*Clever smiled at her mother and moved to the bar. She turned to Zac*
"Ah Zac, 'ow 'ave you been. Did you ever get that room?"
*She didn't mean to be so direct, but she was really wanting to stay in her own bed. Clever looked over to Keira.*
" 'ello Keira"

*When he noticed Rhodes didn't hug him back, he quickly stepped back. He bowed his head slightly and then blushed a little.*
Oh...gomen...I shouldn't have...uh....
*He could tell that time had changed Rhodes and he knew it had changed him too. He was focused on Shyla and working things out with his original love. He took a deep breath and nodded, pulling the letter out and waving it once before putting it back up.*
No...no..that's fine...this letter was good....I just wanted to tell you...I accept your apology and thanks for offering me an explanation..
*Aykon looked a little older and his face showed he was more tired than normal. He thought of Shyla and how he had left her with Heather, hopefully all was well.*
Also...I believe the new inkeeper is taking care of Clever much like I would have. Do you have any demands as her mother? I understand how those things are...my daughter means everything to me so I set strict rules.

*Keira turns to Clever and nods smiling a bit. She really wanted to ask Clever what was going on, but it felt like a personal matter and she didn't want to intrude*

*Keira was adressing both Zac and Clever. She knew Clever would most likely decline, but perhaps zac wouldn't*

*Rhodes felt a little sad that Aykon let her go, she had missed everything about being with him.*
"I just needed you to understand.. I didn't want too..."
*She wondered who the daughter was with, but she would never dare ask. Rhodes cast her eyes to her daughter*
"I have no requests, she's been happy here.
I didn't know you had a daughter."
*She chuckled thinking that he didn't know she had a daughter either.*

It's as I thought....he wouldn't...no couldn't leave without me...
Her voice was mumbled as if she was more talking to herself then Keira, and not once did she really look Keira's way as she fumbled with her glass in hand. It wasn't until Clever spoke to her that she finally looked at them both.
Oh yes, I did. You're rooms all yours now.
Fishing into her pocket she pulled out Clever's key and handed it back to her.
Thanks a lot for letting me use your room. I.....I'm....distracted. I'm sorry.
Zac wasn't really all that hungry, her stomach a little upset from everything that was going on.
Uh, no thank you Keira, I'm not really all that hungry.

*He nods understanding the situation. He wished he could talk to her more often than just now but he knew he wasn't going to be able to stay longer without bringing the ship.
I understand...you did what you had to do...and if you had told me about Clever...I could have kept her here. But I don't run the joint any more...I almost thought I might have to today but that's all taken care of.
*He looks over at Clever and then back to Rhodes, the similarities were mind boggling.*
Heh...I didn't either...based on what Clever told me, your daughter and mine aren't too different. Do you remember Candace? The one that demon Valefor killed? She hadn't had Shyla long but was living elsewhere while I was teaching...the day she was murdered...she was going to to tell me...Shyla's only 6 but I feel like she's older...her soul's older from what she's been through...
*Aykon let a few tears roll down as he thought about the miracle of even finding her and then getting her again.*
Now I live back home...taking care of my loved one...I haven't been here in years...heh...time flies when you are busy...
*He looked at Rhode's and wondered if he needed to say anything else.*

Zac wasn't really sure what Clever was talking about until she remembered the man Clever had been talking to, and turned around to look for him. He was still there and with another woman, who looked strikingly like Clever. Her mother she figured. I wonder what's going on she thought. Turning back around she leaned against the bar before speaking.
Who is he?

Not that I know of...although, it seems I look a lot like her according to four people. I just might be...not sure though...
