Draeken Aakarshan

Draeken closed his eyes for a moment as if in thought. Really, what he was doing was reassessing his recently acquired abilities. Browsing through them as if through a library of files, selecting which would best be suited. Shrugging after a few moments, his eyes reopened and he looked once more upon Krono. His eyes, having originally been a blue that made ice seem warm, flickered to an emerald green then back again. Draeken seemed unaware of whatever it was causing the brief change, but that could have just been show. "Do not fear that I will back down. I may as well already have been in this whole affair from the beginning. I'm pretty sure the forces of Heaven wouldn't have left me to my own devices for very long anyway." Shrugging again he sighed and leaned back against nothing, looking completely at ease relaxing upon a cushion of air. "So what's the game plan? Anything detailed or just are we to just...as some might say...wing it?"

At this, Zero lost his enthusiasm. He had forgotten what Krono told him of his plan thus far, and he didn't like it. However, it had to be done.

Krono nodded and closed his eyes, thinking things over before talking. He did indeed have a clear set course of action in his mind. The appearance of the force nearby kind of screwed around with that, but it essentially remained the same. What he was currently contemplating, was how much he should divulge to his comrades. He figured revealing the basic structure and not dealing with specific things he had in store was the best course of action. He didn't think Zero would betray him, but he had no idea of knowing if the other man would attempt to kill him and use what he had to aquire the power he was going to unleash.

"Though Zero has said it is recon work....it isn't really as there will be skirmished no doubt. The basics of what I want to do are as follows. The first thing we need to do, is take care of that group that is nearby. Aquire any extra power and abilities we can. The second thing I'd like to do is establish a base camp where we can lay out how exactly we are going to commence the attack on heaven. To do this we are going to have to do some scouting work and lay fairly low on the radar. Finally we attack and do as much damage and kill as many of the higher ups as we can. I can see that going two ways. Either we fight until death, or we perform a series of guerilla attacks over time. Not really my style, but if you have a fear of dieing the second option is more appealing."

Krono opened his eyes and looked to Zero first before looking at the other man. He would watch their reactions and see if this had appeased them or not.

He was actually looking forward to the conflict with the small search party. He had once been an archangel, and absorbed several others in their dieing moments. Reflecting on this, he knew that there was always room for more power. His knowledge in angelic artes had grown exponentially from the days when he was nothing more than an archangel himself. Whether he lived or not, he would leave his impact.

Nodding in silence, Draeken shrugged his ascent to the plan. It sounded reasonable. Of course ridding themselves of the nearby expeditionary force would be required before taking further action. The guerrilla tactics appealed, yet, at the same time made him grimace a little. More damage could be done over a longer period of time if done properly, but at the same time could provide their enemies with more time to prepare counters to their methods. The all out attack could be just as damaging, though only in the lower reaches of Heavens forces, seeing as those would be the primary force sent against them at the beginning. So many twists and turns there were when planning battles of such scale, and never one way better than the other. Any and every plan has it's downfalls as well as its selling points.

Draeken held his palm at about waist level, upraised to the sky. A small, bright orange flame erupted into existence. He let it flicker for a moment before he began to toy with it, bouncing it from finger to finger idly, conveying thought to the two men he spoke with. "So what exactly do you plan on doing about this nearby force?"

Krono smirked as he watched the stranger first conjure up the small ball of fire, and then start playing with it using his fingers. It reminded him of rogue playing with a piece of silver or gold on his knuckles and thought if there was much difference between the man and the rogue. Only time would tell.

Krono crossed his arms and gazed up towards the sky.
"Well I plan on annihilating them and aquiring their power. However we must also try and obtain any information at all that could prove to be useful. It can't all be fun and game."

Krono uncrossed his arms and shifted his gaze back to the stranger who was still playing with fire. The man looked like he was going over something in his mind. Though Krono had no idea of telling what it was, he had an idea. The man just had an air about him that made it seem like he had seen his fair share of battle in his undoubtedly coloured history. Of course he had no way of confirming this either.

"Well.....I suppose since we will be fighting alongside each other, I should probably tell you my name. I go by Krono."

Draeken nodded, in agreement with what the man was saying. "Draeken," Is all he said in reply to the man introducting himself. He didn't feel the need to be formal with this man. Not that he was very formal anymore to begin with. He saw no need for formalities anymore. "So keeping this nearby force in mind, what's our first move?"

