-Dessynea- Lord of Armageddon So this guy on Wikipedia keeps changing a bands' genre based only on his opinion, not on viable sources and fan/listener consensus. It's crap like this that makes me start to think Wikipedia IS a BS source for information. Well, it definitely is. For just that reason, people can edit to make it say whatever they want. And it does get reviewed but still.
I do like Wikipedia but it isn't too legit.
I think that Wikipedia definitely has some legitimate information, I just like to double check against other sources, and Not take it too seriously. haha!

lol! So you're FINALLY realizing the truth of Wikipedia eh? I trusted my Teachers on that one...xD
The stupid idiot won't listen to reason. Everyone is telling him in a professional manner that the band is no longer the genre he's listing them as, they changed their sound a long time ago. But he's claiming nobody's actually listening to the music (which I actually do, very much) and that the sources and fans/listeners don't know what the ******** they're talking about. xp

Yeah, it is good to review the references to see what is valid and what isn't. Wikipedia can be a good base to find other sources to cite.

No, art classes have not helped. I can trace things and use a grid to redraw but that's it. The kids at work are always asking me to draw things for them (princesses, mermaids, monster trucks, rocket ships) and my stuff always looks terrible, the kids don't care but the other teachers give me a hard time. You have never been on Iscribble with me, it is bad.

Aww! sad The only advice I can give you is to keep practicing. I've been drawing since I was like 12, and I didn't get ANY sort of 'good' until the end of my Sophomore year in High School, and I'm still not that great even so. But yeah...Just keep doing it, and you'll find yourself getting better I think. Just takes time and patience mostly.
