"Uh-" She looked as if she were about to say something but stopped. She looked down for a moment, seeming to think about this for the first time. Then she looked back up at him, still a bit confused. "I, uh, don't know really... I guess I was too tired to really think about what I was doing, so I just pick this tree. I don't have a place to stay at the moment."

"Ah." That was all he said for a while, just watching her curiously as he crouched there. Finally, after several minutes of contemplation, he stood up slowly and stretched, dusting himself off a bit before walking over to the tree. He reached up and swung onto a higher branch off to her right, testing it for strength before sitting down on it, back to the trunk with one leg dangling off. "Hope you don't mind sharing your tree. But I don't have a place to stay either...." he said absentmindedly, reaching into his shirt and pulling out a wooden canteen, tossing it down to her carelessly. The lid was sealed so it wouldn't spill, and other than that he didn't seem to care. He didn't bother explaining himself, instead just leaning back with his hands behind his head.....

Misukai just looked down during the several minutes, thinking to herself, 'Awkward silnce. Awkward silnce. Awkward silnce.' She looked back up and watched as he climbed into the tree. She tried to watch where he went, but ended up hitting her head on the tree. "Ow..." She mumbled to herself as she rubbed the stop she hit. "Well at least I'll have company..." Was her reply, as she shifted to get comfortable again. Just as she leaned back with a soft sigh, hugging Panda close once again, something drop right on her head causing her to wince. She looked down at the wooden canteen confused, then up at the mysterious boy, glaring. She looked back down and shook her head, picking up the canteen, looking it over and taking a drink.

Dawn nodded in agreement to her comment, before wincing as he felt her glaring up at him. This girl seemed to have a knack for getting hit in the head. He would have to be more careful in the future. He didn't like the vibes he got from that glare. After a few more moments of silence he spoke again, not for any particular reason other than to speak. "So, why are you off on your own? You don't seem the type to be running off or something." he said, untying his sword from his back before draping it over the side of the branch so it hung below him, leaning back a bit more relaxed this time. For how cautious he had been earlier, he seemed fairly laid back now......

Misukai put the lid back on the canteen and put it down next to her. "Well, I'm not running. I'm just trying to find someone, but at the moment I'm kinda lost and homeless." At this she brought her knees up to her chest, hugging Panda and thinking about a nice warm bed. Coming back out of her thoughts, she looked up at him curiously. "And what about yourself?"

Dawn blinked, thinking to himself for a moment before smiling to himself. "I got kicked out of my village for losing to my master in a duel. I've been wandering ever since." he said with a small laugh, remembering how badly he'd been defeated. He was much stronger now, but he still couldn't shake off the impression that he wasn't strong enough. No, not yet. He still had a ways to go before he was strong enough to return. For now, he would continue to wander. "Sorry if I upset you earlier, by the way. I'm not used to dealing with people." Which made him wonder why he had approached her at all. It wasn't like him to get involved with others. He supposed he would figure it out as he went.....

"It's alright, I shouldn't have been sleeping out here anyways. Not exactly safe..." She thought over what he had said just before. "Kicked out of your village? That sounds rough..." She felt kind of bad, she could go home whenever she pleased, dispite the fact that she was lost, yet he wasn't allowed to.

Dawn shrugged, pulling a small stone out of his sleeve and absentmindedly began to throw it up into the air and catch it repeatedly with the one hand, never looking at the rock. "You get used to it after a while. Being alone isn't the rough part." he said with a small laugh, though he made no effort to clarify what the rough part was exactly. It was just the way he was. Who knew, maybe one day he'd learn how to speak clearly. But for the moment, he was too preoccupied with his rock...

Misukai just gave a little nod, hugging Panda softly with her knees still to her chest. She didn't want to push the subject or ask him many questions, he didn't seem like really wanted to talk about anyway. She just leaned back against the tree and watched the sky...

The monotonous rock tossing continued for a few more minutes before he suddenly caught it and let his hand fall to his side, aparently done doing that for the moment. He glanced over at the girl, thinking to himself. She had said she was looking for someone. "Who are you looking for?" he asked softly, wondering once again why he was bothering talking to her. He must be getting senile or something.....

Misukai didn't seem to hear him, continuing to just stare up at the clouds. After thinking to herself a moment, she replied, "My sister. I heard she would be staying at some place call the 'Black Company'. I guess since it's not here I'll have to try looking some where else..." She down at the canteen, thinking over where else she could possibly search.

Dawn blinked at this, frowning to himself for a moment as he thought. "Black Company?" he said out loud, trying to place the name. He had heard it mentioned in the past occasionally, yet he had never paid it much heed. Yet perhaps there was more to this company than he had first thought. "Do you know anything about the Black Company?" he asked, hoping to gauge its importance.....

Dawn thought about this for a few more moments before nodding slowly. "I'm currently wandering in an effort to train and become stronger, so that one day I might be able to return to my village. This Black Company sounds as though there are strong people involved in it......" He trailed off again, thinking this over as he left the obvious meaning behind his words unspoken.....

Misukai looked confused at the boy for a moment, then returned her gaze back down toward the canteen. "You sure are talkative, Huh?" She said sarcasticly, shaking her head slightly.
