There are also random times where shiny Pokemon will appear for capture in missions and events (like capture contests).

It's designed to be a fighting game that relies less on execution (see, shoryukens, 360* stick rotations, buffering charges through block/hitstun), your specials are a simple button press on a cooldown. That doesn't mean this game sacrifices in depth: there are still links, cancels, footsies AND A GIANT RUSSIAN ROBOT PILOTED BY A DOG.
It's aiming to be the Hearthstone of fighting games and if it's anywhere near that successful, you're going to be hearing a lot about it this winter. Also, this project is led by Seth Killian, a dude who did a lot of work on SF4 so he kinda knows what he's doing.
