While Kuma and Paula could have different standard sets, modded specials, and be female.
And Duster and Boney would be completely different characters altogether. Claus would be less likely to be a Ness Clone than either Kumatora or Paula. Not really. Kuma would be taller, and could use more real life martial arts moves. Her weapons are gauntlets afterall. And move her specials around to be more like their in-game counterparts.
Paula could use the frying pan for her standard attacks, and use Ness' specials but make them better. She taught them to him afterall.
Claus just wouldn't be very unique at all. Another sppedy sword wielder, or another Psychic boy. Paula and Kumatora would still use the PSI Magnet, PK Thunder, and PK Fire. But yeah i'm starting to agree with you.
Magnet could be replaced, I think. Pray, for Paula. Not sure what Kumatora could do though...
I guess this is kind of irrelevant, since we probably won't be seeing another smash for about 6 or 7 years.

Now I'm itching for some Mother cosplay again. I could be Lucas again... or Claus. I have enough for the Plasma Gear now, but should I buy it??? I haven't had this much gold before... plus there isn't mush head gear that covers the eyes...
Plus I'm hoping for some support next week with my Kuma submission... but that's another story...
Has anyone been daring enough to toss someone into the way of the Ultimate Chimera?

Would you guys believe that there's no concept artwork for Mother 3? There aren't even any clay models like for Mother 1 and 2! They were just made from the sprites up.
My friend and newest Cultie, Nintendokami loves the EB series as well. I showed her Mother 3 as well. I DO hope she posts soon.

Wehn I saw what Shigesato said about no more MOTHER games, I was stricken.

But I did happen to just record a short little clip of being in the debug room. Plus in the past I wrote a little of what can be done. Here:

I think talking to one of them Mr. Saturns takes you back to the game, but I hear some weird things may happen...
Another way to get out is to fight the Blazefly in the corner of the room. You must lose though...

We've seemed to have turned this topic into our own MOTHER guild discussion.
So, whose better with Ness and whose better with Lucas?
I'm an aerial fighter, so naturally I'm better with Ness, but I feel like Lucas is more fun to fool around with.
Fun Brawl=Lucas
Serious Brawl=Ness

Well I know Lucas saved my arse with his multi-hitting PK Thunder, and his D Air is useful.
Ness, though is classic pwnage in a red hat.
Truthfully, I can't go wrong with either. but I'm starting to slide towards Lucas. For me it's like:
55% Lucas/45% Ness
