Flute is awesome! does anyine know a way that I could play me higher notes without squeaking? I just fixed my flute so It must be me. . .

flutes are the best! i have been playing for about 3 or 4 years! and we get away with soo much! plus we are susabley the innocent people! hahaha some are and then again some aren't! i mean in our band we are the ones who get in troublem because we laugh alot and then our director totally yells then he says hes srry! we get away with so much

damn you high e natural on piccolo... I can't hit that one note. I just picked up the instrument for marching.

The highest note I can play on the piccilo is high G it's my first year playing the tiny thing.

My first year of playing the piccolo, I was changing between flute and it. And after having your hands on the piccolo for so long you kinda forget how big that flute is. It's just weird.

Spurple Virginie Hullo, due to lack of school enthusiasm and low input from the middle school, I'm the only Flautist in my band at the moment. Even though I'm marching Picc right now. I just checked out an Open-Holed to practice my song for Solo and Ensemble this year. I'd rather be the only one in the band than one out of twenty, like I am now. Gah. -_-;; And nine of them are in my class. (Except right now, I'm on tenor... there's only two of us! ^^) I hate it. Lots of little sophomore kids. x_x You know, thats really weird because our Concert Band has two Tenors as well!

Ascend I'm a flutist, too, though I prefer the trombone. ^^;; Sorry! Keltzy, all the flutists in my band are snooty, too. XD They're either pretty asians with boyfriends or guys that are presumed gay. confused

I love picc. it's so much fun! but I never get to play it in band since we have about 9 flutists and we don't really need more high notes. sweatdrop I think I would be so much better at picc if the school one wasn't so old, though. >_>

Flute I must say is one of my favorites. Yes only one of them cause I can't choose btween my other instruments! I love my flute, I got it for christmas in 2006 and it's an open-hole one---sterling silver! It's so shiny! All of my other flutie friends make fun of me cause I'm so over-protective of it! I always clean it, I rarely let anyone else play it and if someone holds it the wrong way ie: gripping the keys or drops it, I get very mad. Well not mad but upset! I've been playing for 7 years! How about you guys?
