Flute is a pretty entertaining instrument to play, I enjoy it, even after all of these years of doing it. :3
What's amusing is that our town is pretty small in our state, but our band is over a hundred kids, and we win state every year..in band, our band is a legend, but when you ask people around the state about the town, only a few will know what you're talking about. xd

You sound a lot like a town I know... ...are you in Texas? a band like that is kind of our rival, but we're friends. We're both good bands, but my band is just starting to go to State ((we went last year, it was awesome!))

I'm a 6th year flute player but I only concider this my second year. The first 4 years were a total joke. I play like a 2nd year floutist too. emo
Our band never competes, our BD hates the marching season and only gives us 2 weeks to practice a painfully simple routine that we still screw up. He prefers concert and says that we aren't there to entertain the crowds at football games. Which is bull... But anyway. He also hates pep music.

I am a flutest been playing for 9 yrs almost but i have always rented so i was wonderin ifanyone knew of a way i could get a hands on a good quility flute that isn't too expensive cuz im not the richest person on the block razz thnks

Princess Bee L I am a flutest been playing for 9 yrs almost but i have always rented so i was wonderin ifanyone knew of a way i could get a hands on a good quility flute that isn't too expensive cuz im not the richest person on the block razz thnks Well someone gave me the suggestion that I should try out the flute I like in a store and later look it up on the internet because usually they sell it much more expensive in music stores. Just check out the brand you like on the internet and see what you find. Good luck!! mrgreen

I play the flute too! I love playing it and I'm finally in an actual marching band! We've already began our band practices untill school starts, from 8am to 5pm... Sometimes it's torcher and there's things I'd rather do, but it's band gotta love it 3nodding

in our band the flutes are like the most hyped we keep everyone going
