She kept her smiled as the bartender stood there grunted to himself about "foreigners" and gave her a strawberry daquiri. Her eyes glowed a deep coppery sheen for a moment before assessing her situation. Arjana frowned knowing that this was her most hated beverage, got up abruptly, and left without another word.
Out of all the damned places! She huffed out of the bar closing the door behind with little control over her outstretched claws that bit into her palms drawing a thick honey-like substance.
I have to find my kind soon, before anything else "likely" will happen to me.
She crept along the shadows of the hidden portal and used her empowered legs to jump clearly onto the rooftop of the said "bar". She landed without another sound, making sure that there were no passerbys or onlookers with a long attention span. Especially the crazed teenage "wannabes" that had no respect for ancient tradition and were fanatics in anything dark...
Ducking low, Arjana cringed at the thought and used her abilities to leap onto another wall and scale it like an insane gecko.
"I've got my work cut out for me," she said letting out an exhasperated sigh as she cleared the next building where a threshold of unexplored demonic essences were gathered; magnifiying the effect they to a distinguished scent, that the mortals usually overpowered.
"I am coming just wait for me!"

Pulling up to the Demonic Ties bar, William Jackson couldn't help but to bang his head in frustration on the handlebars of his motorcycle. Why? Why was it that whenever things went to hell he ended up in front of a non-human, supernatural bar with hands outstretched and begging for handouts? God, how it galled him and gnawed at his pride. But this concerned his duties not only as a leader, but as a husband and a father as well. And heaven help him, nothing, not even dealing with the Devil himself, would keep him from fulfilling those duties.
Opening a hidden compartment in his bike's panels, he quickly stashed away his more obvious weaponry. Not that he was going in there unarmed, of course. He still had his crucifix with it's hidden stiletto blade, the three vials of holy water blessed by the Pope himself hidden in his coat pockets, a small bag of salt, several spirit wards, various charms, and of course his most dangerous weapon... He had himself.
Approaching slowly and in plain view, he held his arms wide open to indicate that he was, at least for the most part, unarmed and that he came here in peace. Coming up to one of the bouncers and keeping a close eye out for normals, he spoke softly to the supernatural being before him, supressing the part of himself that screamed to slay first and ask questions never. "You know who I am. I come here alone and in peace. I must speak with your Elders. Is Neko here?"

Neko idled behind the bar, her usual spot when things got dull around the Ties. One of the Tainted her mother had hired to "protect" her daughter was being confronted by a human, something the Elderess spotted out of the corner of her eye. And that was no ordinary human.
Walking around the bar, the half cat, half fox approched the two with an amused smile. "Well, well. What have we got here? It's alright." She said, holding up a hand to stay the guard as she motioned with the other for Will to come in. "Come in, I don't bite. Well, no, that's not true. I do bite, but only when people deserve it. Come sit down, have a drink. To what do I owe the pleasure to have you come into my establishment?" She led him to the bar and gestured for him to sit.

The Krii'Vette parked just behind William's bike, and Krii'Ouse saw Nighthunter walk into Demonic Ties, a haven for the Tainted. 'Son of a b***h... You ******** b*****d.' He slid out of his car, popped the trunk, and stashed his daisho on the overhanging hooks. He took Alpha and Omega, shrunk it down, and hid it on his belt.
Closing his trunk, he walked slowly towards the bouncers. He showed them the branding of the Lunites, hoping they'd allow him passage, and not question his intentions or name.

Will smiled in a friendly manner, even as he felt his "supernatural sonar" that had slowly been developing as a part of his unique powers "ping" in response to the presence of a psychic lycanthrope. Resisting the urge to smack his head, Will briefly lifted his mental shields to let his blood brother read his mind before he slammed them back down in case there were any other psychics in the vicinity. *Sethe, trust me. This isn't the craziest thing I've ever done after all, and I'm still here to talk about it. I need to do this. Just keep a low profile, and be ready to bail my stupid a** out of the hotseat if things go south.*
Turning his full attention back to Neko, he graciously accepted the offer of a drink even as he sat down beside her. Besides, even the drink was poisoned or drugged his power core would rapidly burn it away and heal any damage it did to his body. Deciding to dispense with polite chit chat, Will drove straight to the point. "Alright, let's be blunt with one another. I need your help, and it's in your best interest to listen to what I have to say."
Taking in a breath to steady himself, Will locked gazes with Neko, his expression deadly serious and demonstrating the grave nature of his news. "Mauser is back."

