Celebor's sharp elven eyes were more able to make out details in the darkness, and he reached forward and took Kara's arm, linking it with his own.
"Don't worry, Grandma," he smiled warmly at her, "I'll guide you through. It really is impossible to get lost in here."

"Ah..." Kara smiled patting Celebor's arm.
She let him lead the way otherwise she would be forced to make a light for herself. Not that, that was difficult, she just hoped that Lin would be okay up ahead.
"Do you see well in the dark?"

"Don't worry, just keep going down the hallway," Lin called out.
There was a slight thump a few moments later, and it was quite possible it seemed that Lin tripped over the first step. After all her eye sight was the same as Kara's and the only reason why she knew was because she was in here often enough. She just wasn't slowing down enough to not run into the steps.

Celebor chuckled softly. "Well, I can't see as well as Kaito or Shiro," he admitted, "but I'm told I can see a bit better in the dark than most other races."
He turned Kara before she ran into the wall and guided her carefully up the stairs.

Kara used a hand to lift up her skirts a bit as she went up the stairs. She smiled at that, a bit better was better than not being able to see. She needed time to adjust really.
"I see," Kara murmured, "Since you seem to know where you're going, I would have to agree."

Lin waited at the top of the stairs for her mother and Celebor. She would have to count the doors in order to get the right one. Fortunately that wasn't so hard.

"Don't stop, Lin," Celebor called out softly, "or we're going to run over you."
She was still quite small, after all.
Then to Kara, he murmured, "It's not that I know where I'm going, it's just that I can see where the walls are."

"Okay!"
Lin turned and began to count doors as she went along. She knew there was light in the rooms so if Aragost was in. Perhaps his room would give htem better light, after al lshe didn't want to get stepped on. Once she was standing in front of his door she knocked twice.

Even as Lin's fist struck the door the second time, the door opened silently, and Aragost's imposing silhouette appeared in the doorway. His room was fairly well lit with candles, and it was ... slightly different about his room. It was very sparsely decorated ... there was a bed with a single blanket, one pillow, one small table and one chair, and that was ... it.
"Good evening," the dark man murmured, stepping to the side so that he wasn't blocking the door. "Come in."

Celebor brought Kara up to the doorway before he let go of her arm and smiled at her reassuringly. He didn't know Aragost at all, but he knew that the man had to be all right, if Miyu loved him so much, and Sir Valdemar spoke so warmly of him.

Lin couldn't help but peek around the moment she stepped in. The first thought that came to mind was that he needed something in his room. Maybe she should ask Miyu, Miyu might know what would be good.
"Hello," Lin waved a bit, "Mommy and Celebor should be here too. I don't think you've met Celebor yet."
And yet Aragost probably knew everything about Celebor, or nearly so Lin thought so.

Kara smiled before following Lin to make sure she wasn't going to start shooting off questions. Though she had to admit this meeting was far easier than the first meeting.

Celebor stepped in after Kara and Lin and stepped to the side so that he could look around a bit. He noted that the room was rather ... impersonal ... almost as if no one lived there, or at least not often.
He nodded his head politely at the man. "Aragost," he murmured. "I am Celebor Aldrich Winters."

Aragost nodded at his three guests, then closed the door behind them and moved to stand further in his room.
"Please," he murmured, making a slow sweeping motion with one hand towards the chair and bed. "Take a seat. Make yourselves comfortable."
His cowl turned in Celebor's direction, and once again his low voice resonated from deep within the shadows of his hood.
"You have ... a question for me ... from Valdemar."
It wasn't a question, but a statement.

Just like Aragost Lin thought to herself listening to him. Though Lin wasn't sure it was a question from Sir Valdemar, though then again it might be since the topic was brought up.
Turning she padded over to the chair and patted it so her Mommy would sit.
