Mouth opening, Kalore felt himself mouth out, "I really do want to!" His voice wasn't there but he was shocked as he knelt in front of Monty, just a few feet from him, writing, "I wouldn't mind, ya know? Aside from almost roasting me... it wasn't bad." He had to write something to make it seem like it wasn't something that he would really want to do...That would be bad.

Monty jumped slightly and dropped the weapons to look at Kalore. What was he doing? Sure he was a few feet away but still. Why would Kalore be near him? He tried to burn the man from the inside out! Though he realized that he never wanted to do that to the elf. He nodded slowly. "Why would you even consider it?" He asked quietly. It was just beyond him sometimes that he was even in a group of eccentric people and not in his hell hole, literally.

A hand ran through his hair as Kalore shrugged, mouthing out, "I have no clue..." Giving Monty the one moment sign again, he wrote. There were many pauses as he himself tried to figure out why he was even considering it. "You did try to basically kill me...But I pushed you and fought back, and you eventually cooled down, no pun intended..." Another pause. "I think I'm considering it because..." A few moments passed as Kalore finally wrote, "You're not that bad." Maybe there was more, but that was all that needed to be said as of the moment.

The demon blinked at the elf as if he had a second head. "I see." Monty blinked some more and felt this wave of...gratitude towards the elf. No one has ever expressed that and he was expecting Kalore to not answer that question. He looked at the floor in silence, pondering on this revelation.

Sighing, the elf went back to his seat, guessing that the silence was a bad one, but he didn't know what to do. More than likely what he said wasn't something that was smart to say to a demon. Another sigh and Kalore was looking at the floor. He mouthed out, "That was bad to say...Wasn't it?" He didn't think that Monty saw it, but it didn't matter.

Monty didn't see what Kalore mouthed out but he figured out what Kalore must have been thinking. "Thank you Kalore." He said softly. The first time his voice reached the pitch and the first time he used it just like this was the first time anyone said that about him outside of his circle.

Looking up, Kalore smiled and nodded, "You're welcome." He didn't know if Monty could see what he was saying, but it hopefully still got across. Sighing, the man looked around, wondering about what had started this. Maybe it would be good if they did go someplace else...Wait, what?!

Monty nodded, watching the elf from the corner of his eye. What could he say? He was speechless! He did what he thought best and that was pick up the weapons to ressume his work but he was working slow and thinking about what lead to all of this.

Laying down, Kalore was back to looking at the ceiling, his perfectly lithe frame fully visible as his shirt went up just a little. He didn't notice as he followed the twisting pattern that was on the ceiling. It was pretty, and very interesting. But his mind was on how weird these moments had been.

Monty stopped and just looked at the weapons. What the hell was he doing? It was as if he was getting close to Kalore, wanting to get to know him or something. What the hell did that mean? What could it mean if he didn't come back from what ever hell they were all going to go through? What was it going to matter that Monty wanted to be friends with the elf? Kalore was going to end up getting bored or something and just leave like those before him tried to do. A life in a mob was fruitful but at the sametime dangeous.

Sighing, the elf continued to watch the ceiling as he thought about this. But then a thought went into his mind. Lucien and whoever he was with was targeting him and the Venoms. He couldn't be getting close to someone if he was a target. All that would do would just harm whoever he got close to. Kalore sighed and glanced at Monty. That wasn't good.

Monty sighed softly and mentally nodded. He wasn't going to get close to Kalore. He was going to keep it professional and polite, nothing more and nothing less. That was how he was and that was how he was going to be.

"I'm sorry..." Mouthing this out, he sighed, knowing that Monty wouldn't be able to hear him. What was Kalore apologizing for, though? He hadn't done anything wrong. "I shouldn't be getting close...You probably hate me getting, or trying to get close to you...And if I really am targeted...This is bad." All of this was mouthed out while Kalore was still staring at the ceiling, so there was very little chance of Monty being able to tell what he was saying. But, why would it be so bad?!

Monty went back to his work but he didn't have to because everything was finished. He didn't have anything else to do besides prevent anymore attachments with the elf and preventing them from being more than just professional comrades.

Kalore glanced at the man again, but had to sigh. This was just never going to work... Sighing he stood up and wrote, "I'm taking a shower...I still smell like blood. Ew." Without another word the elf was gone, into one of the rooms on the main floor so as to not disturb anyone with the noise.