((Oh, if only you could hear Lydia laughing right now, Zin.))
Neko waved, to Krii'Ouse and motioned for him to join them before turning her attention back to Will. He obviously had a good reason for being here, and even knowing that, she was still floored by his news. Tapping her chin with a finger, Neko thought to herself for a moment before responding.
"He's back, you say? I'm going to assume you have a good amount of evidence to support that claim, else you wouldn't make it. I know a little something of how much you hate him." Pouring him a drink, she handed the glass to him, her face suddenly looking so much older as a very serious expression came to rest on her face.
"So, let's get this straight. Mauser's back, and you tell me that you need my help. But why come to me? We've talked once before this, and that was nearly two years ago. I'm very easy-going and nice as elders go, but you must have other contacts who are closer to you and can do more for you. Besides, stop being do antsy. Your smell is starting to sting a bit, and there's no need for either you or Krii'Ouse to feel threatened here. This is neutral territory, not a Tainted stronghold."

Krii'Ouse stepped up to the two, cover blown. 'Oh well.' he said quielty, sitting down. He heard the last bit of her sentence about them not needing to feel threatened by being here. 'It's not thatit's a Tainted stronghold, it's that I am suppressing every urge to banish every single one of these Tainted Ones.' he said, honestly.
He resisted the urge to question her about Astaroth, as well. The Lord of Vanity hadn't been in New York for a long time. It was starting to worry the Hunter Lycan.

It had taken her almost 6 hours of searching the different locales before she had found the bar. Bridget(Kim) walked by the bouncers with no trouble even though she sized them up for defending herself if she had to. Conclusion she would be toast... still she didn't have to worry as long as she didn't start anything.
Kim walked up to the bar and then sat on a bar stool and ordered a 'Boiler Maker' with a Southren Comfort chaser. Kim was stunned by all the different types of 'night breed' there were and thier numbers were probably daunting if the truth be told. So Kim just made like she was a 'hole in the water' just sitting and observing. She spent the next three hours and more than several 'Boiler Makers' til she decided it was time for her to go. She thanked the bartender and gave him a tip and walked to the door and out into the cold. She walked to where she could flag down a taxi and headed home.

Moger walked into the bar and made his grand entrance "All right wankers, get off your asses and set up the glasses I'm drinking this place dry!" Moger proclaimed leading Saylis behind him. He sat at a near by round table and ordered his first round.

"Moger, the day you drink this place dry is the day Hell freezes over, no pun intended." Neko called to the other Tainted, laughing. Moger was always an interesting person to have around, what with his sense of humor and his antics. The elder was glad they were friends. Her ears suddenly twitched as she rememebred something Moger had mentioned to her.
"Hey Moger, get over here. I've got something I need to talk to you about." Neko turned and faced Krii'Ouse. "I'm warning you. Play nice or I'll boot you out of here so fast that your fur'll come right off. I don't care if you don't like us Tainted or if you think we're the best thing since sliced bread, but if you try to start a fight with Moger, with any of the Tainted here, I will bring you so close to death that you'd be almost able to taste it. Got it?"

'Neko, my friend,' he began with an impeccably false smile, 'I'm on your turf. I'm no fool. I'm not going to initiate any sort of combat inside your bar. This is nuetral territory.' He continued smiling. 'If this were Hunter's, it'd be an entirely different story. Hell, the streets are an entirely different story.'
Then he sobered his face, and got serious. 'Have you seen the Lord of Vanity around in recent weeks?'

Moger walked over to their table. "Well you better put on an extra coat because the forecast in hell is chilly tonight!" Moger sat down with the group and kicked his legs up on the table, taking a large drink from his whiskey. "Now who here is going to buy me a round?" He asked the others at the table wide eyed and grinning.

Saylis smirked and simply took a seat at the table Moger had taken earlier, she didn't order anything, and after a moment Orial materialized on the table, he jumped up onto her shoulder. "Nani?" She asked him. He simply purred and sat there.

"And that smile tells me that the only thing keeping you to those words isn't your concious or sense of morality. Buck up and cheer up; you might learn a thing or two about us Tainted. We're not all bad, you know." Neko replied, smirking at her hunter friend. "And no, I haven't heard anything about Astaroth in months. If I hear something, you'll be the first to know."
Turning to Moger, Neko got serious. "Forget drinks for now, Moger. You wanted to know about Mauser? Well, these two men here know more about Mauser than anyone I know in this city. And considering what Mr. Will Jackson here has told me, they might be able to tell you something that'll help you ."
