Jami paused for a moment. "Your fighting style is unique. I know it isn't one of the Echani forms, since those were drilled into me from the time I was little, as they're my blood. Where did you learn them?"

"It's the way I was taught at home, when I joined the Battalion... Everyone from Bakura is taught the basics, but you get the advanced stuff when you join up. I didn't know I was that strong, either, with or without the Force..." Alyssa explained.

"What about facing another person with a saber, though? Isn't that a deathwish?"

Fina had, at first, thought to try Eldin's room, since the whole process of modifying her lightsaber had taken a while. So, after finding his room, she tried getting his attention from the other side of the door a few times, only to find that he wasn't even in the room to begin with. After doing this, she moved to the elevator...

After using the elevator to travel to the first floor, she moved directly back to the entrance of the temple, and found Eldin training. She looked at him curiously, but remained quiet so that she wouldn't disturb his concentration...

"Alyssa, it's entirely your choice. Go with what makes you feel comfortable. I personally carry some form of blade everywhere I go. Though I've never been good at combat, despite being decended from Echani warriors...." Jami trailed off, then shook his head and shrugged. "Do you want to spar with me for a while?"

"Yes, alright." Jami sighed and leaned against a pillar. "So. What would we do if we were ever exiled from the Order?"

Jami brushed his lips lightly, his heart fluttering. He leaned on the balcony railing, sighing softly. He understood Alyssa's desire to live in the present. However, he preferred to think ahead. Jami laughed in his mind. To think, an actual thinking Echani-breed since Yusanis....
