Kara got her uniform together. It was deep purple in colour and made of cotton, she had originally wanted to get leather but then thought otherwise since leather wasn't all that flexible in combat. The one peice body suit fit her like a glove, the neck-line dipped into a v-shape which stopped not to far up yet not to far down, showing just the proper amount off. Next she pulled on a pair of knee high boots in the same colour, but they were leather yet flat instead of heeled. Kara found with her last pair of boots that had heels she tended to slip with them and loose balance to easily.
The sound of a car coming into the drive-way made her quicken her pace. She finished lacing her boots and went downstairs swiftly and silently. I hope those Xavier girls are gone....god help us if they aren't and miss i-always-have-a-stinkin-attitude finds them here. She thought looking around the living room, ready for whatever Mystique had in store for the Brotherhood.

Rogue had just gotten inside the house behind the strange girl who knew her name, when Morgan's voice echoed down the hall.
'So this is where he's gone off to,' she thought, and wondered why he'd seen the need to join with Mystique and her lot.
She didn't have much time to think about it because it seemed that they had to leave, and leave now. Apparently that's what Morgan had been telling them as she entered. Becca, Sara, and Victoria were on their way to pick up their coats and such. Rogue waved them down the hall and then turned and opened the door, so they could all dash out as soon as they had their snow gear back on.
As she held the door open wide, Rogue watched as her former escort make her way upstairs in a bit of a hurry.
*******
Laura entered the house with Rogue following a ways behind her. She had just stepped into the hall when the phone stopped ringing. She walked into the kitchen where everyone had gathered, knowing Rogue would follow her there.
However, before Rogue could reach the door, Morgan let it be known that Mystique was on her way, and wanted them ready to move in five. Laura turned and was about to go tell Rogue she had to leave, when the new X-girl she didn't know began protesting. Before Laura could tell her why they needed to leave, Morgan was doing so, and they were on their way out.
Laura left the kitchen, walked quickly up the stairs, and darted to her room. She stripped off the jeans and donned the gear she'd been wearing when she'd first arrived. Namely, her pants, jacket, boots, and gloves. It was only chance that she'd decided to wear the green shirt that went along with her gear today. She debated whether or not to take her mask, but decided against it, and hurried down stairs to the entrance hall.

Poking her head into the room Becka and Sarah had adopted as their own, Victoria opened her mouth to explain the situation, for the newest girl's sake, mostly, only for Morgan to beat her to the punch. She nodded, straightening up at the same time and pointed in Morgan's vague direction before speaking, finally. "Exactly," she started. "What he said...so let's roll."
Sarah had already moved into action, which was good, and Rouge was already at the door. Victoria had not been in the house long enough that she still had her coat and gloves on, so it only a matter of her taking a few steps outside, and peeling off again. "Becca..." she hinted, glancing at the clock on the wall, noting they had less than four minutes left to be completely outside the property, and the new recruit seemed to be a bit...frozen. "I'll explain later, now, we've just got to go," she added, physically, helping the girl up and escorting her hurriedly toward the front door.

Becca watched those gathered snap into action, finding it rather odd. Who would be coming to warrant such a reaction? She looked to Victoria and shrugged, doing the buttons up her coat as she closed the distance between them.
"I'm coming," she said, flinching away from Victoria's touch as a thread of electricity snapped between them, making contact with nothing.
"Careful," she added, making her way to the front door then jogging to the snow mobile she'd been using.
"Um, I know we need to go but whoever's coming will see the tracks," she said with a gesture to the various foot prints and snow mobile tracks.

"Eh..." Sara said as she swung up on the snowmobile. "I don't think there will be two many explanations asked fer." With her helm in place she reved her snowmobile up. "Come on let's gitta movin here." She said with a grin. "Where ya'll want to go next?" She asked as they pulled out and began cruising away from the Brotherhoods mansion. She caught a breif glimps of a car but didn't pay it any attention. "Or are we headin back for now?" She asked her co-patriots in crime.

