Zero grinned, bearing his fangs. This woman would be a fool to join them in their endeavor. However, it could be fun. He figured if nothing else, she could be used as a diversion.
"Please do try and keep your voice down. This... enemy... is quite possibly the most dangerous you will ever know. We are going up against the forces of heaven themselves."
Meanwhile, Zero sensed a familiar presense. However, he seemed very much different. He stopped for a moment and thought to himself.
"....Draeken."

Krono smirked as he listened to the woman speak. She was quick to help them fight an unknown enemy. Under normal circumstances he would be suspicious of such an act, but didn't think much of it in the current situation. She wouldn't be holding her current opinion for all that long. Since she had appeared before himself and Zero, Krono had been able to analyze her energy signature more closely. She was an angel, or rather a fallen angel.
Meeting yet another angel that was cast out from home made him think back to his days as an elite archangel serving heaven. Of course now he had evolved to something far beyond such simplicity. He had grown stronger then he could've ever dreamed back then. Thousands of years had passed, and he had changed. There was still so much power to attain....and it is indeed within his grasp.
"It is just as my friend says. Our enemies are the forces of heaven. We plan on doing more than fighting them too. We are going to take the fight to heaven itself. I don't expect you to be as adamant about fighting as you were a few moments ago....given what you are of course."
Krono couldn't help but laugh a little at that. Most angels that were cast from heaven didn't think twice about fighting them or seeking vengence. They usually submitted to the fate that was laid before them. They were fools. There is power that can combat it, it just wasn't easy to obtain. He smiled at that.
"We don't really have much of a plan set. Try and get as far as we can and do as much damage as is possible. Move fast and strike hard." This was a complete lie. He had a very deffinite plan in mind. Zero wasn't even aware of what he had in store....though he would let him know when the time was right. Some secrets are simply better off left in the dark.
It was at this point in time Krono heard something from Zero. He couldn't quite make out what it was, but he did notice that his attention was no longer on the girl, but the dojo in the distance. Perhaps he had sensed a friend or past ally. He wa spicking up an odd energy signature from that direction....but he couldn't quite place it. It didn't really matter much. Another for the fight would make things a little more interesting, but didn't really change much in his plans.

Maya recoiled when she heard their fight. "H-heaven?!" She shook her head rapidly. "No...I cannot assist you in your endeavour. If I wish to pass between the golden gates, I cannot do as you say. I do not know if my chances are also forfiet if I do not stop you, but I will not stand between you and the Maker. You will learn soon enough." She looked at the two sadly, as if she would never see them again, gave them a strange salute, and floated up and back through the wall from whence she came.

Zero had to hold back a laugh. It was as if she didn't realise that he and Krono were fallen angels as well. He half expected a reaction like this, however. After all, who in their right mind would join them in this endeavor?
"Heh...I suppose she didn't realise that we would be passing the gates. Just not in the traditional sense."
He gave a sarcastic grin as the strange woman disappeared, but his attention was once again drawn to the presense of Draeken. If they were indeed going to go through with this plan, he would be a great ally to have.

Shaking his head, Draeken stood with a sigh. An uneventful end to a possible bit of entertainment. Also, his chance to possibly profit from whatever sort of abilities the person had was, for the time being, lost. It did not matter, however. He was sure he would run across the person in the near future.
Draeken stretched for a moment as he stood before turning and moving towards the door. His gait was slow, but still fairly brisk because of his height and long legs. It only took a few seconds before he was out the door and looking into the night, his keen eyesight easily picking out the two men that stood not all that far from the Dojo. He recognized one, though the memory was a bit fuzzy. A lot of things in his past were fuzzy anymore. The lines between friend and foe blurred, and his trust in those he once knew almost gone. Not that he feared being cheated or taken advantage of. He just didn't trust as he once had.

