She then looked over to Clouse and rose a brow.

Clouse looked at not expecting the question, "Well... I don't know really. I've never been one to stay in one place long, to many bad memories, ya know? Why ya ask? Need a traveling cohort to somewhere?" He asked it rather simply, not really meaning it, more of a joke than anything.

Leon sent Nyrra back to town and then walked into the forest.
"Nothing to do except train until Jubei contacts me I guess." He said to himself as he drew Kaze and started into a routine of moves, nocking down several trees. "This is so boring!" He yelled then sat down and let out a sigh, "damn why'd Jubei go? This woud be a lot more fun if I had a sparring partner, maybe that one guy'll show up agin, he was strong."

"SOLDIERS BEGIN BARRAGE!!! FRONT LINE - INITIATE CHARGE! REAR.. ROUND 1... MAGI BURST!!" The captain announced in a very loud roar unsheathing his gun-blade pointing towards Kalm.

Just as Chris was about to speak... there was an explosion from the roof. A large magic shell had crashed through and detonated. All was not well however. Though Clouse and Shin were unharmed... the same could not be said for Chris.
The brunt of the shraprenel had ended up hitting Chris. Most of it was big and bulky so only bruised him. However he was slammed violently against the wall landing graceless-ly on the ground. The attack had earned him quite a few cuts and bruises. And a fair amount of blood from his impact against the wall.
(By the way I started playing Ragnarok Online on a free-server. The whole staff is friendly.. and I am on the custom quest creation team ~ so if anyones interested let me know.)

Shin's eyes grew. HOLY HADES!!! She squatted a bit in surprise her fists clenching. Flipping back a bit she avoided bits of larger rubble and looked over to check if Chris was okay. Her heart dropped.
"Chris!"
She dashed for him kneeling at his side and laying her hand lightly on his shoulder.
"...Oh my gods.. what the hell is happening?"
She said more to herself as her eyes raced along the scene.

Amidst all the commotion, dust, noise, and suddenly being thrown back Clouse took no longer than a third of a second to be snapped out of his buzz and to come into a full recognition of what had just happened. His jerked around, taking in everything he could, his dear ones had escaped the rubble and blast well enough with the exception of the old lady, she layed on the ground, a pool of her own blood under her, and a large piece of ruble on top of her right leg, effectively crushing the bone, along side a plank that had impaled her were her liver should have been, the color in her skin and the light in her eyes was already gone, a look of shock and dread on her face, she had seen the plank coming, and couldn't move in time. At the time Clouse wasn't regeristing that thought, he would undoubtedly mourn later, but he would chose his times of mourning, the living were his concern as of now, "Shin, hows Chris!?" He didn't bother to look himself, he had others to take care of, "Gramps! Get everyone out of here, I'll help stragglers!" The rather old black man moved with surprising speed, Haste magic maybe, Clouse didn't bother to ask and in all truth didn't care. He scanned what was left of the place while he waited on Shin's reply.

Chris shook his head lightly. "Mnnhh..." He was dazed.. and bruised to all hell.. and a bit cut up now. But still alive and well enough. "I'm alright..." He said gritting his teeth a little bit as he stood up. Everything was a bit blurry now and he was seeing two.
That only lasted a few moments before the sounds of bombshells going off all around the town was heard. Along with screams outside which snapped him back to reality.
Because Chris saw that everyone else was already being helped by Clouse and Shin.. he didn't stop to ask anyone to come with him. He was already out of the door, both swords drawn. Not again!! Im not going to lose my home.. not a second time... He thought to himself running as fast as he could.

Shin nodded seeing Chris stand. Her eyes wide as she glanced around her to all the frantic people in the restaurant. Suddenly, she looked back over to Chris and he was gone. She gasped to herself as panic set in.
"Clouse! Where's Chris!? He was just..."
She looked out the window and saw him running by, her eyes grew determined and she looked back over to Clouse hard and serious.
"...You still good with your guns?"

As the last of the living ran out of the dinner Clouse turned to Mai and said, "I kept in practice, have you?" He pulled out his gun as he said it, the mere sight of it would fill a normal man with fear, the barrel of a 45. had that effect. "Let go." A split second later he ran forward and out of the dinner, the time he spent with the resistance had kept him in very good practice, maybe to good. If questioned he'd explain latter.

"PHASE TWO. HEAVY CALVARY.. BEGIN FORWARD MARCH.. RUN OVER IT ALL!" The captain of the squad shouted. There was a full line of mech-armored soldiers moving forward towards the town.

Chris all the while had already started fighting. This wasn't the first time he was forced to kill. But he hated having to. But between his own personal guilt versus losing a home again.. he would take killing others to protect his own.
The first soldier to run into him.. was very unlucky to say the least. Because before the gun even could be raised... two swords with a very strong hand were brought down onto both shoulders... breaking them instantly. And a follow up of one blade piercing the soldiers gut.. and the other one stabbing the hand holding the gun.

the girl goes to fill his order and musa sits back and relaxes thinking to himself (so ive come this far already, I hope I find somthin about those men at this tournament) he props his chair up on two legs to get more comfertable then looks around the room he sees a large muscular man pick up a baby and kiss it on the head "what a nice town this is" he remarks to himself
