I looked at the accuracy percentage thing in the main thread... I came to a conclusion on how it could be calculated. For simplicity, I'll use a 50 DP weapon as an example, with a 10% increase/decrease to accuracy (normal accuracy assumed 50%).
50 * .1 = 5
For accuracy gain, subtract the number from the max DP
50 - 5 = 45 * 2 = 90
For loss, add
50 + 5 = 55 * 2 = 110
For accuracy loss, you have more numbers you can miss on. For gain, you have less you can miss on. You still deal damage equal to or less than your weapon DP. The formula should work to +-50% accuracy.
At least, that's my theory to how it works. Am I right?
Ok, figured it out. The formula works up to +-50% After that, it generates numbers useless to us.

"No... there is 10% less of a chance that I get hit than other gundams"
I was working a way to calculate that accurately... er... does my idea make sense?

x = Weapon Damage Points y = Percent chance hit/miss z = roll modifier
x * y = z
For increased hit chance: (x - z)*2 = What you roll
For decreased hit chance: (x + z)*2 = What you roll
You still hit with your weapons DP and below.
That make more sense

GO SAKI GO!!!! Overcome that homework of yours! twisted They are your enemies! Rehosukaga, I don't quite get your question, but I'll try to answer it. sweatdrop I'm sorry if I won't hit the mark. Every beam cannon, in a long range battle, could fire up to three times in a single post, but that would allow the enemy to close in for a saber attack.
