Krono opened his eyes. He had made up his mind. There was no point in sticking around if none of the people he was looking for were here. He turned and put his hand on the door and as he was about to push it open, he had heard a brief noise coming from the second floor. Something had moved on the second floor.

His hand dropped to his side and he turned away from the door. He stood their motionless for a few minutes to see if there were any other sounds, but he heard nothing. He thought for a moment before deciding to investigate what the cause of the sound was. He made his way through the dojo and to the stairs to climb the second floor.

He found someone to be fast asleep up there. Krono had no idea who the hell he was and the energy signature was something he had never seen before. The man in question was also looking very gaunt, he could tell that he wasn't eating properly. Krono reached into his pocket and pulled out a very smooth stone, one perfect for skipping across water, something he did a lot. He hefted it a few times before gently tossing it at the sleeping individual. He tensed as it flew through the air, he had no idea how this person would react.

Normally he wouldn't go to such lengths to strike a conversation, but he needed to get some questions answered and this was the only person around.

" Eh-eh guh... ... Un? Wha--? "

Once the stone had fallen and created a loud smack on the wood floor, Elergy began to sleepily open his eyes. It was an unfamiliar sound and his brain knew it. Blinking heavily several times and yawning once, he would finally look towards the rooms doorway. Taking a moment to let his eyes adjust, once focused he pulled back a little. Someone was there! It had been... well, months! Holding in his breath, Elergy would look the man over. Who was he, and what was that loud bang he had heard prior?

" Ha-- Hello? "

"Hello there." Krono spoke slowly and his speech was disjointed. It was obvious that he had not had interaction with anyone in quite some time.

He got a better look at the individual and could see that it as beyond not eating properly, this guy was probably starving. Krono merely stood there, analyzing him for a solid two minutes. He had forgotten to say something else as a follow up.

"What happened around here? Where is everyone?" His questions broke the silence rather abruptly and he tited his head while continuing to look at the stranger. "Why do you look like death on two legs?" He added this as an afterthought, only slightly curious.

" Ng... Sorry, I don't really know. L-last I saw anybody around here was... too long ago. A few people have come and gone, not many have paid me mind. "

It was true, the last people around the Dojo had been D and Sairys. Devon had stopped by for a moment, but Elergy had never seen him, and as for Zano, well after he went out to search the area he never came back. Not to say the man was dead, but in the Black Company region, who was to say he wasn't? The questions were a little jarring, having not spoken to anyone in months, this was more conversation than the man had endured for a while.

" Huh? U-oh... I-- There's little in the ways of food round this place. Some small plants maybe, but the animals mostly stay out. Y-you wouldn't happen to have anything on you, would you? "

The mere thought of food made Elergy begin to drool, a slight trickle beginning at one corner of his dry cracked lips. If the newcomer had no food, well it would be disappointing to say the least... but maybe there was some new moss on one of the trees outside, or maybe a mushroom or a snail! It was easy to see that the man was very malnurished, and would barely make an edible meal himself.

Krono shook his head and looked towards the ground. The man was useless, he had no information on what the hell happened. He probably hadn't even met who he was looking for. He sighed and shifted his gaze back to the malnourished man. He saw the drool coming from his mouth and shook his head, his golden hair swaying with the motion.

The man looked pathetic, and that was being nice about it.
"No I don't. Isn't there anything you can hunt for beyond that wall?" Krono spoke in a cold and matter of fact tone. He was almost certain he had seen some wild game on his travel to the dojo, but couldn't really confirm it as he wasn't paying attention to that kind of thing.

Not standing looking at the gaunt man any longer, he glanced over the room that he was calling home. It was more like a lounge then anything. Krono thought that there might've been dorms or something to that degree housed within the compound.

Poking his head out of the shadows in a rather dark corner of the dojo common room, Truinthil looked around a bit. There were people here for once. He was sure this place had become abandoned, but apparently someone had use for it. Or maybe they were just passers through. Stepping from the shadows he looked around more and tilted his head at the two that he saw. Neither were familiar to him, but that didn't matter. He studied what he could of them in a mere instant. One appeared to be hungry while the other seemed not to care. Perhaps he could play with them? "Hmm...It certainly has been a long time since I've seen much activity here. I wonder what brings you both to this...oh so wonderful place?" Truinthil said as he tilted his head to the other side now, a small grin on his lips that did not even begin to touch his eyes.

" Do you really think I haven't tried? I've been getting weaker and weaker every time I've attempted to 'catch' something out there. I have no energy in me anymore to hunt for things. They're too fast for my knobbed legs to keep up with. "

Had he more energy the man might set up a dead fall, or snare, but was he even in his right mind to think about how to trap a small animal with string? It was about then that Elergy heard another voice. Another person? Why all of a sudden? It looked like his stars might be changing with more people about, just maybe. Elergy would inquire to Truinthil, his identity. It seemed a natural response if anything.

" Ah-- w-who? "

Looking to the skinny, rather hungry looking man that spoke to him, he finally straightened his head and blinked. "What? Are you asking me something? If so, stop stuttering. You must have at least enough strength in you to do that?"

Krono snapped his head in the direction of the new comer and his right and instinctively[ shot down to the hilt of his trusted sword Abel. He narrowed his eyes and watched the newcomer to the room, unsure what his intentions were, why was he here?

Krono had let his guard down while he was talking to the starving man, something he hasn't happy about at all. It had been long since someone had be able to sneak up on him. He watched as the starving guy and the new person exchanged a few petty words. He figured by the way this stranger was talking, he might know what happened here and where everyone is.