Krono watched the girls movement and reaction with a little amusement. He had expected her to back down, but not with such cowardice that was just displayed. She did say what he had predicted though. Good luck in destroying a force that can not be ended. He smirked a little at that. He would put that belief to the test.
He turned his attention back to Zero. "All in good time friend. To be honest I was suspecting such a remark and for her to back down....but not quite that dramatically." He let out a little chuckle and cocked his head towards the front of the dojo. The energy he had sensed moments ago was now in front of the dojo itself.
"Do you know who that is? Is it something we should be worried about?" Krono had come to understand that there were some shifty characters in the Black Company, and he wanted to avoid dealing with them as much as possible. There was enough to worry about without the possibility of an ally backstabbing them.

Zero meant to grin, but what he ended up giving was quite an uneasy look. Sure, Draeken would be a powerful ally, but he wasn't always known to be on Zero's side. And he'd make a terrible enemy if he decided against joining them.
"Heh...There's only one way to find out for sure."
Mid-way through his sentence, Zero extended his long seven foot black feathered wings and enveloped himself in them. With only two spins, he would disappear and re-appear next to Draeken.
"Didn't expect to see you here. Separated yourself from Truinthil I trust?"

Not even turning his head he answered quietly. "That was some time ago." He shrugged and looked to the sky. "Some time ago indeed. I recently paid him a visit. He's been laying low for some time now after what I did. He wasn't expecting it to say the least." A slow grin spread across his lips then. A grin with a rather sinister twist. "It's just too bad, however, that the fallen angel that was just here had to leave in such a hurry. I was tempted to see what use I could make of her, though she likely wouldn't have let me do so willingly. I would have had to hurt her, though that wouldn't be entirely problematic, now would it?"

Krono watched with some amusement as Zero made his way over to the man in an interesting fashion. It was a little extravagent under the circumstances...but that was just pure Zero.
He began makeing his way over to the two slowly, listening and watching the man he had never met. There was nothing to say that he would be a threat to them immediately. He seemed to be one who did things for personal gain and nothing more, thoush his analysis could very well be wrong.
He came within a few feet of the two and came to a stop.

Zero gave a cocky grin and shrugged. He would have been satisfied with simply killing her. He had no idea what Draeken had wanted to do with her, but it had to be interesting.
"Heh. Well if you're going after fallen angels, I only ask that you keep your hands off me. We'll be fine other than that. Then again, you wouldn't harm your old pet, now would you?"
Zero laughed, recalling running around the mansion as a white wolf pup. Definitely wasn't one of his proudest moments, but at least he wasn't wandering the earth as a spirit.
"Say, you wouldn't happen to be busy, would you? Not interested in maybe getting a drink, attacking old Mastema, or maybe something a little bit bigger....little more worth your while?"
Zero decided he'd bait Draeken, and let Krono decide whether to tell him the rest or not.

Draeken listened to Zero speak while still looking up to the sky. His goal wasn't exactly fallen angels. And the idea of taking powers from Zero didn't occur to him at all until it was mentioned. He quickly discard that idea, however in favor of others whom he had no feelings of friendship towards. If he even had friends anymore. The quick mention of a pet made some memories flutter through his mind, but those too were quickly dismissed. Alcohol, nor Mastema even interested him at the moment. What made his grin twist into an even more sinister smirk was the mention of something more worth his while. He toyed with the idea of feigning ignorance, but decided to surprise Zero instead.
Still looking up to the sky Draeken lowered his eyes to look at Zero. Zero would only see one eye, looking at him with a wild light shining within it. "Heaven? I know of some things that go on in this world still. A feast more appealing have I never heard tell of. I could make some decent...additions in such a war." His head lowered and his eyes turned towards the other man at this point, the wild light still shining within them. "Besides. What has heaven provided me other than the fate of misery?"

