Thorn jumped a bit as the boy suddenly fell to the ground with a crash, his leg at an akward angle as she noticed in surprise that he had not just fallen over; the metal chair leg and crumpled. No human could do that. "What the crap?" she murmured, and poked at the leg as the boy had gotten back in the seat Of course, none of them were human now, if you wanted to be techincal about it.....
What was weird was she actually felt sorry for him. That's right; sorry. She really was out of it. Sure most of the losers here usually ask for some prank and she'd laugh her head off at it, but he had done nothing of harm. He was loud and crazy, yeah, but most crazy people usually stab other people by now, so he was being a good little boy, especially after his computer broke. Normally Thorn was all for trickery, but only for those who actually were asking for it in attitude or actions. Hey, the Red Skies had SOME morals, ya know! This boy had done neither, and that pretty much pushed her to her tolerance edge.
She looked around the room, and blinked in surprise as the boy muttered darkly to himself; things were.......unbending? Her eyes finally met the girl in charge of the mess as the boy was sighing at his knee bruise. Well, if this person could pick a random fork, how about a chair that didn't have someone in it? There were PLENTY of those around, so she obviously meant war.
This punk wanted to test her powers? Fine; Thorn needed a work on hers. She had done the last parlysis by accident, so now she took a moment to stare upon the girl, forcing one to work. It wasn't until the image of her details of her flowing black hair, her tired shoulders and arms as her face was covered, were embedded into the pigtailed girl's mind did she feel a ripple of something run through her eyes. Maybe it was power, or a wave of sorts. She waited to see if Bendy girl could move, but since the deed was probably done, the former gang co-leader then took time to look at something else, right now the chip in her hand. Hey, didn't wanna look guilty, after all. She examined it for a moment before going back to her drink and taking out the ice cubes. Wrapping them up in a napkin, she tossed it to the boy without a word; he seemed to have good catching skills, so he'd probably catch it. She then sat on the ground and opened up the book. Good, none of the pages were damaged, so Thorn began to read immediately, taking in the storyline from where she left off. Her eyes began to throb, but she ignored the pain and forced herself to read. Might as well make herself stronger now.

Hal's laughter died as L fell from his seat - from? No, the chair twisted. She whipped her head around, searching for the perpetrator. Felicia. Hal was suddenly filled with anger. The hell?! And she was so angry at me for abusing my powers! L was muttering something and she looked at his leg. A nasty bruise was rising there. Hal growled. I can't take it anymore! Hal stood up and stared directly at Felicia. She noticed things were unbending, but that wouldn't heal L. "Hey!" she yelled at the girl. "Keep your damn powers to yourself! You've got no right to use them like that after you felt what happened with mine!"

Rai saw the bending of the chair, and he also saw that tall girl with the long hair look at Felicia angrily. He was about to go over and ask what this was all about when Hal yelled angrily at Felicia. Rai raised one of his eyebrows. There was no reason to yell, and what Felicia did was diffrent than Hal. Rai decided that the odds were against his newly aquired friend, so he began to yell back at Hal. "I think what you did and what she did were two totally diffrent things. You went into people's minds, uninvited. That was totally wrong. The mind is sacred. This has nothing to do with you, or your misuse of your power." The more he talked, the more angry he got. Hal went into his mind as well. He knew Hal had no reason to yell at Felicia. With 4 big strides, he stood right in front of Hal, only a few inches away, his face showing a smile of irritation. Control your anger Rai, control it. He chanted this in his head. "I suggest you say sorry for yelling at my friend." Rai "Blood Ghost" Still waited for the apology.

Her focus was broken. People were yelling and using their powers on everybody else. She was furious. She backed up into a wall so she could see everyone. Then she focused on everybody causing the trouble: Hal, this girl Felicia, Thorn was getting angry, 2 other boys. She focused on them, focused her entire mind, putting forth some pretty evil thoughts. Twist, scream, cry out, clench your teeth, feel like you're on fire, stabbing, gunshot wounds, overdosing, PAIN. She felt something like a powersurge, felt her knees buckle, especially her right leg's, but she kept her eyes on them. She wanted them to scream and she waited for it eagerly.