Rogue hopped on her snowmobile and pulled on her helmet. She looked over at Sara as they pulled out and shrugged.
"I don't really care. We could always go to the mall, but part of me thinks we might should go let the Professor and the others know that the Brotherhood are up to somethin'," Rogue said, her Southern-ness creeping into her grammar more than usual.
She didn't really care if they did or not, it had just occurred to her that this might be the sort of thing the Prof might want to know. Too bad Jean wasn't with them, she'd be able to tell him as they went to the mall or wherever.

Blade looked over at Shandra. "So . . . what now?" She asked the teen. Blade wasn't the well acquainted with the area to really decide what to do. And she had a feeling that it might take awhile with the professor and Owen. So there wasn't much she could do.

((sorry, getting a very bad case of writer's block at the moment.)) "Well...hmm...I guess we could always start dinner for everyone...it is dinner time isn't it? If not then it could just be some kind of hot meal, all I know is that I'd like to eat soon," Shandra mused and then stopped. "Sorry, I'm just thinking aloud. I guess we could always go somewhere else if you'd like..."

Victoria had sped off with the rest of her group and before they knew it, the Brotherhood was out of view and they still had time to spare. Very little time, yes, but they were alive and in the clear for the moment, which always was a good thing. Becca had made a point about their tracks though, but there was not much any of them could do. Victoria could only hope the blue-lady would be too preoccupied with whatever was going on to notice that four, opposing females had just left the premises.
"Going straight home is our best bet!" Called Victoria, secondeding whoevers idea that was and by now, the X-Mansion was just outside their field of vision. She did not go into detail about why that was the best bet, but that simply it was. The way she looked at it, Mystique was planning something big for the Brotherhood, something big danger ous and before long, the X-Men would have to suit up to bring back the order, but once again, no need to scare Becca with these details so soon...

"Okay," Becca had called in response to Victoria's comment. It was too casual to sound odd. In fact, her first thought was the professor may be angry if they were out too long. A curfew at a school sounded very reasonable to the young woman.

Blade shrugged as she crossed her arms. "I really don't mind helping cooking. I'm not the greatest cook but hey, I think I should be able to help!" She nodded her head in agreement with her own statement. It one thing could be said about Blade it was that she was in a league of her own sometimes.

Shandra smiled lightly. "Don't worry, I can't cook much either. Well at least not how other people like to have their food cooked because I can't taste it. The whole body rejects things and what not."
She started off to the kitchen and started to grab out items for salads, potatoes, and things for some home made honey-bread. After that she pulled out a lot of meat and some herbs. It took a while because she had pulled out everything with the mindset of there was a lot of students in the school.
"Do you think you could help me start on the meat?" Shandra asked politely, "That way I can get to work on the bread."

Blade blinked owlishly for a moment before nodding. "Sure. But . . . what do you want me to do with them?" The runaway asked, nervous. After all, she couldn't remember the last time she cooked. That was how long she had been on the road.

"Basically I just want you to cook them and season them. Umm...just stick it in the oven using the pans," Shandra said as she pointed to the pans she was talking about before handing her some seasonings "and rub these into the meat on both sides...I think the temperature would be about 350 so we can slow cook..."
Shandra started to cut up the potatoes because she had a special, at least to her, thing in mind to them. This way the other students would have at least one thing closer to a normal meal. She was going to fry half of them up and then make homemade style mashed potatoes with the other half. So she put the half she was reserving for the fried potatoes up while she put the other batch in a pot of water and started to boil it. Luckily she still had some natural styled milk in the fridge so she could make the mashed potatoes.

Kara rocked back and forth on her feet as she waited. Usually patient she wondered what was taking their 'leader' so long to get there and explain to them why they needed to be up and ready. "Hopefully it's a good mission and not some lame a** one." She muttered under her breath.