Krono watched the man intently as Zero talked pleasantries with him. Or at least it was pleasantries on Zero's end. This new man was very hard to read....which was both an asset and a hinderance depending on the situation. It was easy to tell that what Zero said had aroused something inside the man, but as to exactly what it was could not be said.
With all the talk of feasting, he could only assume that this man had something in common with himself. He was most likely able to absorb the soul or essence of beings he had destroyed. Krono had been doing that for longer then he cared to remember, many angel souls had been consumed in his quest for vengence.
The man turned his gaze from Zero to himself, and he was finally able to get a good look at his eyes. They were wild and determined. He was a dangerous man, and no doubt he would be a good ally to have. Possibly just as reckless as Zero. He clearly had battle experience much like them. His last comment brought a smirk to his lips.
Krono stepped toward the two slowly, arms folded across his chest. As he stepped from the shadows under the tree and into the open where the two were conversing, he nodded first to Zero and then to the stranger. "You are among people who hold that very same oppinion of heaven. We are planning to launch a full out assault on the forces of heaven, and eventually take the battle to their home, deal as much damage and incite as much chaos as possible."
Krono paused to gather his thoughts and looked up at the sky for a moment, as if reflecting on something. It wasn't for long as he quickly turned his attention back to the stranger. "Being as you already had a general idea as to what we wanted, I think it would be safe to assume that you are aware of a unit of their forces isn't far off from here....and I have a feeling they are about to strike. Now, you don't have to necessarily agree with what we are doing, or even join us for that matter....but youy look like someone who enjoys a good skirmish here and there....and I'm sure there will be moments where a man of your talent will be able to make great....profit from this turmoil."
Whether he joined the battle or not was irrelevant, but having more allies in battle was usually more fun. He cocked his head to the side and stared at the man to see how he would react to such a 'ludicrous' idea as most would say.

"A unit of their forces? Nearby? Hmm..." Licking his lips, Draeken seemed to gain a new level of wildness in the way his eyes shone and the way he stood. To the untrained eye he would seem completely relaxed, but to anyone that knew what to look for, he was like a wolf poised to strike. Looking once again at this man he did not know his grin faded all together and he seemed to sober up. "I only hope you do not propose to fight the forces of Heaven with just us three? I know a little on what awaits us and regardless of how powerful you two are...It will be one hell of a fight. We may not live." The thought of dying though didn't bother him. He had died before, he remembered that much. More than once he was sure, but as with everything else, his memory was clouded. A look of thought entered his eyes. Perhaps that b*****d of a clone that Truinthil had duped Mastema into creating could be of assistance, whether or not he had injured his pride. He could possibly be...persuaded.

Zero found Draeken's reaction quite amusing. It was beyond what he had hoped for when he brought it up. However, he laughed when he asked about the size of their forces.
"Heh. And if it would be just us three, would you back down? Doesn't sound like the Draeken I know. And I'm counting on it being one hell of a fight. Us not living isn't a problem to me. I've already died twice. It's not so bad. Heh... But bringing up the numbers, I'm assuming you have someone in mind?"
Even if Zero was worried, it wouldn't be in his character to show it, so nobody would truly know. Even if Draeken was to refuse joining them, he would still try and get whatever information he had out of him. After all, he said he knew a little about what they would be up against.

A slight smile graced Krono's lips as he watched and listened. It was obvious to him that the stranger was interested. Since Zero had been the one to approach him, this pleased Krono. Zero would not have approached anyone he deemed to be not beneficial to the operation. The smile broadened a little more when he heard the man's follow up question. It was only natural to be concerned. Afterall, three against the armies of heaven didn't seem like good odds. Going against heaven with a regular army sounded nuts.
Krono turned his head towards Zero and nodded slowly. "If you think think three against all isn't good terms then you shouldn't bother. We have no use for those who lack confidence. That being said, I think you aren't like that....I don't know you and can't say for sure....but I think this has done more than pique your interest. It's always good to have another comrade in arms...but if not then we'll continue on by ourselves. He paused for a moment to laugh before continuing. "Death is only a word. I'm certainly not afraid of it."
Zero had spoken of already dieing before. It wasn't something that Krono had expereinced himself, but it wasn't something he feared either. He quite simply didn't care. This was mainly due to the fact that he wasn't worried, not in the slightest.