Hal looked at Rai coldly. A part of her couldn't believe they were picking sides like this when they'd been talking normally a few minutes before, but she ignored it. "I have nothing to apologize for, and especially not to you," she told him. "I did go into your minds, and I'm sorry, and it was wrong. But you saw me do that. You know how recently we all got our powers, and how little control we obviously have over them. She should not have used them in a way that could hurt somebody! My mistake should have proved that! You-" Hal was cut off mid-rant by an explosion of pain - not just in her head, in her entire body. She let out a single scream and then clenched her teeth, crunching her body down to try and control it. What- what's going on? she thought as the pain kept coming in jagged bursts. Even when I screwed up before- it was just in my head- @#$&^$#! Through watering eyes, she glared at Rai. For all she knew, this was his power. But to her surprise, he seemed to be suffering too. In fact, everyone around her was...

s**t! Before he could reply to Hal, Rai was bending over, gasping in pain. Rai gritted his teeth, the pain more terrible than antything he could imagine. The pain was every where and everything. Short shots, long agonizing cuts, everything. It seemed as if Rai was not the only one. Everyone involved was in pain. Rai looked around the room. So far, it seemed as if you must look at the person to use your power, and that the price for prolonged use was pain. That meant that there was someone staring at them who was hurt. Rai turned around, scanning the room, every movement making the pain worse. He finally settled on a girl on a wall, who fit the description. Rai glared at the person, thne pointed at her, in to much pain to even talk. The fury took over him the second he layed eyes on her. Rai growled lowly, his hands curled into fists. Rai yelled at the girl, his voice booming across the room. "Who the hell do you think you are, attacking me for no reason!? I am Rai of Blood, leader of the Blood Ghosts. No one gets the beter of me!" Rai stared at the girl with fury. He was going to make that girl pay. (I have no idea how to use my power without controlling another character, and i think thats against the rules.)

Brynn Syvra almost blinked in surprise, but she kept her gaze steady. She could tell without looking her body must be changing before everyone else's eyes. What surprised her most was when one of the boys found her and started to yell at her. "Who the hell do you think you are, attacking me for no reason!? I am Rai of Blood, leader of the Blood Ghosts. No one gets the better of me!" She could almost feel the hostility roiling off him in waves, but it made her gleeful. She talked right back at him, and even though she barely raised her voice about a whisper, it cut above everything else like a scythe. "And I am Brynn Syvra Socratelli, former drug lord, and I don't care what gang your king of. You're a nobody. You mean nothing here, and I want you to suffer at the moment. You displease me with your assumed and nonexistent power. You have no right to respect here. You're just as mangled as all of us." She smiled, a kind of smirking, half crazy grin. She withdrew the pain from Hal and Thorn. She actually kinda liked them. She whispered an apology through her teeth to them--"Sorry lovelies. It was a slight misunderstanding I'm sure. Many apologies. Please forgive."--And then focused even more on the last 3. Bind, tear, rip, shred, poison, dismemberment... Her laugh came out, high, gleeful, like bells, but the fanatic look on her face contrasted oddly with it. For a brief moment, she wondered if Dawn was proud of her. She was having so much fun, she wondered if she would ever stop.