She keep her distance from the Dojo, but just close enough to see its embrace. Its been a while since she made a appearance, been keeping her "sightings" in the shadows, isolated from any contact. The BC wasnt the same nowadays, no one can be trusted, lies and deceit behind every smile. Shes shared a few of her own, but vowed to change her ways in silence as she waited for Him to come back for good as he promised, even though through time her faith in his return diminishes with each passing day. She sighed slighty as she just shifted her blue gaze from the dojo and up to the sky as she rested against a tree along the edge of the forest.

Acuzio eyes up the Dojo noting how much the place had changed in his time gone. "Here I expected a mile wide crater..." He mutters to himself a slight grin crossing his face. After a moment of reflection he proceeds inside looking around for that damned laughing b*****d Mastema or maybe one of the lovely ladies who seem drawn here.

If Acuzio were to make his way inside of the main dojo building, he would see only a very thin man and catch the scent of cooked meat from the kitchen. It was deer, and there was a lot of it. The thin man had worked his way over to the edge of a chair to sit down. Right now it looked like he was the only one to talk to. Kaiori was there, asleep so she would likely not be conversing this evening with Acuzio. Mastema was also nowhere to be sceen nor heard, back at his home in the Citadel far to the east of the dojo. As for other ladies, they were far and few between.

Maya's head poked out of the floor under a table, scoping out the situation. "Mmmm....meat." She sighed happily and went back under the floor. An arm poked out of the counter a minute later, searching for some food morsels. Her hand closed around a turkey leg and pulled it into the hole created by her arm. The sounds of enjoyment could be heard from a cabinet under the turkey.

Grinning slightly as he felt various familiar presences, Draeken kept his focus on Krono so as not to give away his knowledge of those people being there. Sairys, that strange woman from before, and even Acuzio. That last was a man he had not run across in some time. Odds were he could enlist him into this fight he was willingly diving headlong into. Having more numbers could never hurt, though there was always the possibility of betrayal during or after the coming battles. Were that to be the case he could always just kill those causing insurrection in their ranks as well as turn a profit from whatever abilities of theirs he could make use of.

After seeing none of his associates are here at the time he sighs hanging his head. "Damned place is a graveyard now." He mutters before looking up in time to see the food get dragged under. "Uhh....Probably be smarter to not be near that..." He tells himself before dashing outside and getting off the wooden floors before looking back to make sure it wasn't coming after him.

Krono was thinking long and hard. He was slightly put off by the arrival of several other people. He could sense their energies not far off. Undoubtedly the others could sense them too. One of them was familiar. He coudl've sworn it was the lady with the temple not far off from here. He had spent some time training there before. He shook his head, golden hair swaying from side to side as if to shake off the distraction. He returned to the plan.

"The way I see it, these are our options. We can either do recon, sneak up the camp and see exactly how many we are dealing with. See if we recognize any of them, and come up with a more detailed plan. I'm not really for this because we don't know if they know we are here. Getting that close could potentially give us away if they didn't know and gives away our element of surprise. That is of course if we have one. As for attacking them goes. We can either charge senselessly into them, seperate and come at them from three different sides at different intervals, or I can bring us right into the middle of the camp and we can attack from the inside out."

Krono nodded slowly to himself and glanced over in the direction of the camp. He had a feeling they already knew that he was here. Not exactly where he was, just that he was here. However if they did hold the element of surprise, he didn't want to let that go.

His gaze shifted over to the dojo. He knew the woman who was staying away from everyone, but he had no idea as to what her motives were and whether or not she would join in such a foolish battle. He didn't know the man that was in the dojo, and he didn't know anything at all about him. The thing he wanted to know the most was if they could be trusted.

Zero simply shook his head as more and more energy signatures popped up. He seemed to recognize most of them. He personally was not all that interested, however, as he had never battled or teamed up with any of them in the past, so he decided to ignore them all and let Krono or Draeken decide whether or not to confront them. If he sensed them, odds are they did as well.

He huffed at Krono's plans as he finished relaying them. If only they knew if their presence was known or not. It would make things so much easier.

"Well, you tell me what you think is most feasable, and I'll go along with it. I'm a fan of attacking from the inside out. However, we don't get much in the way of information that way."

Zero wasn't one for following orders, but in these circumstances, he'd make an exception.

"I too like the idea of attacking from the inside out, but information, Zero, could still be attained. We would just have to leave someone alive to tell us." He grinned at the thought of leaving a single person alive, even if for only a short time. It was an amusing thought.