"Perhaps you can answer my questions. What the hell happened here? Where did everyone go?" Krono's hand hovered over the hilt of his sword motionlessly, ready to draw in a split second if the situation called for it. His eyes remained narrowed and focused on this new person.

Raising his left hand to tap his fingers idly upon his chin for a moment, Truinthil regarded the starving man for a moment more before turning his head to look at the other man in the room. Taking careful note of the way the man's hand was all but twitching over his sword hilt he couldn't help but chuckle. "Why is it that everyone I ever encounter here is always so quick to draw weapons? I honestly would suggest against such course of action, were I you." Turning then to fully face the man, he spread his arms in an open gesture. "Besides, you can plainly see that I am unarmed." There was a certain light in his eyes though, and his too calm manner that suggested he didn't need such material weapons as swords to fight. "As for those that used to reside here? I really have little idea where they have gone. Draeken, if you know him, is currently at his mansion I believe. He and Phia had a little...fight I guess you could call it. Or something. She stays with Xol most the time anymore. My other half, if you could call him that," Truinthil's lips twisted in a sneer at the mention of the man he was a clone of, even if he was the one bringing it up, "Spends his time at the mansion as well I think. Most of the others I think have simply left the area for reasons unknown to me. It's sad really. This place always used to be a boiling pot of emotions, easily sparked into riots, in a sense." The grin he gave at that last suggested he may have been the cause of some of those tremulous times.

With both men at the door infront of him, Elergy was beginning to feel a little bit cornered. All he hoped for was a bit of food to get him back on his feet. Instead he was being talked down to for a stutter, how sad. Shifting himself a little, Elergy was now in a sitting pose. He looked on as Krono became on edge, and the boisterous Truinthil continued talking. Draeken... yes, he was the one who was here last that Elergy could remember, though he didn't really know the man's name. As such he couldn't mention that he had seen D, not that it mattered much right? The atmosphere could be better, maybe it would lighten up a little. If not, Elergy would need to find a route out of the room and quickly. From the sounds of it the others from before were somewhere about in their respective homes. Should he take a chance to find one of them, and if so why? There was a lot to think over if the man wanted to survive and bulk up.

" Yes. I saw such riots once. It was months ago now. I know of what you speak. "

Krono's hand remained steady over the hilt of his sword. He watched and listened to the man speak, intent on his words only to see if he would mention anyone he was looking for. The man was too sly for his liking and could tell by the way he was phrasing his words that he though Krono would stand no chance against him if it ever came to blows. All he could do was smirk at this. Most only though he had his swords to rely on, they had no idea of what else he could, and when they realized he had many more tricks up his sleeve it was usually too late.

Riots....so there had been fighting here as he had suspected. He was disappointed not to here any names that he was looking for. He had no intention of seeking anyone out that he didn't know or have any ties to, but he was beginning to consider staying at this location. It would serve to have an actual place to train rather then his dimension. While he was going over this, he had not shifted his gaze from the new man, he was really lost in his own thought, but if there were much movement he'd be brought back to reality in an instant.

"Forgive me 'friend', but one can never be too careful." Never too careful....that was for sure. You could never be to careful when you openly plotted an assault against heaven. Both heaven and hell had sent agents out to destroy him, one as a preventative measure, the other as a revenge hit. "Let us both agree that a fight isn't in our interest in this point in time? There is clearly more to both of us then either of us knows....or cares to know for that matter." With that said, Krono let his hand drop down to his side and he relaxed a little. He would still be ready to strike should the need arise, but he doubted that anything would come to blows.

He shifted his gaze towards the starving man. If he was going to make this place his centre of operations, he was going to need some food. He saw no harm in letting the man have something to eat. So long as he didn't bother him to much. Krono closed his eyes and leaned on the support for the doorway.
"From looking at you, I suppose that there is no food stalked in this place. Perhaps I should go hunting."

Nodding as the other man spoke and relaxed a little, Truinthil shrugged and took a chair that was near him. He sat though in such a posture that while seeming at ease he also looked still to be on the brink of violence. A wolf awaiting the proper moment to strike it's prey. "Well then. Now that everyone seems relaxed, just what is it you are looking for. Or rather, who?" he intoned to the man who a moment ago was ready to fight. "I may be of some help depending on who it is or what it is you are seeking."

" No more than crumbs of crumbs, and those have been ousted by bugs and other vermin for their suppers ages ago. "

In short 'no' no food. Krono held a better chance in hunting than Elergy had with his current lack of energy. There might be some good wild game in the forest, deer, some kind of wild grouse or quail, rabbit and a few other potentials. When Truinthil began talking again, all attention was on he, and his posture didn't go unnoticed.

Krono opened his eyes and looked and tilted his head so he could look at the mysterious man who was now sitting in the chair not far from him. He couldn't help but wonder at what cost it would take to have him aid in his search. He didn't exactly look like someone who was out for the betterment of others.

Krono smirked and closed his eyes once again.
"I really doubt you can tell me anything about how to find this particular individual, aside from that I can't help but wonder at what cost your aid would come with." With that Krono sighed and kicked away from the inside of the doorframe. He then made his way back into the room proper and looked outside. "With that said, his name is Zero and....Well let's just we go way back." He paused for a moment and then looked at the stranger. "His was not the only one I sensed though....there were other I felt but I can't quite place...it's not like it matters much I suppose."

He then turned to face the other stranger who was still sitting on the couch. "I suppose that if I do go and get some food I'm gonna have to feed you too." This kindness towards the individual was strange coming from Krono. He normally wasn't this nice. At least of late. Old habbits die hard it seemed, and it still shone through at times that he was once a general in the army of heaven. He sensed nothing bad about the man and couldn't feed himself and just watch the man starve.