Before Thorn could see if it worked, she suddenly fell completely to the ground as pain returned, but in a full horrible force that wasn't coming from herself. She held her head in her hands and screamed into the concrete floor; it was all around her, surrounding her. It was as if she were tied to a wall and being stabbed repeatedly all over, while her head was being crushed by thrown rocks, her legs being beaten as this torture from hell continued.......
But she forced herself back up at least onto her knees as she tried to think, shaking uncontrollably, tears running down her face, her body now dripping a bit with sweat from this sudden surge of pain. She suddenly remembered the quiet girl next to Dawn, asking the young girl what her power was. As she looked for this girl and met her gaze, the answer was as clear as day.
But the one that was making the biggest mistake, was not Little Shakespere nor this girl of pain, nor Bendy nor Hal, but instead some hotshot kid. She KNEW he looked familiar, but it only hit her when she remembered the name of his gang; Blood Ghosts.
Thorn chuckled evilly beneath her pain, which helped to lessen it. The biggest mistake was to say which gang you were from; after all, they had had problems with Red Skies in the past, and since Thorn knew not one of the people around her, giving too much information was a bad move, especially in a room with people full of powers. Which is why she wasn't going off all about her status; only those who treated the name like it was everything was actually ruining the name. He was the biggest loser in this room, and it looked like Brynn was thinking the same thing.
She suddenly felt the pain end as Brynn Syvra began to speak, and the former co-leader sighed in relief and lay on the floor for a moment, angry at her sudden show of pain and weakness. Seeing Hal drop as well, Thorn realized that they were the only two released from this mayhem; the other three were still writhing in pain: The Bendy girl, Hotshot, and Shakespere. While feeling kinda bad for Shakespere, she felt the other two deserving of this. After all, they were the ones picking fights. She saw the girl in charge of pain whisper an apology to the two girls: "Sorry lovelies. It was a slight misunderstanding I'm sure. Many apologies. Please forgive."
Thorn decided not to dwell on it; everything was hell right now anyways, and it was hard to concentrate on one thing at a time. Crowding all the kids into one room was asking for chaos anyways, which is probably what Doc wanted. ARGH! She'd kill him! Another reason for him to die!
Wiping her tears away and getting up finally, she went over to Hal and held out a hand, offering to help her up. She didn't know of Shakespere's condition, and boys were all tough about their pain anyways. Dang, she needed to find his name; Shakespere was getting old.

Brynn Syvra saw Thorn get up and help Hal up as well. She'd hoped they'd heard her but she kept her focus on the three. Quite nonchalantly, despite her fanatical face and obvious joy in the torture, she directed her voice to them. "Apologies once again, Hal, Thorn." She gave slight nods in their direction. "Is there anyone you feel particularly merciful towards? I'd be happy to release them if you so wished." She kept the evil thoughts going, knowing that that was what keeping the pain going.

Allist--L shook like a leaf, his eyes wide in a cold sweat seeping through his shirt a bit as he curled up into a ball, he felt pain like he was being tortured from afar. He didn't scream, awkwardly enough...he simply lay in a fetal position, shaking with broken breath and cringing with spontaneous convulsions. His head pulsated and his body screamed like never before, but not a single peep emitted from the boy's mouth for some strange reason. The child who couldn't seem to keep his mouth shut moments before simply seemed to melt away into a rag doll with the way he lay across the ground.
He turned his eyes upon the one speaking, the obvious source of his pain and closed his eyes gently, seemingly ready to pass out any moment from the blinding agony which tore through his body. "Paradise...lost...this is another hell...for sure...they're all demons...devilish entities whom only seek my undoing like before...no...no, no, nononononononon...NO! Stop it...I don't like this...it hurts...it...it hurts..." he whispered in the lowest tone imaginable as he simply lay there still, no one aside from anyone within inches of him would hear his words, and he didn't want anyone to hear them...he felt weak enough, but he would never give another person the satisfaction of knowing they'd done him wrong.

Brynn Syvra noticed one of the boys muttering. He was slightly smaller than them. When she heard what he said, she decided to try something out and lessen some of the pain for him, see if she could make a difference between separate distinct people. If she could punish some more than others, it opened up whole new possibilities. She shifted some of her focus more on the others, testing out her theory. She was certain it would work, but if it didn't, she would find a way.

