As long as you command darkness, you are under my control!" Still untransformed, he grasped the spiked end of his whip and thrust it toward the side of Remus's head. He hoped that if the strike connected, it would break Remus's concentration and stop the mental assault. The barrier of darkness protecting his mind was deteriorating at a quickened pace.
Amelia gasped in horror as she saw the battle unfold. She wished desperately to help; it pained so her to see Alex in the state he was in. "Drake," she pleaded, "Is there anything we can do?"

Rei smirked as he gripped Roman's forearms, and then walked up to his torso, until he was nothing but a ball against Roman's chest. He then dug his claws deep into Romans flesh, and began pushing with his feet, trying to either break free of Romans grasp, or ever possibly rip off his arms.
Rei Roared loudly as he locked himself into position and began straightening out, the veins in his body pulsating, his muscles tensed.

Roman and Remus cried out and let go at the same time, only taking a half second to reasses things and return to fighting without a second's glance that their wounds.
Remus had a terrible slash across his eye, his black body bleeding a bright red. Roman had numorous gashes in his chest and was bleeding profusly.
Remus attacked again, but from behind Alex, attaching to the base of his neck, digging himself into Alex's brain stem violently.
Roman jumped a few feet into the air and landed with his fist on Rei's gut- a terrible and extremly weakening blow.
"You can not control me." Remus hissed into Alex's mind.
"I'm feedin' you to the dogs, kitty cat." Roman bellowed.
"Nothing, we have other obligations here..." Drake said solemnly through the mind waves.
After a moment he added, "But if it get's too bad our obligations will be to protect our friends there..."

The force of the blow sent Alekssander to the ground facefirst, the back of his neck being torn apart. The pain was brutal. At this point, he only saw two options. He decided to take both of them. First, he took the end of his whip and, his hand fumbling with restraint over what he was about to do, he slashed a gash in the back of his neck, where Remus had entered. At once the warm crimson blood began to flow, but more importantly, Alekssander summmoned the darkness to enter the wound to combat Remus directly. The pain was monumental, but still he continued. Slowly, he got to one knee, then managed to stand up. Summoning forth all the strength he could, he transformed. His bloodcurdling scream tore through the air as once again, he sprouted fangs, horns, wings, and a light coat of black fur. His eyes also again changed from black to red. Curiously, the wound on his neck had healed slightly as a result of the transformation, although it was still bleeding moderately. Now, in a rougher, darker tone, Alekssander growled. "Come out, Shadow. I want to crush you illusions of grandeur."

Remus, slowly leaked out of the back of Alex's neck, only leaving a very unnoticeable piece for possible later uses of malice. He appeared infront of Alex in his shadow form, his figure shimmering and waving with energy.
"I have no illusions for you to crush. So, sorry for crushing your own illusions."

Alekssander scowled. "So be it. I'll just have to destroy you, then." With a deafening roar, he flew foward to meet Remus, swinging his whip, wondering just how exactly he was going to defeat this noncorporeal being.

The whip wrapped intself around Remus' forearm and he cried out in surprise and anger. He also rushed forward, meeting Alex with a hard thump and a slight sizzle of their two different darknesses meeting. Remus grew long sharp nails and dug them into Alex's shoulders as they tumbled over the edge of the building and onto the hard ground with Remus on top of Alex.
Drake's fists balled and he growled, not being able to stand the battle that was out of his reach. "You know why we must stay here, Amelia?" He decided to try to distract her from the harsh reality of what was happening on the other side of the city.

Alekssander, suprised at the tumble they took, took half a second to reorient himself. Once he realized where he was and the position he was in, instead of pushing Remus away from him he instead pulled him closer, as he lunged foward with his head, he fangs aiming for Remus' neck.
Amelia sobbed, her head in her arms as she sat next to Drake. She couldn't take any more of watching the battle. She wished it would all go away. "W...Why?" She managed between sobs.

Drake, slowly, said, "Because if we leave then we've damned us all... We must stay strong and hold our positions to protect our base..." Out of mercy he let his mind release Amelia so she would not have to endure it.
Remus struggled to break free but failed, finally thinking to slip away as a shadow too late before Alex's teeth sunk into his neck. Remus let out a terrible cry that seemed like more than one voice.
Holly twisted in her sleep- her dreams being poisoned by the terrible emotions being sent to her from her friends.

Amelia hugged her knees and was shaking, unnerved by the images of the fight that she saw. Yet she was relieved that she didn't have to watch it anymore. Now all she wanted was for Alex and Rei to come back safely. "Hey Drake? Do you...do you think...they'll find us here?"
Alekssander gave a sick smile as his strike connected, and Remus' warm blood started to trickle into his mouth. Taking the opportunity, he grabbed Remus by the neck and started to fly upwards, until they were about two hundred feet above the ground.

"Let go of me, demon. I will not let it end like this." Remus hissed as he was forced to turn back into his human form. He refrianded from struggling because he knew the consiquences of such actions.
Roman, without warning to Rei, leapt away from him and onto the nearest roof. He glared up into the sky at Alex as he drained his brother of his life. Roman bent his knees and pushed himself into the air, gliding easily to them. He grabbed onto Alex's foot and as he becgan to fall back to Earth, too them both with him.
"No, because we're going to make ourselves invisilbe." Drake said as he returned to them.
"Cliff, Ivy, move Holly down...Down the stairs that I'm going to show to you." Drake said as he revealed the hidden staircase.
"Amelia, you help me get all of our things down there and then make our tacks unnoticeable." Drake said, still listening in on the fight like a radio in the backgruond, but much more emotionally-tied.