Thorn decided to keep her ultimate cool-self back as Hal got back to her feet, back to her usual form. "Ah, we've all had a long day in this WONDEROUS little hell; everyone's got some pent up anger they wanna release, and the one that they want to release it one, they can't. Crappy situation, really." she shrugged; hey, it was the truth she was pointing out here. If they all had a free-for-all on Doc, there'd be nothing left of him. GAWD, was it fun to imagine! It almost made her giggle evilly again.
Upon Brynn's words, she looked down at three, but her eyes rested upon the one who had done nothing wrong in the first place; the boy merely in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was like a leaf the way he was shaking, and while not a single scream emerged from him, the pain in his eyes said it all. But she knew enough about men to know that they were proud beings; she'd seen one man shot three times and he smiled the whole time til his death. Not a single scream nor tear nor convlusion. Idiots, really. They needed to learn to speak up for themselves.
"Mercy, eh? Normally I'm one to decline such an offer; pain is usually very fun to watch, especially if it's idiots. However, this boy here had done no harm to anyone else; just merely in a bad spot, crowded room filled with super-powered teenagers and all." she pointed out, nodding to the boy who was near his broken computer. She kept the pity out of her eyes, but could still feel it inside her. She hated those that hurt innocent ones for no reason. Stealing was different, and the Red Skies always did that, but actual harm to innocent people; that was just sick. She noticed the pain seemed to lessen and less of the cold sweat just before Thorn had spoke, so perhaps Brynn felt the same way.
"Unless Hal has objections, of course; I was kinda out for a bit, so I'm a bit lost on some details. I dunno the other two real well either, so taht makes me a bit biased, I suppose." she shrugged.

Feeling a bit of pressure release from him, he didn't feel as if he was in as much agony as he was before, at least enough so to escape his fetal pose. Crawling onto his knees and hands, he looked up at the girl with one eye open while the opposite clenched shut as he raked his finger nails across the floor and twitched. His gray eyes clouding over as he kept himself conscious barely and looked up at the girl as something in his mind clicked You like causing pain on others, don't you...? You're enjoying this...you sick...little chicken feather... he thought through his pain as he looked at her distinctly and could suddenly see something awkward.
While the girl maintained her grip on him and the other two, before the girl stood...him? A second L standing in front of the female who held power over them with his fingers tightly coiled around the girl's throat with a sickeningly pissed expression notable across his face. His face contorted he watched little crimson figures flash in and out of existance, stabbing the girl relentlessly, reciprocating the agony she sent them through and then some. "You...like...inflicting harm...then how about...some of your own medicine?!" he exclaimed in a strained tone as his arm slipped from under him and he fell on his stomach, his eyes still locked on the girl as he watched little demonic hands grasp and twist at her body. He wanted her to suffer...to feel the pain he was feeling as the other him held her against the wall, cutting off her air supply slowly and then allowing her to breathe for a moment only to apply pressure once more.
Feel it...? That's what it feels like...to be made a victim of...I won't be made a puppet of again!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!
((I just wanted to note that my bio was cut off in the second page. My character's power is actually the same power Brynn is using against him so I thought it'd be a fun time to retaliate spontaneously.))

"Th-thanks..." Hal said shakily as Thorn helped her up. She looked around and realized Brynn was the one giving everyone pain. This is screwed up... I don't like what Felicia did, but Brynn shouldn't be torturing people for our sakes.. unless it's the guards. But even then- Suddenly Brynn choked and Hal saw L staring at Brynn with undisguised hatred. She stared aghast at the sight of the two teens battling each other with ever-increasing pain. "Stop it! Please stop it!" she screamed, throwing herself between them. She didn't know if it was the best move, but through the pain that had started the moment she came into their line of sight, she made her way to Brynn and hugged her.

Apparently, before anyone time to hear Thorn, Hal noticed the sudden fear on her face as she looked at Shakespere. Thorn turned in confusion, and was shocked to see that now he bore hatred for the girl Brynn, staring at her as if in concentration, as if he..........
No way, do they both have powers that inflict mental pain?! Oh joy. she thought to herself, shocked. Oh well, that's what one gets when messing with a crazy person in the first place. Sure enough, Brynn was in pain now too, and it was getting chaotic very fast. Not good.
Hal made the first move............which was to go between them, which basically screamed "POKEMON FIRST MOVIE" to Thorn, but not with teh same epic blasts and such. Noble and stupid, yet hopefully it'll work. As Brynn was now hugged by Hal, Thorn nodded in understanding decided to take out the other side, wrapping her arms around the poet boy and blocking his vision. If it hit her, the powers of his, then she'd fight back. He was sort of warm, yet she knew the cold shiver was from the pain.
"It's alright; you don't have to fight each other..." she said, attempting a soothing voice, though it probably didn't sound very smooth nor motherly at all. This was kinda-ok, VERY- awkward; Thorn wasn't usually a touchy feely type, so her hold was inexerienced.
